Fever Dreams - Vaermina's Curse

Now I have another problem:

After installing "go to bed," the dream sequence is no longer triggered.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4224?tab=description

Apparently, "go to bed" overrides the vanilla mechanism for sleeping.

The mod places your avatar on the bed - "sleep" is triggered by the "wait" key (can be varied in the MCM).

Is there a way ("emergency mechanism") to trigger the dream sequence with a console command?

I use Go to Bed as well and do not have that problem. Are you sure you are actually resting and not waiting while on the bed? What does the box say when you press the button/key? Is the button/key you are pressing the same one that is assigned to Sleep in your Go to Bed MCM settings?

Also, did you change any settings in FD that would make dreams no longer happen? Do you have the option checked for Dreams don't repeat and have run out of dreams? Check all your settings to make sure dreams should actually be happening and they are all active/enabled.

Not sure why it would work for me and not you? If you are actually resting and not waiting it should work.

Thanks for this "food for thought" – I already had a suspicion along those lines last night... but it was already quite late for me, and I was very tired.

💖

I had left the setting for the "sleep key" in the mod ("go to bed") at the default setting of "T"... without considering that this key also activates the "wait" function of the vanilla game.

Yes – I should have noticed that, on the one hand, the screen doesn't "darken," and, on the other hand, the window (used to set the time) says "wait."

But now everything is as it should be!

I found this mod by accident, but I decided to give it a try.

The mod is cool overall, but I missed some things, such as:
- Companions
- Silver Hand
- Bards College
- Perhaps something in Elisif's room
- Some dreams related to Housecarls
- Something with Forsworm, e.g. that the PC was kidnapped by Forsworm in order to give them offspring

For whatever reason, afer enabling match creature genders and creature animations, this mod still isn't working. I'll finish sleeping, and then when the scene is supposed to start, I'll get the black screen and message box about the scene's context, and then I'll see my character start an unrelated sexlab animation as they fly out of the dwelling, and I get the message about: "Failed to start animation! No actors and variation! (Variation=0)"
Anyone ever encountered this before?

Hello. I tried Dangerous Night 2 before, but it didn't work properly. I've been searching for similar mods, so I became interested your Vaermina's Curse. Currently, it appears dozens of dreams (animations) are available, but could this be because you need to write the story in the pop-up message? As a suggestion, Why not just remove the pop-up stories altogether? Instead, by allowing users to set animation tags for the want watch dreams in MCM, we can watch over 1,000 dreams. Plus, you save the time and effort of coming up with stories, and I save the time and effort of translating that into japanese (lol).

PS. I think it would be interesting could we setup NPCs that appear in dreams. For example, Elisif being raped by Ulfric, Delphine being tortured by the Thalmor, Who died in the quest NPCs, Susanna and Miraak appear in dreams.

Just wanted to say that I am still alive and well, just don't get as much time to mod as I used to (and need to sort out my setup again for modding). Hopefully will get more time for it in the future for small tweaks and such.

For me the Fill Her Up thing is a feature, but I suppose it does make sense to have an optional patch to block inflation.

yeah is kind of silly if you wake up inflated after a dream or nightmare but hey free cum ingredients after every night of sleep isn't so bad

I was wondering what the permissions were regarding making patches? I've been thinking of experimenting with adult mods, and sometimes it's easier to start with something already made as a base and expand upon it.

Feel free to make any patches or modifications. Just link to the original mod
