Hey ever thought about limiting the different species to a county smaller kingdom at first? i really love the mod, but it's kinda incredible how fast they took over most realms in my last playthrough

The way it is currently set up is not supposed to be a "take over". It is more that they have allways been among us. I might do a poll on if I should change that.

Yes, that is her character. If you do not use my Futanari mod then her events might not function properly.

Does it lead to serious errors? I have already started a game and I don't want to break it by adding a mod in middle of a playthrough...

I have never played her without that mod on. You will certainly have less content.

A stupid idea on my side, would it be an issue if I were to make a mod to create a new landless ruler that requires your mod?

Also, for character's image, did you use an AI tool? if yes, which one so I can stay consistent.

Yes you could do this, as it would basically be a sub mod at that point. If th quality was good I could let people know it exists on the main page as well.
I use stable diffusion and comfey UI, but as you might notice by looking through the portraits the exact style varies. Experiment with styles until you find one that fits a style I have used which you like the most, then try and only use that for the rest of your generations.

Red triangle means you have done something wrong.
You can open the descriptor with notepad to see where it points. If that doesn't match your mods folder, change it.

can you show me what the correct one looks like? here's eveything in the descriptor.

That's fine. You should also have a .mod file inside your CK3 mods. You need to check the path inside that one. And I can't show you where your own mod file is, thats on your own PC.

okay i think i found my problem i originally extracted the file to my downloads folder then moved it to the mods folder and that seems to have broken it i extracted it directly to my mods folder and that seems to have worked.

 

i was wrong the fix for my was to go into the text file not the descriptor change the path then open the game and that should remove the mod from the modlist then close the game delete the mod and reinstall and then it would work and the pathing would be correct.

btw, Phaze, not sure if you'd know but it's possible to make a race as a separate entity and disconnect it from character traits:

Author of Elf Destiny (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3114064450) somehow managed to do that. Maybe it would ease life for you as well ? Author of the mod is quite responsive on his discord, if you would need to ask him anything. Thought I'd just holler that info to you, just FYI, no pushes or anything :)

I think Elf Destiny uses a modding framework for races. I use the Paradox Species System. I don't see a reason to change.

so sorry if this has been answered as i looked through all 6 pages and couldnt find an answer. but first how do u get Sophita to appear? when starting a new game i didnt see her at all and I dont know if U can get her to appear in a new game where u create your own character.

Second question. Is there a way to fox the portraits of your children from species after they grow up. cause i have 4 grown children but their portrait is still the child portrait from when i first used the set missing portrait command

Edit: Ok so i found Sophita. It seems i might have had the mods in the wrong order as i rearranged them and i found her now. Though im still curious if U cna get her in a game where u dont start as her. As for the portraits i installed better barbershop and from waht I am seeing it seems to replace all the proitrait options with the childrens photo if u set the missing picture for all children. im not sure why this is though. but when i go to look at the photos on the children all of them are the childrens photo but when i look at any other adult in the game the actual photos are there

If you installed the mod Coreectly, Sophita always appears in England even if you are not playing as her. Her children also correctly change portraits once they reach 16. I have never encountered an issue where they remain as children.

I figured out what the issue was. my mod order was wrong so it was causing some stuff to not appear on that front but I figured it out. As for the children portraits that wasnt direcred towards sophita but just in general but I also figured out a work around for that also.
