I have to say...testing SODR is quite funny :D

 

- I have horny Ringo who desperately wants to "fool around" but wherever I take him he always gives the same answer -> Sex Here!!!! - No! ^^

...and whenever I try to convince him that this is a nice place...he leaves ;D

In my opinion it would be better if the npcs lead your character to a place they like...I personally have difficulties choosing a proper location ^^

 

- I have a very lifely wasteland since installing the latest versions of SODR...be it a giant scorpion going mad in Goodsprings or a Powder Ganger teleporting to my back or (my favourite) a Goodsprings settler running for me after killing the two powder gangers at Jean Sky Diving shack telling me that I should "have some decency" ;D

 

- and I have some weak-minded rapers...

Raper: "Don`t fight it!"

Me: [submit]

Raper: [Disgust]

...raper leaves...nnnkay ^^

...no need for training strength then ;D

 

I love your mod...please keep up the good work ^^

 

I also have a small suggestion/wish/idea...I hope I can manage to explain correctly...

Is it possible to shift all the rapers stuff over to the different factions (preferably powder gangers)? I mean FNVs blue man group would fit much better as rapers than a small randomly chosen goodsprings guy ^^...

This would make the PGs (and maybe other factions later) a real threat for female players (imo they lack some seriousness) and you could really separate the people into good and bad guys plus you can assign proper reactions to the towns folk -> I mean when a goodsprings settler rapes your character next to the Prospector saloon noone is interested but when you shoot the raper after he is finished with you the not interested citizens start shooting at you...*wtf?? ;D

...not to mention this stupid settler again who tells me that I have a lack of decency ^^

 

I know Tryout already has the basics for more serious PGs but I would love it if SODR can overtake that part so Tryout is only there for the story like elements like the NCR imprisonment.

 

...just my personal ideas...if you don`t like don`t pay attention ^^

@Phil: Stalkers and rapists have been separated in this mod.  There are currently no rapists at all.  When I get to it, I'll put all the gang rapist features back in.  There's still a lot to do yet.

@T!:  Didn't see your previous edit until now.  By picking, do you mean "forcing NPC to equip it?" cause that's what I'm trying to do now with the idea that 1) if you're not in combat, equip it 2) if you are in combat, unequip it and 3) if it's 24 hours + after it was given to you, it gets removed from your inventory.  I've got daffodils, hollyhocks, and pansies situated correctly now, although the size of the hollyhocks and/or pansies may need to be adjusted.

 

Since it's story time...here's one that I've been holding onto for a while since I've got to space out looking lame.

 

How to make panties spontaneously combust:

  1. Leave a building to walk into the desert and find deathclaws fighting deathclaws (could have been from a mod or not).
  2. Join the fight despite your lady friend's assessment "Oh shit.  We either run, or we die."
  3. Effortlessly finish off the deathclaws.
  4. Ask your lady friend out for a drink.

It was the most badass thing ever.

No I thought you were writing a script to have NPCs automagically pick plants from the wasteland.  I think I'm thinking of something else.

Oh.  My companion.  Right.  I started to, then got caught up in worrying about how often the scanner would need to be rerun, but I think I'll be able to use arrays to store the locations and then getdistance until the cell changes, which would cast the scanner again to start over.

I'm trying your mod and i like it very much. I can't wait to have the placeholder replaced with some immersive dialogues, other than that you did a very impressive job! Congrats!

 

I have some kind of issue but i'm not sure if its because its a feature not yet implemented or a bug. In my game, 2 guys whistled my character then walked toward her. They went in combat mode and the script tried to start something (i presume some kind of fight/rape) and my character's had a "out of her body" experience. I don't know how to be more precise about whats happening but I can tell you that after this "out of her body" experience, the NPC walked back to his place and my character body disapeared. I can get back to it (my character's body) after opening the pipboy interface. I have a screenshot bellow to illustrate whats going on. Please note that in this screenshot, i am in 3rd person view and my character is invisible.

Yeah I've had that happen to me too, I'm not sure what causes it.  Seems to happen when a moveto takes place under certain conditions. I'll see if I can pin it down next time it happens.  Maybe related, you might want to exclude all NPCs that exhibit no greeting dialog.  ie. they greet you with a dialog zoom and no words come up.  They cause all kinds of problems.

 

Right now I'm on break from this mod but will get back to it soon.  I'm currently reworking the Sound Replacer mod, which I'm almost done with.  Only 528 more sound assets to add, give or take 800...

 

No idea on an ETA.  Shouldn't be too long.  I've already got all the parts, it's just a matter of piecing them back together again.  And having the time to do so.

 

Thanks and I'm glad you enjoy it.  Though what is currently there is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak.

Another quick question : i'm using SO Lust and i got a <npc name> is paused or invalid in console. Does SOLust works with your mod?

That message isn't from this mod.  I use Lust and it works fine.  I haven't tied Lust into this mods lust attribute yet.  Which I want to do at some point for Lust and Spunk.  Currently this mod is unaffected by Lust in any way.

Hello again!.

 

I just tried your lastest version and work very well but i have a question regarding the turn offs. Is there a cooldown or something?. i tried talk to a companion when i got a turn off but the dialog choice is not there anymore for a while. Also, i tried check the inventory and there is some kind of token called rejection(tried testing and removing it and seems like the dialog works again). I'm curious about if turn offs has cooldown or some kind of trigger.

Should be a cooldown, but I don't know how long it takes.  Have you tried changing cells/advancing time?  Can't remember if it's a real-world time cooldown or in-game.

Seems like the cooldown is around 8-9 hours in-game time, sometimes i just need wait some mins but not really sure. Definitely there is a cooldown so no real problem.

The thing that bugs me (yet I understand that it's technically a new dialogue exchange) is when an NPC flirts/affections you and then you go back into the DRL menu to reciprocate and it's a turn-off now.

 

"You JUST flirted with me.  We should be making out behind the cacti right now!"

I have a similar problem still need understand how the dialogue choices works. I'm starting to get new events from the companion like "give 5 caps" but i just can choose ignore or refuse(with around 15k caps in the inventory lol). Another thing i don't get its what kind of drinks and food works with the Eat, Drink choices, Bramhit steak and scorch were the only ones working. I guess there is not other kind of food implemented yet.

Rejection only lasts until the next cycle (2-3min).

 

If someone flirts/affections you, and you return the exact same, you should always get mutual.  It's when you try to turn their flirt into affection, or visa verse, that turn off is possible.

 

All food is implemented.  Either the PC or the NPC must have it in inventory.

 

Tip:  You shouldn't try to figure out dialog too hard.  There are very few dialog choices that are constant.  If you're trying to figure out a way to select dialog choices in order to ensure a particular outcome, you're wasting your time.  Dialog formulas will only get you so far.  Try living the moment.

 

Turn offs are most often a result of smothering the NPC.  Receiving many turn offs repeatedly is a good indicator that you're trying too hard, or you're trying to rush things.  Slow down, or limit your interactions.  When you make progress, back off.  Or continue and risk loosing all the progress you just made.

Hmm. I just tested the drink option again and seems like Nuka colas are not added?. I have around 5 of them but can't give one when i have the chance just alcohol drinks. Maybe a mod conflict?.

Should Nuka Cola be added to drinking?  Sarsaparilla is in, but it's categorized as food.  Does it make sense that people would go to the pub to relax on Nuka Cola?  I have no real opinion one way or the other, probably because I generally collect Nuka Colas in game as opposed to drinking them.

 

Even if I did add them, should they loosen NPCs up like say scotch would?  Currently all drinking affects inhibitions/desire, which is why I only placed drinks in drinking that are considered 'panty peeler'.  What do you guys think?

Hey T, just noticed in debugging during testing you are reading P3 sized pregnant bellies as "Due" and P4 as "Large" not sure if that's the way you planned it but counting the armor tokens SexoutSPTokenPregPercent might be better use for your dialogue depending on if you are looking at their appearance or pregnancy progression, it's normally 0-100%  token count but can go over to 150% if Birthing is prevented.

Human birthing occurs around P3/P4 but it can vary either way for other critters

For appearance you are best checking if their Slot 2 outfit is in the formlist SexoutSLClothAppearPregnantP1(2,3,4,5,6,7)

@Hal  Those are sort of propped up there.  But yes I already do check against SexoutSLClothAppearPregnant which produces those messages you're seeing actually.  ie. If wearing SexoutSLClothAppearPregnantP4, then apply the look 'Large'.

 

The reason I did it like that and not the percentage is because I intend to use them as identifiers for NPCs noticing, or not being able to notice, that the PC is pregnant.  It's much easier to gauge 'if looks P2, then could be, if looks P3, then definitely is, and then the rest for various comments/records', than it is to gauge 'if 15%, then appears pregnant' etc.

 

If you have any suggestions for the words I use to describe the various stages I'd love to hear them.  Like I said, I kind of propped those up there so I realize I could be way off on the descriptions.

 

EDIT:  I actually go from P1-P8.  Though P8 I'm just using to describe the pregnantLumpy clothing list.

Danka.  I may need your help when I get to the part I was having trouble with in the prototype.  That is, how NPCs know for certain/don't know for certain, but could be/definitely is not, the father. lol

Basically, i was saying the Nuka Cola from a roleplay side. Maybe one want to make a character that doesn't like drink much alcohol or he is a "milkdrinker".
