JimUpdating Posted January 23, 2025 Posted January 23, 2025 1) Address library not in the screengrab of active mods. You should see something like in the png below. 2) Anticipating the next problem, I can't see any body mods. So once you get the animations going, all you'll see is underwear.

travelmedic Posted January 23, 2025 Posted January 23, 2025 Are you starting your game from the SKSE launcher, or from the regular Skyrim launcher? Also a question for anyone here who uses Vortex - in the pictures on the first post of this thread, a lot of mods show a yellow triangle/exclamation point symbol to the right. Is that because they're not Nexus mods, or a sign of another issue? (I don't use Vortex myself)
alex77r4 Posted January 23, 2025 Posted January 23, 2025 Just now, MadMansGun said: at this point i'm thinking nuke all and restart. you need to make sure skyrim itself is clean, because vortex has a nasty habit of putting files directly into the game's install folder (creating problems that are near impossible to find & solve), where as MO2 does not. That was assumptions from the previous Nexus Mod Manager. Vortex, as i know, after use it for years, not have that problems. Vortex never put real files inside the skyrim folder. All that files are symlink's, false files that show and appear real files but really are only a link to the real file. Vortex have a button calle "Purge Mods" to remove every one of the symlink's deployed leaving the folder of the game as a new and clean install. MO2 have the BIG problem of need define each external program inside MO2 and all the execution of each external tool must be launched from MO2. That cause a lot of problems in the past because not all external program support the virtual files of MO2. With Vortex we have a link in the real folder of the game that allow us run any external tool without open Vortex. That is marvellous. With MO2 any external tool must be run from inside MO2. You must open MO2 and run the external tool with MO2 open.

ANGRYWOLVERINE Posted January 23, 2025 Posted January 23, 2025 (edited) I don't know who's videos he watched. I liked Gamerpoets and Gophers although his are a bit old by now. Plus there is the redditt although I would read their how to section and not ask questions as they aren't always nice in answering. Took me forever but my games are usually stable. Does he have jcontainers. ? Took me forever to realize animations won't work without it. Edited January 23, 2025 by ANGRYWOLVERINE
ShivasBane Posted January 23, 2025 Posted January 23, 2025 There are a couple of things that look a bit odd. There are 2 entries for UI Extensions, and 2 entries for Slal_AnimationBy Baka Factory which appear to be duplicates. There are also 2 entries for Alternate Start which appear to be different versions and may conflict with each other. No body mods at all and it looks like essential mods like jcontainers are not present. I would suggest removing all mods and going to the SexLab 1.66b page listed on page one and carefully reading the requirements. Be sure to install ALL of the required mods making sure to download the ones that match your game version. It can be a bit overwhelming at first but with some patience you will get there. It took me a few years of breaking my game but I now have just under 800 mods and my game is as stable as can be. It hasn't crashed once in the 200 hours plus into this play through. I'm on game version 1.6.6.40 and I also use Vortex and FNIS with no problems. I hope this helps.

JimUpdating Posted January 23, 2025 Posted January 23, 2025 you've jumped into modding, in a system where people can load 100 to 1000 mods to customize their game. good news - given the range of (human - humanoid - inhuman - hentai - dragon)(hetero - bi - pan)(vanilla - devious - vore) there are mods that will be to your taste. bad news - there's a lot of choices and files. building a mod list can take me a week, checking that everything is in place and working, and I've been here for 5 years. go slow get ready for a lot of reading about each mod's requirements. there are guides, but with a lot of reading (see below) there is a community, people are willing to help. please be as specific as possible in what isn't working I am in Skyrim, in the MCM menu, looking at SexLab menu, and the install option doesn't work I am in Skyrim, in the MCM menu, I've loaded a mod and it doesn't appear in the MCM. I am in FNIS, and get these warnings (Screengrab) I am in a mod manager, and it gives these warnings (Screengrab) if you just want plug and play, or inspiration, then there are collections https://next.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/collections?gameVersion=1.6.1170.0 some of those will go NSFW, and get to human/hetero/vanilla.

This is total rubbish. Vortex doesn't have 'a habit' of putting files into the Data folder, it is designed to put them there. Bethesda puts its CC files there too. What are these problems that are near impossible to solve? I thought you didn't use any mod manager.
