Fun concept. I like it. However, the first time the dream triggered was when I was a slave on the Red Wave. The slavery mod detected my teleport and started fining me. Oopsy! Also the Pheremones mod threatened to start spawning critters to join in the fun. Ha ha. Ah the fun of a busy load order.

Absolutely! It's your mod. You do whatever you want. I'm just trying to come up with a list of creatures you have not covered yet and where they might be. You decide on the final locations, the stories and the variations.

 

If you are going to do a cold/ice themed dream, be sure to have it in an indoor location like a cave because some players use survival mode and having sex in the snow does not actually increase warmth. Or, if you could find a way to disable cold/survival while in the dream I guess you could have dreams taking place outdoors in the snow. But caves would probably be the easiest for you.

 

Other creatures that you haven't covered and I didn't already mention include:

 

- Boars. There are the boars that are on their own as well as the ones that have Riekling riders. Both variations have their own animations. Maybe you could add the riders to the Pet on a leash dream and then have another dream for just boars alone?

- Werebears

- Horkers

- Mudcrabs

- Slaughterfish

- Farm animals like chickens and cows

- Outdoor critters like rabbits and foxes

- Chaurus Reapers (the bigger Chaurus). You could just add this one to Pitch black dream to go with the smaller Chaurus and the Chaurus Hunter.

- Husky dogs. There are the armored ones and the ones with no armor. The armored ones are easy to find because they are just in Fort Dawnguard. The ones with no armor are extremely rare. So, I think you should go with the ones with no armor if you ever decide to use them. Maybe you could just add it to Cabin in a storm? There are SL animations for interacting with three dogs at once. Maybe you could add 2 more variations to this dream. One with just the husky and another is a foursome with the dog, the wolf and the husky.

- There are two types of gargoyles in Skyrim. The white/gray one that you already use in Blood bond. And there is also the green gargoyle. You could add this as another variation in Blood bond or use it if you ever come up with a whole other dream involving gargoyles.

- The hulking draugr. Just a variation of draugr. You could add this to Relic hunter or use them if you ever come up with more dreams involving draugr.

- Black skeletons. The kind you see in the Soul Cairn in the Dawnguard expansion. You could add these as a variation to Mr. Boner (love that name haha) or use them in a new dream.

- A brown bear. You've got a black cave bear in Pheromones but that of course makes sense because that is a cave dream. If doing an outdoors creature dream, consider using a brown outdoors bear.

 

Whew! I think that's everything. Again, these are just suggestions. Don't do anything you don't want to do! I'm using the lists from the mod Sexlab Achievement to see all the different kinds of actors a player can engage with. But even that list was missing a few things like the Mudcrabs or Slaughterfish. There might be even more that I have missed. I'll keep a lookout.

 

Keep up the good work! This is quickly becoming my favorite mod!

Exhibitionism is interesting.

Regarding major city, I am conflicted about it for some time. The way the mod works is that I duplicate a location, and the dream happens there. If I include a major city location, which has very popular overhaul mods, it might introduce a soft incompatibility with many mod setups, as the dream will look like the old version of the city. Of course, texture replacements will work, but city overhauls that place objects will not carry over into the dreams.

Probably the first type of integration i should do with other mods is some kind of compatibility patch. This possibly can be achieved in two ways

1) I should have some kind of global variable/faction/keyword that signals that the player is currently in a dream. Then, a patch should be made to other mods to not trigger if they see this signal. This type of solution should be applied to mods like pheromones

2) My mod should detect when it's not allowed to teleport the player. Therefore, this will not require an external patch to another mod. This type of solution should be applied to mods like the red wave.

I stayed away from it because there are mods that overhaul the daedric artifacts, so I didn't want to introduce an incompatibility. I will look into whether it's possible to do it in a widely compatible way via some kind of perk.

Been out of town for a few days so I don't know if these are like any of the new scenarios. I have a few ideas for non-creature dreams:

• Spoiler

  • Arch-Whore: "You always loved magic and were thrilled when you got into the college so easily! They even offered to let you stay for free if you assisted Drevis's research. Unbeknownst to you Drevis has been dominating your mind and the school staff has been using you for their own entertainment. You never remember all the debauchery, you just know that whenever you fall asleep on College grounds your dreams are so lurid." This could take place on a copied college area with copied NPCs and a few generic wizard NPCs. Could be fun for some gangbang animations.
  • Recruitment Drive: "You signed up to do your part for the war! The Imperials/Stormcloaks need more people volunteering! You offered to help anyway you could and they reassigned you to the Recruitment Whores Unit just like you hoped! Everyday troops line up to use you freely and citizens who use you are enlisted! You've already decided that even if the war ends you are going to go career!" A fun war dream. Alpia has some great full body slave tats for both sides. Lots of genereic troopers or random villagers.
  • Soulgem Oven: "Has it been weeks or months since your capture? This wizard has been impregnating your body with soulgems for the entire time. Making stronger and stronger enchanted gear for himself and making escape seem more and more impossible. You just birthed another collection of soulgems for him, now its time to start the next batch..." Another spooky wizard themed dream, must be because of halloween.
  • Melons: "You love working at this restrautant! Melons's customers are friendly, love your enthusiasm, and request you by name! Every table you serve always orders the All-You-Can-Swallow Buffet so you've gotten great at Handjobs, Blowjobs, Deepthroating, Titty-Fucking, and Throat-Fucking! Once their food gets there you like to keep working under the table to make sure they leave a big tip :P" Just a silly Hooters themed idea I thought of just now. There are plenty of taverns that can be copied to use for a location.
  • The Dragoncuck: "You've been married for weeks now but you haven't been allowed to touch your spouse since the disappointing night of your marriage. You couldn't please your spouse properly and they yelled outside for volunteers to showcase how to properly please someone. Your reputation has been completely destroyed, but watching your spouse be happy is enough for you. Sometimes they'll even allow you masturbate while you watch instead of forcing you to keep your hands at your sides while you cum watching someone else pleasure your spouse." I'll be honest, I don't know if Skyrim even tracks your spouse so I don't know how a copy could be made. It could just be a generic dream spouse, I guess.
  • Mother of Dragons: "It's been years since you felled Alduin and you still haven't produced an heir! Worried that the dragon's blood might be lost, the Jarls have declared a law that you must mate with anyone that demands it. Anytime you enter a city now, you are bred by damn near the whole city. You hope you get an heir soon, before the Jarls do something even more drastic..." I'm just picturing all those r34 pictures of a girl in the iron helm getting fucked in town for this one.

Not a dumb question if you have never used this mod before. Just know you should only ever need one file at a time. Whatever was uploaded most recently. Sometimes it is a whole new version. Other times it is a hotfix meant to correct errors on the latest version. The hotfixes have everything that was found on the original file.

I thought of a few more fun scenarios. These ones are a bit longer so they might need to be trimmed down or have a second message box. I used some old ideas that wrote down when working on my tattoo pack that I couldn't make work.

It would take a LONG time to describe everything in each dream.

 

If you want to know what creatures are in each dream on the creature list, go to the settings and untick the box for 'Hide MCM Spoilers' and then you can see what creatures are in each dream when you are selecting what dreams are active. If you see more than one creature type in the description, that means it could be random and you wind up with something different whenever you re-enter the same dream.

So, I have all the required animations installed, but on at least two occasions now I've had the dream sequence terminate immediately as the scene renders and I get an error message saying there were no available animations, or something along those lines?  I'm a bit confused, as like I said I'm 99 99/100 positive I have all the required animations?  The last time it happened was with the Mage dream and a Kahjit, where it's the drinking challenge and they talk about not being able to take the Kajhit barbed penis?  The only reason I say  I'm 99 and 99/100 positive I have all the animations is because in the requirements it calls for Funnybiz SLAL pack, but that's been reuploaded and renamed to MYSLALPACK.  Or is there still a separate funnybiz pack I'm not using?  Thanks in advance for any information.

Strange... I just started having the same problem. Normally that dream works fine for me but I went to test it after seeing your post.

 

On my first attempt, it did end up working, but it took a little longer than usual to get started. I looked at my loaded animations list and did not see any Funnybiz animations included even though I have those packs. This might be because Funnybiz usually has rough/forced animations and this dream is pretty laid back and consensual. I see animations coming from Billyy, Nibbles, NCK30, Anubs, Ayasato and a few others. But I don't think the animation packs have anything to do with the problem.

 

On my second try to see if it would start faster, I wound up being able to run around for like a minute while J'zargo kept putting up his hands like he was about to start casting shock spells. Then I got kicked out and got two consecutive error messages that my scene didn't work and Brelyna's scene didn't work.

 

On my third attempt, I got the error message immediately upon entering the dream and got kicked out.

 

Although it seems this was all just temporary. I quit and reloaded the same quicksave I started with and tried again. I just did three more tests and each one started quick and played out just fine.

 

Just reload your game and test it again. It might fix it for you just like with me. I hardly ever have this problem. Strange it only happened IMMEDIATELY after I saw your post.

So far, it seems to work pretty well. However, a few things I've noticed:  

- The vampire group animations don't work. The one with me and the vampire pets animates fine, but the animations for the other pairs of people having fun don't animate. They're in position overlapping eachother, and seem to be in a scene, but they're not animating. This could just be an issue with my particular setup though. 

- Slight conflict with Dangerous Nights 2: DN2 will trigger when you're in a dream spawning bandits in the teleported location. I suggest disabling DN2 if using Fever Dreams. I presume any other mod which injects a sex scene after sleep (there are quite a few which add companion sex scenes) would run into a similar issue.

- No way to disable Fever Dreams?: Is there a way to remove the Fever Dreams curse? Maybe you could visit a priest or something? Maybe if you couldn't afford the permanent cure, you could craft a "pleasant dreams" potion or performing some task to appease the gods. It looks like if you have Vaermina's staff, it'll absorb some dreams, which is kinda in that direction. I think the only way now to stop dreams completely is to set the ability to wake up at 100% or disable every individual dream manually in debug mode. Also, ya know, with a few tweaks Fever Dreams could become Dangerous Nights 3, if the beasts had ambushed you in situ, though that obviously wouldn't work for the larger beasts when sleeping in an inn. 

- Slight conflict with auto-saver: I had my auto-saver create a save within a dream. A later death reverted me to some white space, which I presume was a misloaded dream space. Eventually, the dream kicked me out to the real world. I'm not sure if you can temporarily block saving while

I use DN2 as well and feel you can use both at the same time without too many issues. Depending on your settings, the chances of both happening at the same time can be pretty slim. Unless of course you have things set so both mods go off pretty much every time you sleep.

 

If you have the DN2 settings set to allow attackers to talk to you when you wake up and they try to talk to you in the dream, just exit the conversation. They won't attack if you don't challenge them and then they will just wind up watching you in your dream without ever trying to talk to you again. UNLESS you move (like to a nearby furniture). Then the night attacker will follow you and try to talk again when they catch up. But as long as you don't move they should stay quiet. A little weird... but some might like having an audience!

 

And even if you don't have the option to have an attacker talk to you when you wake up, it appears FD always seems to have priority over DN2. I have never had a night attacker animation happen in a dream. For me, no matter what, they always just stand around and watch. No interruptions (except maybe talking). When I wake up, they are gone. Unlike SL Kidnapped Redux, where I really need to kill them in order for them to be gone for good. Although this has only happened once or twice for me.

 

If you don't ever want any night attackers in your dream, go to the FD settings and set the Dream Delay to 3 seconds. When you do this, the bandit(s) will be waiting when you wake up in the real world. If you do not have DN2 set to allow attackers to talk to you, there will be a bug and they will just sit around because FD interrupted that animation. However, if you do allow the talking, they will still be ready to follow and talk to you. Or, you can just walk up and talk to them yourself. Then you can continue with DN2 as usual!

 

I keep my talk chance at 90% because I like having a chance to fight off the sleep assaulters. If you wake up and they are not moving, that means they were never going to talk and the animation was interrupted by the fever dream. At this point you should just kill them. They will never leave until you do. At least that is how it works in my game. Allowing them into the dream will get rid of them without a fight.

 

So, no need to disable either one. Just set both of them up in the right ways and you'll be fine!

You can turn off every dream individually. But I agree it would be nice if there were alternate ways. A master on/off switch in the settings would be great. That way when you start using these dreams after you took a break for awhile you don't have to try and remember which ones are which.

I too run DN along with FD and so far have not had any issue.  I do not have mine set to talk first before the attack, but I have the odds of a DN attack set "realistically" low so perhaps it's just been good luck and timing that's kept me from having a conflict?

Just to add to my original post about scenes terminating with the "no actors or animations" error message, I had it just happen with the Ulfric dream, which I'd already experienced previously so I know it does actually work properly.  This time, however, when it kicked me out of the dream and back to "reality", instead of sending me back to where I'd been sleeping it sent me to that mysterious spot about a mile in the sky near Bleakwood Basin, where I immediately fell naked and screaming to my death, lol

OOIC, I have never been able to get DN2 SE 'to work' and I've never ever tracked down why

Go To Bed

Sexlab Survival - Adverse effects from poor sleep in some bed locations etc

Sexy Adventures - Sleep Creep which has no direct intervention and just adds a layer of cum overnight on the player, visible when they wake up
