Yeah I know about those clothes, and how through the gifting menu, you can only give them children clothes. But regardless of that, you can still equip them with regular armors and clothes via the console if you wanted. That was my point. Just using the additem and equipitem command via console works just fine. Of course it won't let you gift them a full set of say Steel armor, cause the game doesn't recognize that as a proper gift for a child. But there is nothing stopping you from using the console to give them what you want instead.

Don't delete the armor swap folder. It contains the armor meshes for the children. But you can delete the armor swapper esp like I mentioned already. Since you're not using the SkyProc patcher anymore, you don't need that esp at all. The SKSE plugin in the newest update that I linked to you earlier does all that automatically now. So delete the armor swapper esp.

 

My second question is, are you actually playing a child character, or are you just using SkyKids to replace the children NPCs in the game? If you're not actually playing a child character, you don't need all those race files. You just need the main SkyKids.esm if you are just using it as a replacer (and of course the npc replacer esps).

 

Otherwise, I am unsure what else could be the issue. I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to this stuff, and I don't recognize most of the plugins you have sorry. So my help is very limited, but hopefully one of the others can point you more in the right direction. Your best bet is to start on the slow process of disabling mods that affect children one by one and see if it fixes the issue. Then check your other custom races that you have and see if they might be overwriting something as well (since SkyKids is a custom race on it's own as well).

I'm using SkyKids along with the hentai pregnancy mod for immersion. Yes, I want to mainly just replace the kids and I don't actually play as the child races. However, I want to change my kids appearance because they always look weird to me when born. Like, their faces don't look child like at all. So that's why I use the monli plug in.

 

I'm a redguard and so is my wife, but my monli daughter has the skin tone of a nord. I mainly wanted to make her skin darker using alternate avatars since I saw no alternatives. All that did was activate the "grey face" glitch, where her face would not match her body's skin tone.

 

Either the head mesh has changed so it doesn't match any of the data in the CK, or, the texture used has a different number from that of the head. Sorry I've never used any of those mods but it sounds like something has been overwritten,

So, the mod mostly works for me.  Beautifully indeed.  My Monli dovahkiin looks soooo delicious, and so does the drow girl Taldyn.  But wait, something seems off...  Why is Taldyn taller than my dovahkiin BY A HEAD?  She appears approximately as tall as Delphine.

 

Otherwise Taldyn seems to function fully as intended, and other kids (I use the replacer to swap out all children) are approprietly small.  So, um, is she just supposed to be that tall?

Are you running 'size does matter'? She probably interacted with something and the animation reset her height, its a vanilla skyrim bug which tends to play up more 'visibly' with shorter npcs like kids and such. Grab her with the console and run 'setscale 1' to fix it, and try running size does matter(linked in the OP) to keep it from happening [as often] in the future.

So first of all,great Mod,thanks. But i need some help here,im new to "This kinda modding" (Java,ect)

 

So i did everything written in the manual above but as as soon as i run "SKArmorPatcher.jar" (located boss and boss starts at the beginning bla.) i click on patch and it starts to work till the error Message at 74% -- "  Skyproc.excepzions.missingmaster " -- it lists two mod.esp´s which have some missing masters and it says Activate and try again.

 

i am so confused can someone explain it to me?

Run the patcher and wait for it to finish or try the beta SKSE version. There are CRYSTAL CLEAR instructions in the OP of this thread.

Update: I tried running the game with just update test 1 and my kids were nonexistent. I went back to the NMM and tried to in uninstall it so I could use it to overwrite SkyKids like I did last time. Unfortunatly, I can't Uninstall it. Every time I try it causes NMM to crash and when I try to use the old sky kids to overwrite, it tells me "the mod could not be activated".

 

This whole thing is become rather irritating for me.

 

You probably failed to sort your load order correctly. SkyProc will not let you continue if your plugins have out of order master errors. Run LOOT and then make sure that it's correct using TES5Edit.

And yes, I have used the armor patcher and let it complete it's process without clicking the exit box. Yet when I attempt to give the following kid armor, she just ends up in her underwear. Even basic vanilla armor like iron doesn't appear.

 

As I said before, I don't really want to play as the kid, but I would like to give my daughter some armor to wear in combat. And since the Alternate Avatars mod is quite literally the only mod I have found that allows me to change her appearance (crashes my game half the time too), I can't make her look like a redguard. She is Monli, mainly be cause the Monli look more like kids than the default SkyKids born from the Hentai Pregnancy plugin.

 

I have no idea what I did wrong, but no matter what I try, the kid won't equip her armor. Maybe her body scale might be a factor? She was born small and a feature of the Hentai Pregnancy mod was that the kids grow from a small so to the normal kid size.

 

Perhaps that's the problem, because I've been running the armor patcher, loot, boss, updated my Java, Uninstalled and reinstalled SkyKids and its updates.

I don't recall there being an addon for Hentai Pregnancy for SkyKids... Are you sure your daughter is using one of the SkyKids races? The easiest way to check would be to use Mfg Config. Open the console, left click on her, and read the info on the top left of the screen for what race she is.

 

If she IS using a SkyKids race, then you still failed to run the patcher properly, and I would recommend you go try to beta SKSE version of the armor swapper (linked a few pages back).

Sadly i gave up, due to the lack of my experience and time i couldnt figure out how to fix the weighting on my converted armors.

I was converting the Bless armor pack but hit a wall again with weighting bugs.

I'm sorry that my generic troubleshooting help didn't meet the quality you were expecting. I didn't respond because I wanted to or even because I still follow this thread regularly, but because I was asked to by a friend. I don't need to take the time out of my day to help people - I choose to.

 

Upon further inspection, it appears a mistake was made the Dragonborn module accidentally requires Hearthfire as a master. As there are most likely zero records from Hearthfire in the file, you can try stripping Hearthfire as a master using TES5Edit, but it may break the plugin (or it may not). Apart from that, I believe there is an alternative vanilla NPC replacer floating around here somewhere that you could try (it uses the Oblivion hair mod, though).

Maybe I shouldn't comment on this because I'm not even 50% sure what is being talked about so if I'm wrong please ignore this.

 

If you have made a baby using children & soul gems hentrai pregnancy that mod usually adds 2 new races for each race of child so monli race would add monlimodified and monlicombatmodified  (or something close to that) races. So your child wouldn't even be part of the skykids races and the pregnancy mods author hasn't responded to people in a while. That's why I switched to beeing female but it has it's own issues @ this time too. If this is the case then you could fix it using tes5, but you would need some modding xp.

The link to this mod seems to be broken . When clicked on , it takes you to a 'white' page with a little 'cloud' in the middle , with a red 'M' in the middle . There is nothing to click on at all . Nor is there any text, or explanation .

 

So, is there somewhere else to DL this mod ?
