Come to think of it, there might be one or two anims in FNVDance (link from t a couple of posts back) that aren't covered by the groovatron. It's been a while since I checked that out. The Groovatron does have all the Umpa stuff though, if you install all the requirements.

I didn't see any dance additions from NV Dance Anim to Groovatron.  I'd suggest installing NV Dance Anim if you haven't installed Groovatron as that it's simpler.

 

My suggestions for exotic dance anims (named for both if you're using the Groovatron or NV Dance Anim):

 

Note:  Dance #s come from Groovatron.

  • Dance 30 - Slut Girl (Damnit..."slut"...really?)
  • Dance 35 - Sin City
  • Dance 36 - Belly
  • Dance 51 - Classic (Kind of like ballet + kung fu)

 

They are all looping dances, so you'd have to call them once and then dispel afterwards.  You could just pick and set one of them or later give people a way to set/random the dance from a selection in MCM.   Of course, you could dump all of them in there now and just set one as the default now until you get around to MCM.

 

Of course, you could take the same approach to stripping using different anims. 

 

Didn't take notes on what looked good for the dancing activity (dancing couple).

I've had it installed for some time now with the purpose of adding more dances, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.  I would probably do it with dialogue options as opposed to MCM.  I'll get back to this at some point.  At the very least to make the male dancing less fruity (if that's possible).

So Exotic Dance/Strip > Select Dance?

 

Yeah.  It's possible.  Any of those would work better.  Of course, you could also have some briefly equippable object that allows you to set the defaults for the anims (exotic, strip, male and female dances).  Or enable/disable certain dances for randomizing it.  Of course, unless the animations were culled (super-silly and Michael Jackson), that would mean ten billion messages (and by ten million, I mean at least twice the number that are in the dance anims for FNV Dance Anim since there would be an Enable/Disable button for every anim X Strip Option (although definitely fewer anim choices) + Exotic (again, even fewer anim choices) + Male Option + Female Option).

 

I wouldn't mind putting together the object and those menus, although I think the actual way to randomize it script would take a decent amount of thought since you'd have if (random percentage && danceenabled) for each one.  I've made a mod that hasn't (and may never unless I write all of the stories for it) seen the light of day since there was a partner that was supposed to do half of the stories for it from whom I haven't heard from since early January.  The majority of it is menus, one of which has dis/enable certain options.

 

Tossing out ideas.

 

I offer to help when I want to see something and it seems like it will be a pain in the ass to implement.  ; )  I haven't taken the time to learn how to make an MCM menu, and admittedly, I will probably steal someone's whose layout is basically what I may eventually need and modify it (if granted permission).  :ph34r:   I'll give credit though.  :D

I would simply extract the anims and add them.  Then offer a selection sub menu after clicking dance.  It's not difficult.  I don't know if it's because I've only had one cup of joe, but I'm having trouble understanding a lot of what you wrote just then.

 

Personally I despise working with MCM, but I do see it as a necessary evil.

Implementation babble aside, I'm saying that the user could pick the dances that s/he wants beforehand so that your second menu where you get to select the dance either wouldn't be necessary or could have the options w/ one for "randomize" which would come with the complete set.

 

EDIT:  Any by complete set (hmm...I haven't had enough caffeine yet as well), I meant trigger one of the user's pre-selected/enabled dances.

Just wondering/Maybe I forgot:  How are dom/sub going to work?  Is the plan to eventually incorporate ZAZ?

 

EDIT:  Or is it more of a "who's on top" sort of thing?

ZAZ will get added when I start splitting up anims into dialogue selections, and dom/sub will factor into that.  It will also factor into fantasies and role playing in the bedroom.  Right now it's more or less who is on top.

ROFL.  Hey now.  I thought that it was vaguely clever and that you would appreciate it.  And I did get off the stage when exotic dance wasn't working.  *Zing!*

A question: Is it possible to add foreplay?

 

Lets say:

 

Affection: hug

Affection: kiss

Flirt: Make out

(...)

 

I mean, It's a bit weird to go directly to sex without any foreplay before.

I know that kind of anims exist for Skyrim, but I dont know If they are portable to FONV.

So, What I ask is if 'hug', 'kiss' etc could be added via activity lines during dates or pick up dialogue (when certain affection and/or desire points are reached). As AFAIK theres no animation for them implemented in Sexout yet, a brief fade to black could do the trick until they are (hopefully) eventually added to sexout.

I think that there's only one clothes-on, nothing else going on kiss anim that's been created, although I'm not certain if the rotation got fixed (maybe?), and it isn't installed with Sexout, so it can't be called from the mod directly as is.  We can all hope for a more satisfying in the future.  : D

Sex is still very basic and hasn't been worked out yet.  Foreplay of some sort is planned, but it will factor into the quality of sex.  And as nyaallich mentioned we're working with what we have, so it will probably be dialogue placeholders until anims become available.

 

My idea for foreplay though is more game play based than scene based.  ie. a series of dialogue choices to fondle this/stroke that, etc. where arousal/points are gained/lost for hitting/missing their sweet spots.  This is a bit far off though as this will be part of splitting up the anims, personality profiles, fetishes, and fantasies.  All of which will be tied together in various ways.

 

So there's a lot of work to be done before foreplay is a realized feature that I can add to the in progress list.

Glad to hear the foreplay will be there sometime, It totally makes sense in a mod like this one.

 

Also, that 'personality profiles' part sounds kinda good!

OK, 13 was broken.  I had exceeded the character limit in the tracker script causing all sorts of mayhem.  I've uploaded a new copy that sits just under that limit, so at least that part should work now.  It's propped up more or less, and is probably unsuitable for testing purposes.

 

As of right now I'm going to begin expanding this project and getting it ready for downloads, as a continued WIP.  I plan to split this mod into 2 parts:

 

1. A stand alone pluggable relationship tracker/engine (will do little if anything on its own).

2. The continuance of this mod as a template example of using the above tracker/engine.

 

It will probably take me a fair amount of time as it entails taking everything apart and putting it all back together again.  It will be like starting from scratch, with the advantage of having a pile of spare parts to pull from.  For the time being the project in this thread is on hold, until I can get something at least testable uploaded to the download section for both parts.

 

Feel free to play with the prototype.  However, I doubt I'll be fixing things in it anymore, any fixes will necessarily be ported over to the release WIP.

Yes, it was removed a while ago.  Though I may use an inclusion list on this new one.

 

I think it's 32,767 characters or something like that.  I was well on my way to 40k

I'm trying to figure out if I have a bug or not. I had an offer for a date from my companion (we'd been on a date before so I know it was working), but when 7pm rolled around the date option disappeared. I waited till the next day and I get the option but every time I ask her I get a negative response. Does this just mean the opportunity went away and I got to wait to be asked again or is there something wrong?

 

Edit: To add, the message 'you have an outstanding date' never goes away, it's been an ingame week and it keeps popping up.

Please give me a few days to prep this project for the downloads section.  The prototype in this OP is obsolete.  I will resume testing/support there with the WIP release copies.

 

EDIT: Just a reminder that the prototype download presented in this OP was never intended as a finalized copy.  It was made playable only for the purposes of testing.  If you weren't testing, I'm sorry about your loss, but I would encourage you to get more involved once this reaches the downloads section.  That will be the most effective way to help this mod move forward into something we can all enjoy.

Eh I had plenty of fun and you did your due diligence and made it VERY clear that anything could happen. I only installed FNV a couple of days ago again found this so I'm just thrilled to be part of it!

As I said, this will take me a few days.  It will happen.  This isn't the end of something, it's the beginning.  I took a break yesterday, but I'm starting to plug away at it again today.  I'll post a status update here once I get some road behind me.
