Status update-

- Punishment system is finished but I still have to finish my tests to make sure the last of it works

- Finishing up the Manor Slave portion of the Property Slave section, this is the last part of Property Slave that needs done. Testing to follow.

- Changes have been made to the Embassy quest, will be either a punishment or offered to submissive characters. This quest can also be disabled entirely.

- Task Manager has been built. This controls when the different quests are available from Master.

 

 

Things to do still-

- Adjustments to other 3 expansion quests (should not take much to do) and set Task Manager to control when they are available

- Some minor things for Relationship Slave, mostly some dialogue and some minor things to do.

- Build additional quest devices to use

- Make changes on how followers are handled during some quests

- Content for handling of some new Manor Basement residents

 

 

There is still a good amount of dialogue that needs added and adjusting. The current content has been undergoing some beta testing by a few people and I have had minimal reports of issues on the new content so far. Once I have finalized the content the full beta testing will start during which I will be completing the dialogue.


So, where do I sign up for the beta? :D

This is a nice change in my opinion. I personally disliked all the rape that came with that quest, which have prevented me from going through the Captured Dreams quests on any of my characters, as it made me dread going through all that crap again.

 

So, since you are making it so that quest can disabled, I am guessing that there'll still be a way to progress through the quest line? There's no other rape heavy quests after the Embassy is there?

 

There's just one other thing I want to know: WHEN IS IT COMING OUT!? I want to know when I can install Captured Dreams again! :P

 

Just kidding, but I am looking forward to the new version.

Hi,

I very much enjoyed CD Quest02. This sole quest gave a significant portion of why I liked the mod. A very gentle and submissive quest. The last, third, stop in this quest was at the end of stage 430, where after the words "Let's have us drink and char" or something, the game did not proceed. I assume that next, some Lady Z should have said something and the "drinking" animation of the main character should have fired. I think it was the drinking animation, which might be the problem. No "setstage" command worked, except setstage to 500, but it was veery glitchy. Finally, I had to reload about 7 times so it would pass this scene correctly. After that, until the end of the quest everything was perfect.

PS. May I also suggest removing chastity bras from the Assistant outfits, female miner outfits, as well as female guard outfits. This will solve a lot of visual clipping issues ugliness for different bodies and clothes. Harnesses work perfectly. Belts also work, but harnesses are the best. I ended up doing so with tes5edit in all leveled lists and separate outfits.

 

And maybe also do something about it with Nenya and Elisif...

The 4 quests that are currently a mandatory part of the expansion will now be independent of the expansion of the shop. All 4 of the quests can be disabled along with every other quest except the basic punishments (if you don't want those then don't earn them). The expansion itself will also be able to be set to the completed state without waiting in the MCM.

If the setstage command didn't work well then the issue was in the scene, likely an actor that didn't want to finish their part of it.

Devices placed on npc's are being reduced to a belt and collar for most all of the slaves, the exceptions are the shop display slaves and the maids (no bra on them though, just cuffs and boots). Also, other than the shop display slaves all devices used other than belts and plugs are non scripted items (non locking) to help reduce script load in the area of the shop. As for Nenya and Elisif I will see what I can do with them.

I must say , the thalmor embassy quest (despite having to use the setstage command a few times) was an absolute blast. 

 

truely a magnificent mod!

 

 

 

i am really anticipating where this mod will go next and how the becoming a fully fledged slave will pan out.

I received the package, but the quest continues in part to talk with the Master to accept the mission ... but nothing happens when I talk to her.

I think not advanced stage.

If the stage is between 10 and 400 then reset it in the MCM or use setstage cdxconfiscation 500 to reset it

 

If that was not the issue then check this:

In the console:   sqv cdxexpquest01

If you have read the letter you received from the courier (you have to read it) then the stage will be 25

If the stage is 25 do the console command again and look for the Alias of Current Jarl, if it says None then it did not start correctly. Unfortunately there is not reset set up for this quest and without that alias it will not work properly.

Hello, so I have a question. I was testing various items and equipped the chastity rings. I then forgot I had them equipped for about an hour. Now I cannot remove them as it says "the harness you are wearnig prevents them from being removed". This is in spite of the fact that I do not infact HAVE anything else equipped. How do I remove them?

There is an issue with them. If you are not using a mod that can remove general devices you can do it in the console:

 

Remove everything you can from your character and put it in a container, it will make things easier.

Go into the console and select your character and type showinventory

Scroll through your inventory and look for an item that shows as 'worn' and has no name. The first 2 digits of the ID will be the same as other CD items, ignore the item ending in 40F0C

use Player.removeitem(ItemID, 1) to remove the visual part of the rings.

close the console and open your inventory and unequip the rings.

Well thank you. Oddly enough, when stashing I accidentally clicked the rings. The message to use tool, force, or carry popped up. Knowing that it wouldn't work, I chose carry on.... and the damn things unequipped and went into the chest. So... I donno.... Anyway, thanks.

 

By the way, I had a question, Will it be possible to just upgrade to v4 when its released? Since so much is being changed I had my doubts but I thoughts I'd ask.

Will it be possible to set some variables/attributes or likes/dislikes at game start (as in the actual version for submissiveness)? Of course not all the way down to max ...

I'm thinking especially of the likes/dislikes pain or humilation aspects ...

There has been a lot of changes so it won't be a simple install over the old version. I think process will be to use the uninstall option in the MCM menu, do a clean save with it uninstalled then install the new version. There is a chance though that is will require a new game as there are about 8 quests so far that have been rebuilt and removed.

Yes though the 5 traits that have a range of 1 - 7 will rarely change once set.
