Anybody play mods like this with their signif other living with them?

Honestly if your asking that question in the first place you've answered it for yourself. She has to learn to like you for you, or you have to change to suit her. But there in lyes the rub, if one of you has to change to suit the other is it going to be worth the sacrifice in the end or are one/both of you allowing your need for companionship to dilute the reality of the situation?

For what little my advice is worth I'd lay it down and come clean and where it ends up from there was going to be in the first place, delaying the inevitable does nothing.

Take her to nice places for dates and spend some time with her. Make her feel that she is the special girl that she is. This is so that she can get the attention and affection that she might think you are wasting on the game. She might want more "loving" from you and be confused about why you are so interested in the game. That covers the first step. Strengthen the relationship with her.

 

While doing so let her see / join in on some classy mods and stories get her involved in the gaming using these mods (select tasteful ones) That covers the second step. With her involved in the game as well you can share stories and grow and have laughs on what goes on. Opening your lines of communications which can strengthen your relationship. Getting acceptance of your perversions by spreading perversions to her... lol or at least letting her understand and accept them.

 

It would be the same if you were a cross dresser or liked to wear makeup or worship feet or into bondage and other perversions. Some individuals aren't open enough to accept them and thus cannot accept you and perhaps never will. At that point you have a choice. Stop with the gaming or Stop a relationship with her.

You have got sex mods in your game, so what? I guess in every man's (and woman's) life there will come the time to learn that sex is nothing exclusive. And nothing to put a ban on. Would you be ok if she enjoyed looking at (virtual) guys just because of their physical attraction?  I hope so.

 

Some women however fear loss of control over their spouse when the guy is open for external stimuli. If she can't bear you playing sex mods, you should ask yourself how she would react when she sees you watching porn or take a longer look at some other girl's bottom. Would you want that for a lifetime?

 

But perhaps she's all cool, who knows? I had several girlfriends that would have given games with sex mods a smile. And with some I even enjoyed watching porn together. If your GF knows you play games on the PC (everyone plays console so that is no big deal) then you have one foot in the door already when it comes to introducing her to your gaming experience.  In your shoes, I would take some tastefully done sexy screen shots.  Use nice poses in a natural setting.  Show her the beauty to the game and the nude mods you're using.  That will soften her up some and if you show her modded armor and clothing compared to vanilla she might understand more.  She is a woman, after all.

Let her get used to the idea, don't spring on her.  Just do a regular gameplay session so she can see what you're up to.  Once she sees she'll probably be more willing to accept.  YOU will know when the time is right to show her the harder adult content you might be using.  Be sure she is at ease.  Go at it with a slight sense of humor.  If you take it lightly she will to.

One final piece of advice, if you love her, don't do things on-line that you couldn't do if she was standing over your shoulder.  Never sneak around.  That breeds distrust.

As long as she has no real sexual issues she should be fine with it. I once had a GF that viewed my looking at a playboy Mag. the same as cheating on her...(Real issues there).

does she complain or elbow you if she catches your eyes travel (if they do). when a girl walks by, is she playful about it or does she go postal about it  ....Depending on how long you've known her I would think you would already know enough about her to know whether she'd be accepting or not. ""Communicate"".<--can't stress that one hard enough. You should already know her likes and dislikes if she's moving in with you. If you don't, maybe it's too soon. Just by the fact that your asking I get the impression this is something that has happened rather quickly or you two don't communicate to well and this side has been hidden. For some, things like this are a real problem if they have self doubt. But like what has already been mentioned, never hide it because it WILL come back to bite you. Moving in with a guy is a big step for any female, take it one thing at a time to make it a smooth transition. don't go letting it all out at once that could make it a bit overwhelming. Maybe choose a romance option or if Skyrim choose one of the marriages and let the skylab do its thing at night... Don't' do any hard core strange perverted things until she is comfortable with you and the gaming situation. NO sex with dead people. definitely no mods that have sex with creatures and such. That would be a No, No.

 

You might have to slowly break her into the ideas. Keep in mind to also take care of her. Take her out to dinner spend time with her and show her that she is the special girl that she is in your life. This can help her grow to trust you and care for you which can help with some of those "dark secrets". Perhaps even set her up some mods for her to play with if she shows an interest. It is likely she might give it a try and play for a while. She might do so just to get a better understanding of you.

 

Treating her like a queen can go a long way to keeping her from getting jellious. If she still has issues. She won't change.

 

Kendo is correct. Don't even try to hide anything from her. Trust me women can sense when a boyfriend is trying to hid something more often than not. Even if it is something minor that she normally wouldn't even give a dam about. She will get so pissed that you didn't confide in her and hid something from her.
