Curse of Life - Alternate Pregnancy Mod

I found a bug I think, after/during/before (not sure) the Dibella quest, my character has 48 eggs she needs to lay, but her total "size in womb" is like 22 or something... well over the maximum set at 10. Presuming these are all blessed eggs... do they behave differently than other eggs, and ignore the max size in womb limit? Because if not, I was under the impression that once the size in womb reached the limit, it forced the player to lay some eggs to get down below the limit. 

 

It's also been many in-game days, and I've sped up the growth rate as well. Very confused... unless it's a bug.

@Fairwyn - With NPCs being cursed, I've found males get cursed as well. It also looks like if a male and female have sex, they both get cursed at once. Will you be adding a toggle to we can choose which genders can be cursed?

Another oddness - A couple of times, I have seen the notification that a NPC is forced to release eggs. They are in a different location to me, but my character launches the eggs out! In both cases, my character was not cursed. The animations did not occur and I could still move and do things, just spent a few mins launching Charus Eggs all over the place lol

Still having this issue. I raised the growth rate to 10x, waited like... almost a month lol, got to 144 size (48x3), but... nothing. My character is stuck full of eggs. Can we maybe get a debug option to force labor or something? I have milk of empty I could use, but it seems a waste since I've spent all this time carrying these eggs around.

 

I'm also still getting messages from Dibella, but that could be just because she hasn't prayed to any other deities.

Dibella actually seals you.  If you drink an empty milk, it should remove the seal and let you lay the eggs.

Males totally get cursed on purpose, but I can add a toggle for that.  The other bug though, that's... hilarious.  I never tested it with persistent turned on and it's likely the issue.  I'll get that fixed.

That should be all you need.  You'd need to send me a load order and/or a log file.

Cheers, my preference is for males to not get cursed :)

Yeah was funny when the first time I started popping them out. I was in first person, saw some eggs, looted, then got confused when more eggs appeared! :D

Looks like the Oviposition mod was reuploaded, now called OviBody: 

 

Is this re-upload compatible with Curse of Life? Looks like CoL required an additional resource that was in the now-deleted support thread of the original mod?

The required resources are still available. The download for the body and normal maps are split. Making the download smaller for those who want to use Mu Dynamic Normal Map.

 

OviMovement is only available in my Discord server right now because I have yet to hear back from the mod author despite them being active on LL.

So no public redistribution for now.

I saw something on the front page of curse of life about a .json, and also the ovibody resources include separate normalmaps. What is the process for installing these normalmaps, do I need to follow the ovibody instructions, or should I use Mu Dynamic NormalMap? Not sure what the integration is here with CoL, so I'm not sure how to proceed.

If you look closely, you'll see a normalmap bump here in the red circle. This is with the PC emptied of all pregnancies, empty womb etc. with OviBody installed. It looks like CoL is applying the single egg normalmap even when not pregnant. I'd say that when not pregnant the default normal map should be used.

Dunno if I'm quoting right, not too familiar with talking here. Here's the link to Ocreatures. 


It isn't being updated, but neither is Skyrim, and it came out quite recently, works perfectly for me. If possible I'd love for Ostim to work properly with this mod while having Ocreatures. :)

Would it be possible to have auto-recurring pregnancies for eggtypes, such as chaurus eggs? Perhaps a sort of more advanced curse/blessing that keeps repeating until cured? I don't quite see a way to do it as-is where it'll auto-recurse the player, unless I'm missing something somewhere.

Also, really do love the mod so-far! Lots of features for eggs and customization for them. Compatibility with labor animations is an added bonus, too!~

I was working pretty close with Jemel on it and I don't think he'd mind at all if the 0.5 release was reposted.

 

I'll get my link fixed to point to the new resource page for Ovibody.

There's a couple ways in the mod to make this happen.  First, for at least insured longer curses, make sure and check the "Eggs Fill to Max Size" option.  This will cause you to carry as many eggs as possible and often causes repeats when there's an overflow.  Second, check out the "Spoilery Blessing Details" section on the mod page for some items and particular blessings that can extend things along.

New version up with male and npc toggles, a fix for the external version of Enhanced Laying (internal was already fixed so if you had the player laying everyone's eggs either uninstall Enhanced Laying or update it), and a new version of Blessed Quests (read my notes on that >.>).

The .json file is to make SLIF working with Ovibody and is included in the main mod.  The only integration I have with Ovibody  is to manipulate those morphs and it handles the rest.  Ovimove was to make the eggs move around and there's specific code calls the OviMove_Start and OviMove_End events for the player.

I'll take the hit on OviMove and upload my latest version of it since I worked with him to develop the generic api event that my mod hooks into.  If Jemel wants me to remove it, I'll take it down.  It's a little chonky so I have it uploading to my Dropbox.  I'll add it to this mods file lists once it's uploaded.

 

EDIT: It's up now.  Links on the mod page have been updated and a download link added to the mod files.

Hey. Yeah the morphs are all still the same as before. The only difference is the split download and name change to OviBody

Random question. I know that there are sounds for sexlab enabled. Would there be a way to do the same with OStim with the sounds it comes with?  If it's more complicated than the sexlab one then don't worry about it! Wanted to ask just in case.

That's actually something I've been meaning to look into, so thanks for reminding me.  I'll just have to dig into the OStim docs.

Not sure what I've done wrong but the blessed quests wont start, tried praying and carrying an egg, tried looking up the quest stages using the console but nothing seems to start them. The mod shows up in the add item menu, and the temple teleport spells work but the quests dont seem to want to initiate. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure if i understand it well.  The Curse of life will work even if u have installed both sexlab and ostim standalone advanced and just the part about being cursed will be triggered always if it comes to sex ? Or "you want eaither Sexlab or OSTIM, not both" means it wont work with both mods installed

Already did the fill to max size, but I did not know about the overflow repeat. Interesting.

Also, a gameplay in-world way to do it via various means? Awesome! I was looking for a MCM setting such as in Egg Factory or the older eggy mods, not actual gameplay revolving around it!~
