so Version 1 is the fixed one without KFT as hard requirement? @HeavyYoungHeathens my situation is exactly like @rubber_duck im using 3BBB when KFT released i wanted to use it looked into switching to FG counted my Clothes/Armor mods more than 50 + the meshups i made combining them (i like fashion>_>) and just gave up on switching. I actually ran into the guillotine crash at "the shamrock taphouse" trying to do Drinking buddy quest

Correct! Version 1 is just a version with recent fixes, without KFT

OH COME ON!

I was very excited to see the new update, but it looks like I'll have to stick with the old one. Shame KFT is a hard requirement now, I'd like to use it but cannot due to being CBBE-3BBB user. I know I can technically install KFT and keep it active in my load order, but what's the point of it? It's supposed to be a modern take on old Devious Devices, but to fully experience it, one would need to switch to FG. Despite FG being far superior to CBBE (and other CBBE-based bodies), switching to a whole new body after literally years of using CBBE is a major task that I don't have the time to accomplish.

Damn, what a shame...

I made this switch a few years ago. I had been a long time CBBE user from Skyrim era but FG offers benefits over CBBE. Initially, there were problems with finding compatible bodyslides for clothing and armour but that's changed now. I would recommend at least trying FG. Maybe take that as an excuse for a new game?

I appreciate the fact that it would take time to find and download the clothing and armour mods. But you might be pleased with the end result. We are already seeing more compatibility for FG bodies. That may affect your mod options. On the flip side, I do know that a lot of clothing and armour mods are still not moved over to FG yet. But that's where we can build our own bodyslides and share. :)

I actually gave FG a shot a while back when it introduced its 3BBB variation. Don't get me wrong - the body is excellent, but in my own case it's simply too much work to move from CBBE to FG, especially considering that I've been using CBBE for as long as I've been playing the game - nearly 10 years.

I've never said that FG is bad - in fact, quite the opposite. I acknowledge it's a better body than CBBE, it's technically superior in every single aspect. The biggest issue I had with it during my 'test run' were the sliders (as well as lack of proper clothing conversions at the time).

Every other major body replacer (like TWB and Atomic Beauty) are based on CBBE - this means that every BodySlide preset is (to an extent) compatible with one another, and the sliders themselves are identically named (not the extra sliders added by those body replacers, but the 'core' sliders for the body). The biggest issue is that the sliders are named differently. That might seem irrelevant at first, but that means that I need to invest further time to recreate my existing CBBE preset but for FG. On top of that, any mods that morph the player body (the best example here is Rad Morphing Redux) would need to be configured differently because of the sliders. Finally, there are clothing mods - surely, there are a bunch of conversions available as of present day, but why don't mod authors support FG out of the box? Ultra-quality mod authors (I'm primarily thinking of Vtaw here) only officially supports CBBE and nothing else.

Overall, the switch is definitely worth it. But at this point, I don't think I care that much. I want to play the game to shoot at things, not modify it even further (I kinda got tired after doing so for years).

Plus, and this might be just me, but FG is true NSFW body replacer whereas CBBE is more of a 'general use' body replacer. CBBE has 3BBB physics support as well as very customizable skeleton (CBBE KneeFix for SAM), and this allows me to create the perfect body just the way I like it. It looks superb on screenshots, and while I'd like to have built-in genitals support (the CBBE wonky workaround is Animated Fannies), great majority of the time I don't even play AAF/NAF animations.

I've been running KFT with CBBE the whole time and never knew I was doing it wrong until right now.  Haven't experienced any problems.  I guess Fortune protects the ignorant

You have very valid points. I had to convert a couple of armour sets to FG myself. It was a time consuming task for some sets where the cloth didn't sit perfectly on the model skin (I hate clipping, or hovering above the body). But by the time I had finished, Kharneth and other more talented people had done the same thing and shared their bodyslide files.

I think the biggest reason why mod authors (like VTAW) probably go with CBBE is because it's older and FG has more of an infamy as an LL NSFW bodytype. Or maybe because having a similar body type might make things easier to port between Skyrim and FO4? Not sure about that, to be honest.

I was asking about Mutilated Dead bodies. I have tried this mod several times before on different MO2 setups, uninstalled the game, and later on did a new setup. This mod has ALWAYS caused sexual harassment to stop working. Uninstall it and harassment works fine, enable it Harassment stops working again. Anyone happen to have any clue whats going on? Or how they might be getting it to work? because of the past 2 years of multiple attempts, harassment will just not work at all for me with MDB installed. Not really asking for support, but just curious If I am missing something basic and stupid or if someone knows something I dont.

Nothing i can do about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Both of them aren't my mods so I don't know what issues between them are

That's really and truly bizarre. I play with MDB and it doesn't cause any problems with Harassment. Granted, I also use MDB Performance Textures (remember to delete the loose textures from the original) along with the Crash Fix, so maybe that has something to do with it, though still seems unlikely.

On that note, Dead Bodies Plus is a really cool related addition too.

Thanks!

I still have it installed but disabled I am going to try it again with recommendations. I can always just disable it again.

Well, I installed the things you recommended. Reinstalled MDB and it seems to be working with SH just fine. Its possible that MDB was conflicting with another mod I stopped using and was blocking SH from triggering events. That is what was happening is SH wouldn't trigger events at all. I couldn't even force them in the debug. Since updating I have been able to force events and they seem to trigger on their own now as they were supposed to. I have ran into a few mods here and there that have nothing to do with SH but some how block it from scanning or triggering. Like 4 or 5 small ones.

This is the first time I have seen an author make different versions for users who "don't want to use XX body".
There will be more content in KFT in the future, all based on FG.
I chose FG because my core job is to make animations, AAF animations, adult sex animations, and adult sex animations that match KFT devices.
Now even the animations in the most retro adult pixel games know "what is indispensable". And cbbe body is not for adult sex animation.
This is my choice and goal.

It is not we don't want to use xx body, actually i have a plan if i was to ever do a full reinstall to my modlist i will switch to FG since im spending the time putting it back together.

It's just switching from one body to another require sinking so much time into setting things right, looking for conversions, recreating the body preset, re-creating any meshups and then figuring what went wrong cuz something always does, n i only have few hours for me per day i already did that with the body im using and i have a fully functioning modlist with just a different bodytype so it end up in the "unnecessary change" category. and for that i really appreciate HeavyYoungHeathens doing the two versions.

Maybe I didn't express my meaning clearly because of the translation problem.
"don't want to use XX body" actually means "for some reason, changing to any other body other than the current one is problematic/difficult/troublesome/preferential/whatever".
I'm not saying this situation is bad, I just want to say "this author would rather make different versions for different body users, I'm a little envious🤣, According to the current sample, no one has ever done something similar for FG users. But in the future, continuing to expand on the premise that FG remains unchanged is the established route. And I myself did not intentionally cause trouble to other bodies users and mod authors, but because of the animation.

I went into Haymarket Mall and the npc with no legs and arms starts walking or floating around once the combat begins.

That might happen, on very rare occasions Fallout 4 glitches out and decides not to spawn NPC in assigned furniture, even though they must code-wise.

Second reason is I might've missed "ignored by sandbox" mark on some Amputee Stations, making wandering raiders sometimes use them instead of mutilated girls... If you see raider using them please report them! I myself found one spot in Corvega Boss room where I missed it.

Another reason why it can happen is because NPC in furniture was hit/shot/took damage from something, thus making her exit furniture.. That is fixable, though. Value of minimum HP character has seems to be hardcoded in Fallout 4 to 40 HP. Theoretically it can go lower than 40 using scripts.. But I don't know how to code this properly and my attempts with ChatGPT didn't work.

For now, I placed most of the amputee stations far enough from main entrances to make sure they have enough time to get back into the station before you see them, but it definitely should be improved in the future

I love the new update! There's one girl that I don't think should look like that, she's near the top door at the front entrance of Corvega, inside.

The "easy" way to avoid furniture taking damage is to set it so that it can't be damaged (button to remove destruction data in the furniture form editor window). An object's base health is tracked in the associated destructable object data (DEST) form.

Furniture can also have actor values added, so if it has a "Health" AV then you can adjust it with the usual methods you would use for altering those (e.g. SetValue, ModValue, RestoreValue...).

This is weird.. Looks like amputation clothing wasn't applied in this case... Not sure why to be honest

I will look into that, ideally making them at 1 hp should work as a countermeasure. So they simply die instead of getting out 👍

Oh, I was talking about mitigating damage to the furniture itself. Damaging furniture will cause actors to exit it.

If you're concerned with damage to the actors causing them to exit the furniture, I don't think I've seen that occur but would need to do some testing to find out. Maybe if they're exiting it if they go into bleedout because it needs a different behavior graph/idle?

Here is a Robco Patch to make it so the NPC's from Raider Pet Faction (UTNG_RaiderPetFaction) are not able to Harass you.

It changes theirs Actor Values from FPSHarassmento to be not eligible, so thee girls don't get up and try to approach you.

According to the robco documentation, since I named it after the FPSHarassment esp it will only load if you have it in your load order.

(Also only works if the NPC was not spawned before using this patch - according to tests in my game - haven't tried resetting the cell)

I believe the health for the npcs can also be changed by creating an INI for only this mod similar to my patch but with "Fallout4.esm|000002D4=1" on the change avifs line, but using an ini name for the esp (UpToNoGood.ini)
