LOL , you should be able to buy an STD kit at some Docs, or in the Test Trunk in Doc Mitchels Hallway, or alternatively just set the diseases setting to 0 or -1 for a minute and that should clear it up :)

Hi--

I've searched all over' date=' but I can't find where I obtain the textures that will take those big red blocks with exclamation marks on them off anyone using a blindfold or any such thing.

I noticed that with "Some Clothes," everything worked but the blindfold, which created that red block. Based on the description of the items that the one vender in the OS Bunker was selling, I am guessing that these all come from the same source, which did not come bundled with everything else, apparently-- at least for me, somehow.

Just to see if [i']anything[/i] would work and, if so, what, I cheated myself some flamers to trade for one of everything to try. Only one item worked properly. One or two turned me partially invisible, but, the rest created that totally annoying red block around me.

Could someone please tell me how to get those items to appear properly? I suspect that they'll show up later in mods, and they'll be just as screwed-up for me.

Red Diamond Exlamations mean missing meshes, you must be missing a download , look in the dependancies section of the firrst post for anything you've missed.

Thanks for replying--

I knew that the red blocks represented missing files, and I've looked and looked for what I'm missing. The only location that seemed like a likely spot for this file to belong, based on my searches, was this one (which is why I posted this question here). I added another file, which I'm not sure I should have (SexoutCommonResourcesData20120630 as well as SexoutCommonResources2012630)-- the game works with one and with both-- but that didn't fix the problem.

"More Clothes" never stated any requirement for any other file, yet, it was missing the blindfold mesh. When this program gave me a similar problem, I anticipated that this wouldn't be easy to fix... just as with "More Clothes," I can't find any hint of a clue as to what mod originally included the meshes.

I not only added everything stated as required at the start of the base mod, I've gone through every other plugin looking back for old, forgotten downloads that may have been overlooked when the file where it belonged omitted it. It may be like when I lose my keys, and I spend hours searching for them, and my daughter can find them in ten minutes; but, I posted when I couldn't find any more paths to follow, and my cold searches of the threads didn't uncover anything, either. I even went back through the Fallout 3 Nexus where "More Clothes" can first be found going back through every mod looking for anything that could be a source of these meshes, and I came up with nothing. I hoped that I wasn't the only one with the problem, since I am usually not; but, at any rate, I can't figure out what else to add. Whoever added the items to the store must have them working, as must everyone else who is experiencing no problems. Is there anything which may have been installed by old users of these mods/plugins that would not have been installed by someone like me, who only first installed this stuff a few days ago?

Alternatively, is there any reason on Earth why a complete "More Clothes" file that works for everyone else should be somehow incompatible with my game, preventing meshes that are present from working? If so, it would explain why none of those others are working-- the "mystery issue." I can't imagine why I seem to be unique in experiencing this problem.

Sexout Common Resources and Maternity Wear have a list of external resources from nexus you need for everything to show up. SCR also has several mods from right here on LoversLab that you need to obtain and install separately. I've also noticed that a few times we have a "Russian Doll" effect where one mod requires another mod, which requires another mod, and so forth.

What I suggest you do (I did this when I first installed sexout) is open Notepad. Make a list of requirements for SCR. Work your way through all the links checking requirements against your list, adding things as needed. Once you've found everything you need, go through your mod folder and make sure you have them all. Fill any gaps as needed and try the game again.

Also make sure to read install instructions carefully. I FUBARed my NV installation 3 times before I rechecked the OPs and discovered that I'd added more than I needed. This is especially a problem with Maternity Wear, as it need the resources (Meshes/Textures) from a few mods but NOT the .esp files.

Just read carefully and triple-check everything. You aren't the first one to have problems and won't be the last. We're all glad to help out.

Did you get the data pack for Zaz?

DATA PACK 15 - 02 - 2012

Yup-- I have that.

I have everything obvious... I'm missing something that isn't obviously stated on the first page of the install instructions' date=' I think.

Try this one:

Thanks. That did solve the lion's share of the problems. All I have left are some problems with items that make me invisible, purchaseable from the same vendor (Mary Holmwood).

That is one of the ones in the Dependancies Spoiler of the OP, is it that you haven't noticed the list there comletely or just missed that item?

Hey Hal

I was wondering if you could add a SexoutSQVARZDocMitchell quest so I can start bugging Chase to add lust tracking for him? ;)

I'm not sure what you mean by "Dependencies Spoiler." I must have missed it, because I must not recognize it when it's staring me in the face.

There are spoiler tags in the OP. If you click them they'll tell you stuff.

I was presuming that the necessary downloads were grouped together under something like, "necessary downloads," and that links to them would be directly under the mod's own downloads.

Being really new to all of this stuff, I'm not used to the term "spoiler" meaning "necessary download." To me, it means, "Only look here if you don't mind having important plot points revealed to you which are intended to be withheld from the audience for dramatic effect." I thought that, if there were anything seriously important as to which programs I needed, it would be stated right at the top.

I came here maybe a week ago because Sexual Innuendo was having some problems, and someone on the Nexus mentioned this program in Innuendo's comment section. I'm learning, but, I didn't become completely familiar with this site, yet. Thanks for the help... I'm doing my best here, but, I can't always see it all properly.

Really big blue text. Hard to miss.

I keep thinking that' date=' but seems a lot of people lately are missing things in spoilers.

[/quote']

Some people, like I, are color-blind, as well. So, the color of the text doesn't come into it, at all. If I were not told it was blue, I would have continued believing it was white-- just as, when I was in kindergarten, I thought that the color of an healthy lawn was orange, until the teacher explained otherwise, and I started using the crayon marked, "green."

I note some hostile sarcasm in the zippy post. "Hard to miss."

Well, being partially blind myself (only one eye and it has deteriorating tunnel vision) I have some problems with reading some color combinations so I get where you are coming from and I avoid using colours like Orange on Yellow. I've still got a lot more to learn about visual disabilities.

I will take the spoilers off that bit so it's more obvious what's needed.

So, the color of the text doesn't come into it, at all.[/quote']It's still much bigger than the text around it, which was what I was actually referring to as hard to miss. I mentioned "blue" because there's some equally big text later on in the post and I wanted to be specific. I was not aware you were color-blind and had no way of knowing.

EDIT: Also, spoiler tags on this site are generally used less for spoilers and more for condensing information. For example, most mods' changelogs are in spoilers, as having them complete in the OP would make it really long and enough people don't read them as it is. Naturally, most people don't immediately know this upon visiting the site, which is why most OP's have headings above the spoiler tags so you actually know what's in them.

Just a thought, but each general forum may need a short "Instructions" thread stickied at the top for noobies. I know when I first joined I missed a lot of things because of not knowing certain site features and not understanding certain terms all the "Old Skool" folks consider common knowledge. I'd write it myself but I'm still learning new stuff almost every time I log on.

I just went looking for whatever it was that I had missed, before, and, after installing everything, Mary Holmwood continues to sell the same items with invisible textures. I still have no idea what items like "fortress restraints" are supposed to look like-- and the other things have names that seem curiously undescriptive of anything I've ever seen, before; hence, I'm even more curious to know what they look like, even if I never want to buy any.

Moreover, since they exist, they will probably appear in some mod down somewhere down the line (if they don't, already), so, I'm impatient to make them visible.

Have added him in the version I'm currently running, hopefully release an update in around 12 hours time after some testing.

On the first page of this topic is this statement "Requirements you really should install before complaining about stuff not showing:"

Does everything below that statement plus the SCR need to be properly installed/copied to the data directory? That is a tremendous amount of requirements. If possible can all these requirements be packaged in the SCR? As in the necessary meshes and textures without having try to manually install that tremendous list? There is too large of a margin for error with that much content from so many sources. I believe this is why I cannot get it to work.

Thanks for any replies or assistance on this.

Most of that requirement list is mods from the Nexus. Nexus has a strict banning policy that their moderators abuse shamelessly, and rehosting the mods of authors that request that their stuff not be rehosted is a guaranteed way to lose access to those resources. Therefore, you have to get and install them yourself.
