LutherX Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Is the latest SOS supposed to work with Radiant Prostitution now? The patch Radiant-SchlongsPatch.esp doesn't work with the latest version of SOS. I remember reading from the patch's thread that the issue with SOS changing the Tavern Wench outfit was fixed in the latest version of SOS. I'm using the latest version, still get the bug, and can't find that patch's thread to verify that or see if there is a newer patch available. Thanks!
senetheran Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Hello, I'm sorry to be a bother but I've run into a wall and don't know what to do. I'm using the light version of SOS and am for some reason experiencing a lot of trouble with feet textures as you can see in the picture I attached to this post. I installed the mod with NMM, picked the Default, Regular, Hairless version. I got what you can see below. I've tried installing the older versions but then I had trouble with the schlong instead. I tried manual installation, I checked whether I have all necessary files. Everything seems to be in place. In the end, I managed to fix the feet for the vanilla races by combining the newest version with the feet of the previous one but when I move the very same files to the custom races, the feet textures get broken again. Again, I checked all the meshes as to whether they point to the correct location, even tried reassigning them to point to the custom races folders with the Schlong textures. Nothing. Everything else works perfectly. Body and hands textures, animations - no problem. I searched through this thread but I'm at a loss. Any idea what else I could do? I really, really like the SOS Light and I'd rather not replace it. Thank you for reading me and perhaps for an answer. EDIT: I've just come to a sudden realisation that Custom Races probably don't have the textures separated the way Schlongs do... right? Bummer. I wonder if I can do anything about that. Default, Regular, Hairless version should work with vanilla if you use the installer, don't replace any of the provided meshes and textures, and move the esp to the bottom of your load order. For custom races, I think it depends how it's build, what race(s) are giving you troubles? I uninstalled and reinstalled the Default, Hairless, Regular and moved the ESP at the end of my load order as suggested and... magic! I swear I was trying to fix the thing the whole yesterday evening! I'm so.... ahh. Thank you for the advice! The vanilla races now work as they are supposed to. The Custom Races' feet are still a problem, though. I think it's because Schlongs have feet in separate texture files and in Custom Races they are normally part of body textures. I hope what I'm saying makes sense. I thought that it would be enough if the meshes pointed to the right place but it seems that the mod needs more than that. If moved to Custom Races (I've tried Redguards and Dunmer so far.), the feet simply don't get the correct textures and call for the intimate parts textures instead. (I can see the schlong texture on my guy's right foot. Freaky! ) Other than that, good news is that you can use SOS Light with Custom Races, including the console commands for the animations, which still makes me pretty happy. The feet are the only problem and that's pretty awesome to me.

The feet are the only problem and that's pretty awesome to me. Okay! I think I fixed it! I think... What I did is that I opened Custom Races' ESP in the Creation Kit, went to TextureSet and duplicated 00CustomSkinMaleBodyRedguard. I renamed it to 00CustomSkinMaleBodyFeetRedguard and fixed the texture paths there to lead to the proper texture files (malebody_1_feet.dds, malebody_1_msn_feet.dds, malebody_1_feet_sk.dds, malebody_1_feet_s.dds) that I had previously placed into the Data\textures\CustomRaces\CustomRedguard. Then I went to ArmorAddon, opened the 00CustomNakedFeetRedguard and changed the Skin Texture in the dropdown menu to the texture set I had created (00CustomSkinMaleBodyFeetRedguard). Saved and boom! Fixed! Yaaay! I'm sorry to have bothered you with it when I figured it out by myself in the end but perhaps this will be useful for somebody. You can and have to make Custom Races compatible with SOS if the feet textures are to work properly with the Custom Races mod. Perhaps this is laughably easy for some , but it opens a whole world of possibilities for me. Wooo!!!
~~MetaNaito~~ Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 in another update, could you consider making the flaccid state smaller in scale to the erect state? the flaccid state seems too big.
uman2631 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Does anybody know how to make the snow elves (Gelebor and Vurthur in Dawnguard) get a schlong? I did a search and saw some vague references to needing a texture, but not sure if that was ever done. Didnt find anything.
Tiranno_71 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 @b3lisario Hi B3LISARIO, can you add an option to scale/stretch all the textures (PC & NPCS) back of the penis (where there are the hair) to cover the hole that appear (in my case) around the edges of schlong when i wear an armor not designed for standard/bodybuilder type body for SOS?

Didnt find anything. If they are like the other elves, they need its own schlong texture. I do not know anyone who has done them. Try to give them a schlong potion. @b3lisario Hi B3LISARIO, can you add an option to scale/stretch all the textures (PC & NPCS) back of the penis (where there are the hair) to cover the hole that appear (in my case) around the edges of schlong when i wear an armor not designed for standard/bodybuilder type body for SOS? No, I think that's not possible
vincentoroscoe Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Huh...I've changed the slider in the config script and it didn't change anything. Once I can get the mod working again, I'll see if it works for me this time. As for the scripting on the mod I'm working on, I've realized through editing the skeleton nif files that modifying the genitals base alone doesn't seem to do a whole lot; setting the scale to 2 or even 3 gives similar results as the original scale, and I don't know why. On the bone name, would I want the whole thing in every line? I'm thinking not, after the line 8 in the script I'd just be using GenBase...right? As for the mod's script itself, I think it would be easier to have it work on two bones (like the original), as the entire thing is set up like that. I'm not sure how to get the player to say anything, or look either, though that might be due to the problem below; There's also the issue of there being a check on the player's gender in the br_enl1 script file, line 17; I don't know what to change the setting of that to, or to have the mod work regardless of gender, so long as the schlong mod is active. Any ideas on that? When I've reinstalled the mod and everything, I'll take some screenshots to show what I'm talking about if the mentioned problems persist.
Eikichi Onizuka Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Bellisario, I have a question for you.. it is possbile to add or replace the speculae-map textures in the SOS penis ? I would give a more realistic effects are normally expected, such as skin pores, with the mod "Sweaty Body" (UNP or CBBE work well ?), as well as rename the texture file from female to male, in which SOS folder and which texture file should I replace ? Files are textures\actors\character\SOS\*\malegenitals_1_s.dds. But it is not possible to replace them with any of the female ones. I used the texture file (specular-map) femalehands_1_ s.dds from "Sweaty Body" UNP, and renamed to malegenitals_1_s.dds and copied to textures SOS folder this is the result:
vincentoroscoe Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Here, this is what I was talking about with the genbase not doing anything for me when changed; image 4 (00004) was taken with the scale at 1, and image 6 was taken with the scale set to 4. When the game was loading, it showed the genitals much bigger than they originally were, but after the mod had fully loaded they got shrunk to the same size as before. Added a few screenshots of that too. Any ideas on why that happens? It could be part of why my mod's not working. Changing the slider's dialogue range in the SOS config script also does nothing as far as I can see; max percentage the slider can go to stays 300% even if I bump it up to 600%. Not sure how to get the slider to allow me to go past that.
vincentoroscoe Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 ...Nevermind, evidently I can't change ANYTHING in the NIF files and have the mod recognize the changes. Woo. Welp, so much for the 20+ Dragon Essences I'd purchased/looted off of dragons, because it looks like I get to do a -complete- reinstall. v.-.v Edit: That fixed nothing, too. Doesn't matter what I change, or how much, if it's related to SOS the damn mod instantly reverts it. I've got to say I'm getting more than a little angry and frustrated with this, as I now seem to be unable to make any sort of changes to any of the mod files, and uninstalling/reinstalling it doesn't help. Edit 2: Got the changes to the NIF files to work after a few more reinstalls, but the second I put clothes on, I'm stuck with perma undies until I restart the mod, and if I do that, change the shape, or anything else with the mod settings, it instantly reverts to the standard sizes. Any idea why that happens or how to fix it? I'm at a loss, here.
tm2dragon Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Quick bug I've noticed........all the males appear to have a small, thin rectangle of empty space (I can see right through them) hovering in the area of their pubic hair........not quite sure what that's about. I'm using the bodybuilder body type with muscular schlongs if that helps.

Hi, i use your same settings for S.o.S. but this issue appears when I try to use an armor or cloth not designed for this type of body. The only revealling armors that fit without issue/clipping are the B3lisario one, There are just a few items/armors/clothes equippable for bodybuilder type body lovers.... very very poor variety
KestrelSky Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Just wanted to pop by and say I love the update for changing schlong type and size in the MCM menu, sooooo much easier.

Any idea why that happens or how to fix it? I'm at a loss, here. I have two answers, both depend on which mods of the SoS Framework you have. If the schlong is reverting to a smaller size, either you have SoS Full (which rewrite the .nif specs everytime it refreshes) or you're using the Sos Racemenu Plugin (which lock the .nif sizes to the ones you adjust in-game).
b3lisario Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Do you enjoy using the SOS potions? What should I do with them? - Schlong potions (change schlong type): not as useful as before. They don't serve to schlongify custom races or followers for the first time. That's because a change I made to the SOS scripts hoping to remove restrain from the game. This feature is fully covered in the new SOS submenu (currently only in the beta). Note that MCM didn't exist when SOS was being developed. The potion still works for already schlonged characters (vanilla or custom): it changes the schlong to the characters, and makes appear the "change schlong" dialog line when you have one of these potions in your inventory The benefits of removing this potion would be less code in the scripts. - Mandrake potion (viagra-like). It had more sense when SOS was released: the erection spell was almost the only method to get a boner, and is scripted to go flaccid after a while (erection time is based on the character's level). This is realistic, immersive and so, but is not practical if you just want to take screenshoots, use sexlab, or simply you like to be unrealistic. A lot of stuff has changed since SOS release: there are other mods who bend the schlong (SL & SL aroused, racemenu), the bending keys now work outside the erection spell effect (and in this case the erection effect doesn't wear off after a while). So I really doubt anybody uses the mandrake potions. Maybe someone roleplays a grandpa dragonborn with erection problems, who knows. - Size potions: still useful if you like the farming mechanism (kill dragons to improve your schlong). This feature is fully covered in the new SOS submenu (currently only in the beta). Finally if there are no SOS potions, there is no justification for the SOS shop. Personally I don't care the shop, I have no mods that modify Riverwood so I have no conflicts, it doesn't break my immersion. The shop and vendor names are funny. This could be an optional esp file.
Uriel Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I beleive only the farming mechanism deserves to remain in the mod. Other stuff look deprecated. Shop could be a fun separate addon, i totally agree with it.
Setekh Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I agree with many of the potions being redundant now. - I used to use the mandrake potions for animation scenes but like you said, there's no real need for it any more. - Schlong types, as you said, no need for the potions now, can set it in mcm. - Size potions I no longer really care about, I set up my character at the start of the game with the size of schlong that I want then I never touch it again for the rest of the play through. It's a good farming mechanic for those that want to play that minigame though, I'd recommend keeping them. - I would VERY much like to see the shop and NPC removed from the base mod and be available as a separate esp for those that want it. But that's just me. I think a lot of the potions are holdovers from when the mod was first created, because back then it was the only way to proc certain effects. (Remember the 'amulet of phalos' anyone?) Early versions of SOS were made before even the MCM menu was available.
srayesmanll Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Frankly I started to console the size potions (for some reason, dragons have become really sparse in my game) and the shape change potions. The new MCM is fantastic for this, so in my opion dropping the potions would be fine. As for the shop, without the potions the shop is fairly useless. However, there are a couple mods (1 for sure, but I seem to remember a second) that added to the shop, so removing might break those mods. The one I remember off-hand was the "protective undies" mod ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38760/? ). Liked the mod, but the underwear stopped automatically being removed (sure it had to do with sexlab changing from using the spell for the erections to the SOS APIs to handle erection). That mod adds the underwear to the shop's sales leveled list, so it's possible removing might break that mod. Making the shop optional would be a good balance.
icapricorn Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 The betas never work for me. I’ve tried out several, including the recent one, #19, but always go back to 2.04.011. I follow the recommended procedure before installing, Go to a small room, no npcs, wait several minutes in real time, but I always get underwear on npcs, despite having “schlongify all npcs” set. And when I go to the page for the player character, I’m told he has no schlong (though he does) and the setting is greyed out at one. My 4 male followers (via AFT) do not show up in the accompanying panel. I thought perhaps this was because I use the Xbox 360 controller. So I went into the game with keyboard and mouse. I clicked on my Redguard follower, a hunky guy named Gorr (from Interesting NPCs), as well as the others. Only Gorr showed up in the panel and he too was tagged as having no schlong (he does) and a greyed-out setting of 1. I keep waiting for someone else to mention this issue. But as no one has, I must assume it’s something I’m doing wrong. I install the beta with Nexus Mod Manager (after first uninstalling 2.04) with all the schlong plugins checked. After which, my male followers retain their puny schlongs, while that slutty guy who’s always hanging out at the general store in Whiterun in his Aoki Revealing armor, that guy suddenly gets bashful. He wears bikini underwear! (Red, of course. Some things never change.) Any suggestions?

Read mod description, troubleshooting section. Or maybe PapyrusUtil is not properly installed (this should produce warning popups) If is not that, use the debug spell and post a papyrus log just after installing the beta The character selection for the NPC panel works like the bending keys: approach the NPC until you see the "E" activation cursor and then open the MCM menu
Suludi Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Please keep the size potion! I started a male char today and tried SOS for the first time, and it's hilarious. He started with size 1, and when he looted the first size potion from his first dragon, a whole new universe opened up before him. He couldn't care less about that pathetic dovahkiin business but SIZE POTIONS!!!! He's now the most dedicated dragon hunter EVAR.
EternalDamned Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 To "fix" the tavern wench outfit issue with Radiant Prostitution. All you need to do is open both in TES5Edit, add SoSCore.esm as master for RP. Then add the keyword SoSConcealing to the tavernwench clothes or you can change it to revealing like I always do I like my prostitutes to be horny exhibitionists..what can I say. @B3lisario Have you ever considered moving the factions into the core.esm? That would allow people to assign specific schlongs to people through CK. That way no need to give someone a potion to have the female have a UNP schlong, or give Nazeem a size 1 smurf etc. Oh and incidentally, I don't know if you ever saw my post in the UNP schlong topic. But works just fine if you merge all 5 esp's and the core esm. Even the menu worked perfectly.
Heldenbrand Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Had a quick question: finally got around to reinstalling Skyrim (with Mod Organizer, which I can't believe I hadn't tried before), and was testing everything in Helgen before setting out, and I noticed that, when using Moonlight Tales, NPC werewolves seem to be sadly lacking in manliness (wolfmanliness ... ? The player werewolf works just fine BTW, especially with Mighty Werewolves) I'm not surprised at their absence, since I know Moonlight Tales uses a separate directory for its werewolf models, but I was wondering if there was some way to get SOS to play with that mod, or if I should instead use another mod to schlongify them.BTW, impressed with the mod's development; it's come a long way in the few months since I put Skyrim on hold.

I assume the info is there. Since I use the Xbox 360 controller, I don't see an "E". I do see the character's name and a cursor star. However if that was the only problem, I would set up my followers by going into the game with mouse and keyboard. I will try again and report back.
