Hello, can someone make an adaptation of this armor for cbbe?

Hello Cobaltum.  Why not do it yourself?  It's quite easy to do and I show you every step along the way  HERE .

If I could do this, I would not have written here with my request. My English is at a preschooler level, so I can’t understand most of the points of instruction, and it’s not very informative.

Eureka!

After the initial problems with the HDT I managed to find (or rather remember) the solution.

Instead of first importing the mesh and then loading the reference body, I made a new project and imported the mesh into that.

Now the HDT effects work.

I plan to also convert this to CosioHD later.

Great work! Haven't tested in game but it definitely looks superb in BS

Well... the front and back clothes of the skirt looks a bit weird in some positions (like it's bunched up despite hanging free), but I don't think I can fix that.

To make that not behave weird it would probably be necessary to make a new bone for each and I have never done that.

What about just coping the reference from like CT77's remodeled iron armor? There's a bit of a "skirt" there. I think from what I've been able to gather from messing around with HTD in bodyslide you can just copy from a reference piece that's the same partition and location... I could be way off though...

I never tried... or frankly even thought of that before.

Well... the iron armor's loin clothes were too short, but the ones from the CT77 leather armor fit. While this didn't get entirely rid of the problem, it does look better now with the two skirt bones.

Thank you.

I put the updated files and a CosioHD conversion into the previous release post:

Sorry but i think you forgot to replace the unp feet for cbbe feet. that's why there is weird looking textures.

Yeah, I just checked in outfit studio and yeah... the textures are off.

Yeah I didn't think of that.

Though unfortunately the only angled CBBE feet I found on my harddrive (from Luxury collection) that fit into these shoes have some small differences with the toes, resulting in the nailgloss floating above and besides six of the toes and my attempts to make the gloss fit on the new toes looked horrible, so I had to remove the gloss.

Anyway, the updated files are in the release post:

Can you craft it or is it console command only?

In Outfit Studio does anyone know how to put 2 partitions on leg armor or leggings? For the life of me I can't figure this out.

Thanks

You could try this using your example of leggings:

1. Use the mask tool to mask on leg

2. Then separate vertices

3. Apply slot number to each legging in the partition tab as they are now separate partitions

and separate meshes, of course now it takes 2 slots so not sure what the advantage is here.

If you want to add multiple partitions to only one shape then I think you need Blender or Max for that as I have seen a few meshes with separate partitions but they were painted in different colors so was obvious in Outfit Studio.

If object has partition of 0 BP_TORSO then you cannot change without conversting NiSkinInstance block to BSDismemberSkinInstance in nifskope, but I would leave it as 0 BP_TORSO since you can then define the item slot in the esp without having to change the nif to match.

Sorry if his is not what your looking for.

It gives me an idea though... Thanks...

Like for CT77's mod set he has 2 partitions on his leggings and I've seen it on others... I just don't know how to do it but the mask tool might work.. Thanks!

What do you mean with partition exactly?

If you just want to hide parts of a mesh, then you could create a Zap Slider.

That works by using the mask tool on the parts you want hidden, then invert the mask (either via menu or by pressing ctrl+i) and then sliders->new zap slider (previous OS versions didn't like spaces in the ZapSlider name, not sure if that's still the case).

This also works over multiple parts at once, if you shift+click them in the parts list.

If you want to turn something into a seperate part that you can then for example export and import into other projects... I have never tried that, but I think that's what Imperfection was explaining earlier.

I don't know...

I only converted it and then consoled it in for testing, but didn't check the crafting rack.

Can you also see if I can forge it as well please?
