I decided to give this mod a try and the main holdup for me was that it would not equip or unequip all selected devices when entering marked locations. Homes, for example, upon entering would only put on boots (or another single item) from a list of about 7 items. I haven't tried on a new or clean save yet but I like what this mod is attempting to offer and will be keeping a close eye on it. 

 

I may start a new save and test out some of the other functions as well.

 

Edit: Well I tried it again without changing anything and all of a sudden the equip and unequip functions when transitioning into different areas is working just fine, albeit a little slow sometimes.

I've been using this since forever, and never had any issues. There's always a vocal minority with issues, mostly due to user error (Eye Dee Ten Tee errors), and it doesn't help that those with issues rarely provide context nor logs to solve said issues.

 

Assume it's safe until it causes issues.

That is not currently part of this mod. You could try ASF, but Binding is sending an DHLP event when locking you into a device and that SHOULD stop ASF (if not it's a serious shortcoming). The reason being that otherwise other mods (like ASF) could star a scene of their own, which could cause havoc if your dom then tries to free you while another scene plays, etc.

UIextensions are a requirements for lots of mods and work perfectly fine. It's mostly a bunch of scripts, there is no need for them to be updated.
The comments about problems are usually from people using actually outdated mods or mods that are otherwise bugs and blame it on UIExtensions (because if called from such a mod, yes it might be UIExtension who causes the crash, but that's an effect of "trash in, trash out").

That would depend on what version you are upgrading from, if you upgrade from 0.4.32, then yes it is safe, otherwise ... I'm not sure.

i have a strange problem with this package bind_Package_ConversationTargetHoldPosition, it gets randomly assigned to one of my followers even if right now no one is set as dominant but that package just stays forever freezing the follower in place, the follower dont fast travel with me dont move dont fight nothing until i reset its package with console commands.

 

Is this a Bug or should this package get assigned to followers even if no dominat is set and if yes how i can i stop that from happening.

It is a conversation hold. I will go back and check the conditions on it again. It should be gated behind a rule being in place and end when you get 500 units away from the npc or target a different npc.  I will figure it out and post a fix here.  Thanks for letting me know it is still an issue.  I might have fixed it in the 0.5 version I am working on and missed it in the 0.4.x versions.

Anybody else having trouble with saving bondage outfits? I click save outfit in MCM under Bondage Outfits, but it doesn't save it. The dressing room option in player dialogue does not work either...

What version of Binding are you running? There is no save option under Bondage Outfits in 0.4.34 (or 0.4.32 for that matter), the outfits are saved automatically. The only save option is under Backup Settings and is meant to store your defined outfits safely so an update of Binding can't overwrite them and they are also available for import on a new game.

I'm running 0.4.34 and I can't get bound for sleep to work. I'm running Go To Bed, which Binding recognizes in its MCM, I have the no beds rule turned on, and set up a bound for sleep outfit, but if I try to kneel it always say I'm not close enough to the bed and there's no dialogue option about sleeping from my character's master. Is there some step I missed?

Is the "No Bed" rule active? If no, there is the problem, if yes: Where are you trying? Did you try a different bed?

As someone mentioned above, the teleport of the dom to the player is a bit odd, gets in the way much to often (hitting, grabbing, casting etc.).

Using NFF aaaand had no problems before. regards and and thx for the mod !

* Fixed conversational target hold issue (should clear target when crosshair moves to another object / confirmed 256.0 distance check) - added mcm toggle under preferences / gameplay settings to toggle (off by default)

* Conditioned dom teleport - added mcm toggle under preferences / gameplay settings to toggle (off by default)

Okay, nevermind. I figured it out, just had to kneel (not pose) beside the bed, then the dialogue option for sleep came up.

The sleep pose should start it immediately without dialog.  I will see if something is messed up.  Glad the dialog based version is working ok for you in the mean time.

I'm running 0.4.36.7 and there is definitely an option to save outfits manually. One way is by clicking New Bondage Outfit under the Bondage Outfits tab in MCM, and the other is by talking to your Dom and selecting to experiment with new bondage looks. Both of these seem to not be functional. 

 

Of course, I could just be using the mod wrong! I have not been able to figure out how it saves outfits automatically. Whenever I get gagged or bound by the dom, such as with Gagged for Punishment or Bound Sex, I am not equipped with anything...

Is the mod creating a \SKSE\Plugins\StorageUtilData\binding\games folder under your overwrite folder (if using MO2)?

Yes it is. The folder is empty though.

The folder is empty, unfortunately.
