I'm a bit confused, as like I said I'm 99 99/100 positive I have all the required animations? The last time it happened was with the Mage dream and a Kahjit, where it's the drinking challenge and they talk about not being able to take the Kajhit barbed penis? The only reason I say I'm 99 and 99/100 positive I have all the animations is because in the requirements it calls for Funnybiz SLAL pack, but that's been reuploaded and renamed to MYSLALPACK. Or is there still a separate funnybiz pack I'm not using? Thanks in advance for any information. On 10/15/2024 at 6:38 AM, Donuts4me said: Strange... I just started having the same problem. Normally that dream works fine for me but I went to test it after seeing your post. On my first attempt, it did end up working, but it took a little longer than usual to get started. I looked at my loaded animations list and did not see any Funnybiz animations included even though I have those packs. This might be because Funnybiz usually has rough/forced animations and this dream is pretty laid back and consensual. I see animations coming from Billyy, Nibbles, NCK30, Anubs, Ayasato and a few others. But I don't think the animation packs have anything to do with the problem. On my second try to see if it would start faster, I wound up being able to run around for like a minute while J'zargo kept putting up his hands like he was about to start casting shock spells. Then I got kicked out and got two consecutive error messages that my scene didn't work and Brelyna's scene didn't work. On my third attempt, I got the error message immediately upon entering the dream and got kicked out. Although it seems this was all just temporary. I quit and reloaded the same quicksave I started with and tried again. I just did three more tests and each one started quick and played out just fine. Just reload your game and test it again. It might fix it for you just like with me. I hardly ever have this problem. Strange it only happened IMMEDIATELY after I saw your post. weird, do you get "cant start animation with actors and player" or "cant start animation with <someone without the player>"? On 10/15/2024 at 10:34 PM, lavatube said: So far, it seems to work pretty well. However, a few things I've noticed: - The vampire group animations don't work. The one with me and the vampire pets animates fine, but the animations for the other pairs of people having fun don't animate. They're in position overlapping eachother, and seem to be in a scene, but they're not animating. This could just be an issue with my particular setup though. - Slight conflict with Dangerous Nights 2: DN2 will trigger when you're in a dream spawning bandits in the teleported location. I suggest disabling DN2 if using Fever Dreams. I presume any other mod which injects a sex scene after sleep (there are quite a few which add companion sex scenes) would run into a similar issue. - No way to disable Fever Dreams?: Is there a way to remove the Fever Dreams curse? Maybe you could visit a priest or something? Maybe if you couldn't afford the permanent cure, you could craft a "pleasant dreams" potion or performing some task to appease the gods. It looks like if you have Vaermina's staff, it'll absorb some dreams, which is kinda in that direction. I think the only way now to stop dreams completely is to set the ability to wake up at 100% or disable every individual dream manually in debug mode. Also, ya know, with a few tweaks Fever Dreams could become Dangerous Nights 3, if the beasts had ambushed you in situ, though that obviously wouldn't work for the larger beasts when sleeping in an inn. - Slight conflict with auto-saver: I had my auto-saver create a save within a dream. A later death reverted me to some white space, which I presume was a misloaded dream space. Eventually, the dream kicked me out to the real world. I'm not sure if you can temporarily block saving while I'll add a master switch to halt dreams in the new version. Also regarding DN2/auto-saver, does it help to set up a positive value in the "dream delay" MCM option? It will delay the time after sleep that "fever dreams" will start its script Edited October 17, 2024 by goonerbomzh

nunyabidnez Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 "weird, do you get "cant start animation with actors and player" or "cant start animation with <someone without the player>"?" @goonerbomzh, I'll have to see if I can recreate it again to get the exact message. I want to say it's most similar to the "Can't start animation with actors and player", but that's not the exact wording, I think.
nilead Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Really nice flavour mod. Not sure if you would be interested, but https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/26096-deviously-accessible/ has a described dreams feature that has alot of same flavour. Any chance of integration?

What happens when you try to use DN2? Do any creatures/NPCs even show up? What is your % for 'Chance an attacher (should be attacker, but my game shows a spelling error) talks to you'? I keep mine at 90-100%. I find this helps the scene get started quicker. When I don't allow talking the night attackers just sit around for like a minute before an animation randomly gets started. Pretty boring. How long it takes for you might vary depending on what kind of computer you have and your mod setup. I suggest testing on a new game/character. I don't use DN2 with my original character anymore because I screwed something up a long time ago and now my attackers just spawn dead. I think this has something to do with me leaving some attackers behind on multiple occasions only to kill them much later just to get rid of them. Things were never the same after that... Night attackers are supposed to run away and disappear when they leave the area. If they hang around, you have a problem. Don't leave an area until they are gone. If they don't leave on their own, kill them! If you exit your home (or whatever area you killed them in) and then immediately return to see their bodies are still there, you have a problem. I suggest loading an earlier save and try again. These bodies NEED to disappear ASAP. Otherwise DN2 could be ruined forever! This is also the same when waking up from Fever Dreams. If you kill night attackers, then go to sleep with their bodies nearby, have a fever dream, wake up and their bodies are still there, you have a problem. Fever Dreams sent you to a whole new area, so the bodies should disappear when you come back just like exiting and re-entering a building. And again, if you are going to use Fever Dreams and DN2 at the same time, make sure in the FD settings you have Dream delay set to at least 3 seconds. I have found that using just 1 second results in the night attackers still following me into the dream. If I use 2 seconds it could be totally random. 3 seconds guarantees the night attackers stay out. Although everyone uses different computers. So, you might need to experiment a bit like I did. Since you've created a vastly more vivid implementation of similar concept, idea crossed my mind.

But it does explain why I don't have any 'dead bodies' problems 🙂 2: I have removed it from my current long term game. I'll maybe give it another try when I next set up a new game, and I'll certainly revisit your very helpful suggestions then Thanks vm again, tho, for the time and trouble taken to set all that out. Therefore, I think it's safe to leave those records as is (you can change them into blank "" if it bothers you). Since they are not visible from TESEdit, to remove them, some low-level tool will be required that exposes ESP format directly
Donuts4me Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 (edited) I have given 1.1.6 a test and everything is working fine for me except Scholarly visit. I can enter the dream, but before any animations happen I get the error message 'Failed to start animation with player and actors!' The first few times I tried it, the wispmother would approach me, then as we came into contact and it looked like the animation was about to start, I would get the error message and get kicked out. Now the last few times I tried, I can still enter the dream, but I get the message and get kicked out quicker before the wispmother even moves. At first I thought I didn't have any wispmother animations loaded and that was the problem. But I checked my SL Anim Loader lists and saw I have 2. One from Funny Bizness Female Creatures and one from More Nasty Critters. If anyone knows of any packs with more wispmother animations, please let me know! I thought I had more than that and I have a LOT of packs. I tried interacting with wispmothers in the real world and they worked just fine. So, it is definitely something with the dream. I have had no issues with the other 3 new dreams. P.S. Thank you for listening to my requests to put huskies in Cabin in a storm, black skeletons in Mr. Boner, and hulking draugrs in Relic hunter! And sometimes the "bad things" happen over and over. I agree that does sound interesting. Switching different actors in the same dream sounds complicated. But having 2 or more rounds with the same actor(s) before leaving a dream does sound like fun. Especially if the player can choose in the settings menu if they want 1-3+ rounds per dream. More than 3 might be a bit too much in my opinion, but everyone has their own preferences. Some might want the dream to last awhile. This would definitely make sense in your new dream Traitor because you are apparently supposed to masturbate until you just can't anymore. One would think the dragonborn could last more than just one round! EDIT: It might also be a good idea to have a small gap between rounds. Like have the player lying on the ground in an exhausted state for 5-10 seconds like after a Defeat animation. Then the next round starts. As for NPCs just watching/masturbating or doing stuff with other NPCs, they should probably repeat/resume ASAP so they will surely finish everything before the player does. That way the player will never miss the other actors finishing. Then the other actors will be an audience to the dragonborn finishing. Edited October 19, 2024 by Donuts4me
