Very nice as said before. I will give it a try anytime soon

Interesting idea, and kudos to integration!

Out of curiousity, what is the script that you modified?  _SLSubmitBoundEffect?  That seems like the logical choice, being the one that directly puts you into the post-rape bindings, and if so, there stands little chance I will modify that in the future (Other than some huge bug being discovered in it, but at this point, unlikely.)

I am just checking to make sure you didn't modify _SLSubmitScene (Since that has the initial post-sex thread() hook stuff) and/or _SLSubmitQuest (Since that handles what the hotkey does when you push it).  Given their nature as mega multi-purpose catch all scripts, they have a much, MUCH higher chance they will get modified to some degree during updates.

trying it myself also, im guessing its not gonna break anything if I already have belt on when I submit?

in that case, Devices still add your inventory. of course those devices cannot equip though...

yes I touch only _SLSubmitBoundEffect.

I'm allways been fan of your mod, so if you update your mod, i'm sure I will check.

I had this running at the same time as Angrim's Apprentice (which also puts chastity devices on the player), and they worked together flawlessly. Angrim's only puts the belt on, so when I got beat down by some bandits and they wanted to put their own devices on, the code added ones I didn't have and put the others in my inventory. Pretty cool.

I've had DD installed for quite some time but never made any use of it at all, but mods like this and Angrim's are finally bringing it to my attention, and I'm finding that I like it more than I would have guessed.  ^_^

If that is all you touch, then you stand a very good chance of not having future Submit updates affecting anything.  Can't necessarily say never, but, a good chance. :P

If I do for one reason or another, I'll try to remember to toss out a courtesy post in this thread to give you a heads up.

mmh what effect will the device cause? and its a task type item or just normal and can be opend by key from forge?

Downloaded to give a try since it sounds cool.

Do the bandits have a key for when they have another go at the pc?

function is same as [Devious Devices - Integration]. made key from forge or using [Devious Devices - For the masses]

Neat. I use submit myself, and may well use this mod in my own game.

yeah and your mod make me horny :D thanks !

You should include the armbinder from the latest Devious Devices update in things you can end up in. ^_^ Maybe add this plugin to Sexlab Defeat too! This mod should be fun...

I've just installed the update for Devious Devices, so haven't seen what the armbinder can do, but I get the feeling that having it added after a Submit encounter would be pretty serious, probably akin to the 'hardcore' mode in Submit, if not worse. :P

Adding it should probably not be done lightly.

Hey I never thought've that.

What happens if, when you make an opponent submit and they open their inventory to you, you give them Devious Devices? Will they wear them?

Likely, via the same mechanic for equipping items on companions/other NPC's.

It would basically work like the Hardcore-escape option, but with one difference: In normal Hardcore mode, you can be unbound by any neutral or freindly NPC (they may wish to have a go at you first, but they will release you). With the Armbinder, you would have to find a freindly NPC (someone who is at rank 1 or above), NPC's at rank 0 will not help you, only take advantage of you.

So basically, it would work with any vanilla game start (once you escape Helgen, you have atleast 1 freind who can release you). With a non-vanilla start however, using LaL or similar mods, it could potentially be possible to get bound in an armbinder before you have any freinds (making it very difficult, maybe even impossible to get released).

Personally, i'd like to see the arminder added, but with a low chance of getting equipped, since it would not be hard to make atleast 1 freind before getting yourself into trouble (and even if you do, you only just started the game, so starting over is not a big loss).

Anyway, i have a suggestion for the mod:

Right now, if you start a new game with this mod enabled, it's very possible to get belted long before you have the abillity to craft any keys. You can only learn to craft keys by reading the book from the college (which also starts the Forbidden Tome quest) that also teaches you how to craft the items.

There are only 2 ways to remove a belt, 1 is using a key, the other is to have very high lockpick/magic skills, a low level character who has not yet read the book can therefor NOT remove any items placed on them.

So, how about making a copy of that book? A copy that will only teach you how to make keys, but not how to make the rest of the items, and then make this key-book avalible at blacksmiths or traders for sale at a high price?

This way, you can learn to make keys at a cost without starting the Forbidden Tome quest, but, it does not make the quest-book useless, since you must still read that book to learn how to forge your own devices. The key-book only lets you make keys.

Struggling will get you out eventually  (May take quite a while though! I'd recommend making a friend, first).  :P

EDIT: For that matter, relationship rank 0 NPC's will let you out without rebinding you, if you don't mouth off to them. Additionally, the forbidden tome quest won't start if you take the book while already wearing a belt.

Huh, then how do you start the quest in that case? Can you just talk to Urag and ask about the book after you have removed the belt and colar and have it srat normally? Or might it cause problems..

You would have to drop/pick the book back up to start the quest: I'm planning on reworking the trigger conditions for starting the FT, as it's proven to have been an imperfect approach.
