Hi Vel!

Recently CD gave me more and more trouble (had the lookup failure and device equipping issues), so I decided to reinstall CD. That didn't work sadly, because NMM absolutely refused to uninstall the 4.08 update. Kept crashing with a "access to path denied" error. Because I couldn't fix that, I had to reinstall everything. I even thought of installing at a not-UAC governed path.

So now I am sitting here with a shiny and new Skyrim + mods installation. CD is 4.05 with the 4.08 patch. Still some issues:

 

- The "Start slavery" option in the MCM does not work. What happens is that I end up on the ship for a second, get a loading screen and then I am back inside the LAL cell with a yoke on me. It does not matter if the expansion is finished via MCM or not or if I use the array fix button first or not.

Whoops, my bad, didn't know that about LAL.

- If I start the slavery via the LAL dialogue, it works, but I get transported to a test cell that has a Riekling inside first. After a second or so, it's onwards to the ship.

- As far as I can see, this only partly fixed the equipping devices issue. I started the "in debt slavery". My preferences were silver finish and I got a black collar + belt.

- When I asked for a job, the plug inside the belt was unequipped. No messages on screen, just the unequipping sound. I reloaded to make sure, it happened again.

 

Edit: sorry about the triple whammy, I deleted the extras now. I had some very strange issues while posting earlier.

How did you got sent to the mine? Was it voluntary? If so, try to speak to the overseer. If it is a punishment, you'll be locked inside the mine for a while.

Yes it is voluntary but there is no supervisor this is the problem.

This is a LAL feature. Start your journey then trigger the MCM slavery.

 

LAL make it so you cannot leave that initial cell unless by another means that LAL itself. If you did, you'd break the game or many vanilla quests.

I found to work, it is done but once my pay taken I can more out of the mine no guard is present to open the door. It must be a problem

Did you try pulling on the chain near the gate? It's on the right side, just before the short tunnel. That should trigger the guard to let you out.

Yes I shot the chain but nobody comes. At the same time when I come in there is no guard next door in the mine that may be the problem.
 
For info I forced the creation of the manor and I did not wait for it to be built alone

hello everyone i need help. i'm stuck in thalmor embassy after they left me hanged on they talk about a dwarven milk machine but there nothing there and after dialogue all npc are stuck the quest dosen't advance

 

 

The problem I had once again, if necessary again after your last save try again, and or enable and disable player controls, or maybe wait one hour or two there.

Found an issue: when a dark red metal theme is choosed Master still equips simple red metal items on character. Choosing other metal themes works fine though.

 

Yes, the red ones are the problem at me too,.. I try now with Black Leather! :D

Whereby CGi once said to me, I should first let the fingers of changes on the devices.

Currently doing the Property Slave Quest. Raccan just came and had me follow him from the cage in the mines to the Barracks. He shows me my cot in the basement. I comment that at least the bed is no longer on the floor. He tells me I may get real bed later if I don't screw up. He dresses me in boots and tunic. He then takes me to Smithy. Once we reach Smithy basement, he proceeds to repeat conversation about bed in barracks word for word. I reply the same way. He redresses me in boots and tunic. He then retakes me to Smithy Basement. Somehow. Seeing as we never left. Dezra is now there. They have conversation about how Master saved their lives and that's why she's such a perfectionist. Raccan leaves. Dezra gives me a small tour of basement and tells me what I need to do. I tell her I have no questions. She dresses me in Blacksmith clothes and boots and bids me to get to work. I go over to barrel and grab iron ingots. Dezra asks me if I have questions. I can no longer say no. I run through topics until no questions are left. Conversation ends on its own. I go to Anvil to get to work. Hammer disappears out of my hand. Menu for making items closes two seconds later. Dezra asks if I have any questions. All conversation topics exhausted. Conversation ends on its own. I attempt to make objects several times. I have split seconds to create things before menu closes itself. Dezra asks if I have questions every single time. I go to chest to drop off items I've painstakingly crafted through frustration. Dezra asks if I have questions. I go back to barrel to get more ingots. Dezra asks if I have questions. I go back to anvil and have to access it three times to use all ingots to create items. Dezra asks me if I have questions three times. I quicksave, punch Dezra in face, then quickload. Dezra asks if I have questions. I run to the Barracks real fast and sleep for an hour then come back to work. Dezra asks if I have questions. I attempt to punch Dezra to death and die. Game reloads. Dezra asks if I have questions. I walk outside and use "moveto player" on Dezra, then walk back into the Smith basement. Blissful silence. I get to work on anvil with ingots. Hammer still disappears. Menu still closes two seconds later. I make items anyway. I drop items in chest. I go to barrel. I painstakingly craft more items through frustration. I drop items in chest. I go to barrel. I painstakingly craft more item- Game crashes. CTD. Reload save. Dezra asks if I have questions.

 

I look up conversation loop errors for Dezra in this section of property quest online. Only information available is that I must be closing dialogue prematurely. I rerun through all that again, this time taking great pains to not touch anything until at least two minutes have passed and it's obvious Raccan and Dezra are waiting for me to reply, whether my reply is actual words or just "...". No difference from above. 

 

How do I fix this? Can I get past it? I saw that there was a download called Smithy Start of Day Fix.zip, and I downloaded and installed it, but it did nothing.

There should be a guard outside the gate at all times, they operate in shifts. if you were there voluntarily then use the console to move through the gate if pulling the chain inside didn't do anything.

The cell with the reikling is from LAL, usually you don't see it as the fade in/out is long enough to cover the move

I will have to check and make sure it is set up to use your preferences, there are some instances that you don't get to choose

I will have to check this, if you already had a CD belt then it should have skipped any of the device changes

I'm doing the Property Slavery, and I have to go to the Lighthouse near of Solitude, but when I come near of it (near means a long distance, it looks like there's a big circle around the LH) I have a CTD. I tried fast travel, going by myself, coming by sea or earth, same problem each time.

If you are using the latest version of DD and use the CBBE body there should be a patch for the corset bodyslide files as the ones in the main file will cause a crash when the corset is used (it is used there).

Assets was updated to include it I believe, I had to download v3.0d as the last version I had was v3.0c which I downloaded no too long ago.

Hrm I'm having some weird glitches going on. Came back to skyrim since my last break (Last time I didn't have any problems like these, not sure what changed.)

When I'm about to get belted before a delivery mission, the game wont add a belt, just a collar and its a wrong one.. not a captured dreams shop one. Sometimes I get the error that it cannot equip two collars thus leaving me with a wrong one, which is not even in my inventory. Though with showinventory I can see it, and remove it. None of this happens when I'm using the harness instead of padded belt with open back.

So when it fails to add a belt, Master keeps repeating "Hold still" << May repeat >>

 

Second thing is, most of my scenes seem to break after I get into the animation where I'm hanging from the ceiling, happened in Thalmor Embassy, and now I'm stuck after I failed to deliver on time. Master tells me to go in front of the display case and face her, Herran comes and I get into hanging from the ceiling position, sometimes he fails to add/remove items (I also have weird DD items that have no name and are not in my inventory, they're just shown in showinventory, but I don't have em upon starting a scene) sometime he does though thats about it, its where the scene ends for me. After that I cannot load game or do anything, even after I break the hanging from the ceiling animation

 

My mods are up to date, I just installed skyrim few days ago.

Quick edit - After being late for a delivery, the guy that received the package was pissed and added a gag, but the gag isn't worn, I'm wearing a completely different gag that has no name (Just an ID) so he added two gags, one that is properly shown in my inventory (CD ring harness) which I'm not wearing. The other one has no ID, isn't shown in my inventory and I'm wearing it.

Whenever I remove the unnamed gag with console command and try to wear the captured dreams gag in my inventory it just wears the unnamed gag again >.<

The reason the dialogue stops is it is waiting for the belt to be equipped, it is set to loop until the conditions in the dialogue find it.

 

Are you using v4.08? v4.05 used a different system for equipping devices and was prone to breaking and would equip a harness then a collar which broke the harness, v4.08 doesn't do that. If you are using v4.08 please provide a log from a session when it happens so I can see what is going on (upload the file).

Make sure you have the update installed for ZAZ Animation as v6.10 broke the bound idles. As with the belt issue above, if you have issues with devices equipping please provide a log from the session so I can see what DD is doing. The unnamed items are part of the DD items, each is made up of 2 parts; the one shown in your inventory which is named and the one that shows on your character which is unnamed.

So patching ZaZ actually fixed the progression of that quest. Tho once Master decided to give me some time to reflect my mistakes, and dressed me up nicely she added that new metal hood from heretical resources, plus a blindfold, and theres a chain that hangs from my buttplug and goes thru my hobble dress. Isn't that overkill? Did I broke something again?

 

Edit : Adding papyrus log, I keep getting CTD when I pay with credit, she then adds collar and belt, then I crash when she removes the restraints from the punishment
