i want cry so hard... nothing ever works

i try i try and i try harder
but it never work
i watch 5 videos, install correct version, all reqs and even follow videos steps, by steps
BUT NOTHING WORK!!!
i try all versions possible try re-install all req and yet it the FNIS don't read and when i enter then install buttom don't work EVER!!!

A couple things that might help. Use Mod Organizer 2, not Vortex. Are you using Anniversary Edition? If so, most people forgo FINIS. It's old, buggy, and difficult to use. I think the newer tech is Nemesis or there is another one.

but yes use MO2, vortex sucks so god dam hard.

Between the many patches I've downloaded for it, and the bug fixing I've had to do, I feel confident in saying FNIS is difficult to use. Almost because it's just a Big Yellow Button. From what I've seen, I much prefer Pandora.

Please no. Pandora/Nemesis have an advantage in number of animations, but as there's only BakaFactory + some creatures, we shouldn't be hitting number of animations. FNIS is a standard, and with just a few animations we need to track down what is glitching. OP has Creature Framework + MNC + HCOS. Which may complicate Pandora/Nemesis, and may also be the issue here.

What we need is screen grabs for specifics.

(in windows, type snip into the start bar to get access to the snipping tool.)

 

Is this the FNIS button in Vortex isn't working, or that FNIS itself isn't working?

 

So let's try FNIS outside of Vortex.

 

Step 1 - start FNIS and get a screengrab 

 FNIS should be in the (some drive letter)(where you told Steam to install games)\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\ 

 If you go to that directory \steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\ and double click GenerateFNISforUsers.exe , what happens?

 Can you get to something like the FNIS start.png image?

 

Step 1 when you click on "Update FNIS Behaviour" what happens (with screen grabs?)

  FNIS should only have Gender and Skeleton checked, everything else not checked. 

  It should report it is working in the \steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition directory.

  It should report which animation packs it has found. 

  Does it report warnings or errors? .

screen grab what FNIS says after updating, and post here (or in SE Tech support), and tag me in the post.

also, let's not complicate things by vortex vs mo2. 

changing that, you really want to do a clean install of Skyrim again to ensure everything is clean. Having to debug MO2 not liking some left over file from Vortex is a whole other issue.

careful this is a trap, your game is in fact "AE" because it's still using the AE exe even if you don't have AE.

ok, if this is a purchase on steam, then I think you're automatically into AE, v1.6.1170, and then having to install mods to downgrade to 1.5.97 to avoid AE.

 

however, if there is even a trace of this being a pirated/cracked copy, then I think some of the tools like FNIS have protections against being used on pirated software.

but like only version work on my skyrim was  SexLabFrameworkSE_v163

others versions don't even open, the skse say it don't open in my version

even my game say is 1.6.1170

(please confirm - skyrim is running, and people aren't t-posing, and you start in the quiet cell with the statue of mara?)

 

The sexlab mod is very specific to each version of skyrim.

Inside Skyrim, when you hit ESC to go to the system menu and MCM menu, what version of Skyrim does it report? 1.5.97 or 1.6.1170?

If Skyrim reports 1.6.1170, you need SKSE 2.2.6 and you need SexLab 1.66b

 

As your game starts, I'm guessing you have SKSE 2.2.6
