en_hawk Posted May 1, 2015 Author Posted May 1, 2015 Its the same with the girls, didn't notice it before because its ever so slight. Damn you playerlin, its going to bug me know LOL, I just try checking my installed Armor mods and sadly, SK Armor Swapper can't get them all working, show nothing or something like this bugged one. I need you to be more specific than that. As for your original issue, did the same issue occur with the old java patcher or is this issue only happening with the new dll patcher?
playerlin Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 I need you to be more specific than that. As for your original issue, did the same issue occur with the old java patcher or is this issue only happening with the new dll patcher? I tried switched back the old java one(and the old skykids.esm, also get LOOT to resorting my mods)...and it's working... http://steamcommunity.com/id/playerlin/screenshot/532892171301568702 I'm suspect it may related mod sorting or something...? EDIT: Installed the dll version, seems Imperial Heavy Armor working fine, but not some of my installed Armor mods get body missing/invisable after equip armor part, like the ESO Breton Knight armor mod(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59544/), its armor model make player's leg disappeared, when in the old jave esp version, it's perfectly fine...) I guess I have stick on old java esp one for now... :3

With no SK patch of any kind loaded, my adult nords of both genders have missing calves and forearms while wearing the armor and nothing else. If you find anything else please let me know.
en_hawk Posted May 1, 2015 Author Posted May 1, 2015 Kay, new version to test, all kinds of changes. First, you need to delete your entire 'meshes\skykids-armorswap\' folder before installing(if you have custom stuff in there, you're gonna need to back it up, it should be fairly obvious where to stick it once you get the new stuff loaded up). Second, the alt male package is now baked into the whole thing, and you can switch between them with a plugin rather than copy pasting stuff around(switching mid game will in all likelyhood cause your face textures to get stuck, just go into the race menu and change the complexion slider back and forth or switch races and it'll update itself, though my official stance is going to be 'dont change mid game'). Third, the skeletons are now based on XPMSE 2.63 instead of XPMS. Fourth, the races are now non-playable out of the box, emphasizing a shift in the focus toward facilitating the creation of addon race modules rather than whats included in the box from the get go(as lets face it, they look like crap anyway). The races are still there and still fully functional, you just need to use an optional plugin to turn them on(sk playable.esp), this is also tied in with the alt male settings(sk alt male.esp and sk alt male playable.esp). Only ever run one of the three plugins(or none at all, that is valid as well), do not run two, most definitely do not run all three. Load order on these does not matter at all. Also the drow and monli plugin files had to get updated to account for this latest change, so those are included too, obviously only turn those on if you have their associated addons installed. Lastly, there's an updated dll included in here too that might possibly fix some of the armor issues people are reporting. Maybe. If you're lucky. Download here, be sure to read all my inane rambling before installing it, or I'll yell at you incoherently. EDIT: oh also, the males now use the female skeleton scaling settings. once this update gets merged into the main package there will be an option to use the old male scale settings(which were literally just 1.0 across the board). also the addon races dont have xpmse skeletons made for them yet as they use different scaling settings and I havent had a chance to port them to xpmse yet.

With no SK patch of any kind loaded, my adult nords of both genders have missing calves and forearms while wearing the armor and nothing else. If you find anything else please let me know. Yeah, I forgot that...sorry, but at least it's fine after I equip all its armor set(not just the armor itself), maybe it's intended by that author... I were means the boot one shows nothing in the new dll version of SK Armor Swapper.
Guest luthienanarion Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 That particular armor set is indeed meant to be worn all at once. The chest armor does not have arms or legs: Also, the gloves include the left hand, which may look weird when playing a child character: I cannot reproduce any errors regarding the boots, which show up just fine on my test character: Make sure that you are using the new build of Skykids en_hawk linked to a few posts earlier: https://mega.co.nz/#!Dc0iUaDI!qZWSDAwEkUQG-KCtWPtSkbkc9bVPDQQdlkyIuhns148 (Install it over the old Skykids.) I added a fix to the code regarding ARMA priority settings in that build, which may help with items that go missing when you equip additional armors. In other news, I have a routine in my internal build that mirrors the racial abilities and powers of the vanilla races onto their Skykids counterparts. This should enable compatibility with mods such as EnaiSiaion's Imperious - Races of Skyrim or Skyrim Redone's race module without needing a patch. If we don't discover any errors in testing, that functionality may be included in the next update.

Using latest builds seems good, thanks you both. -- If any possible solutions for clipping about weapons, armor parts and Skykids' meshes, since their body scale is smaller than adult ones, and things move closer and clip into body parts. http://steamcommunity.com/id/playerlin/screenshot/532892171303174521 http://steamcommunity.com/id/playerlin/screenshot/532892171303175069 http://steamcommunity.com/id/playerlin/screenshot/532892171303470712 (The weapon -- Imperial Dragon Greatsword and Arrows -- using is from this one : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13910, things in that mod seems broken as much as possible...and the armor parts are Imperial Templar Armor set from Perfect Legionnaire - Imperial Armor Reforged mod) Templar Set by Mancika ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25642/) also have serious chipping problems with Skykids. (Of course, it originally just clipping with its parts with Adult races but Skykids make it worse) Doesn't want to be annoying or something but just want to know if any possible solutions about clipping problem. :\
Guest luthienanarion Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 The XMPSE RaceMenu plugin allows you to adjust the positioning of weapon nodes in the race menu.
playerlin Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 The XMPSE RaceMenu plugin allows you to adjust the positioning of weapon nodes in the race menu. I already installed it, but I just too stupid and didn't found those new sliders for weapon nodes and other new things, thanks.
snikytam Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Does anyone have any good reasons why running the PerkusMaximus SkyProc made my child's body invisible?
en_hawk Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 Does anyone have any good reasons why running the PerkusMaximus SkyProc made my child's body invisible? Are you running the beta files? Was everything working correct before running it/with its esp turned off?
snikytam Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Yeah, all of that. I actually just ended up reinstalling Skykids and that fixed it. How it did is beyond be since I don't think the SkyProc would've affected those files, but eh.
snikytam Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 It is compatible with Mod organizer?? Of course it is. Hell, if it wasn't for Mod Organizer, I prolly would've had to reinstall my entire Skyrim load-out a dozen times over with all of the oddball incompatibilities I've come across with a 200+ load order.
ChipyChops Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I had an issue with the latest test and the size does matter mod. When I entered the cell and my follower was sitting she would be adult and remained that way when standing. After a bit of fiddling I removed the girl child armors and let use the CT77 ones which solved the problem.
Succuboi Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Okay so I'm probably just really fucking stupid or something but I do not understand SkyProc or how to get it to patch the armor.I did everything in your instructions and the mod runs perfectly fine, But all the armor equipped is obviously invisible because when I extract the armor patcher I just get the raw data folders but no jar executable or anything that would make it actually run.You can yell at me all you want just please tell me how the hell to work SkyProc.
johann7124 Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 The skyproc patcher is located in Data\SkyProc Patchers\SKArmorPatcher\SKArmorPatcher.jar You will need Java installed to run it. Or you can install the SKSE version and ignore the patcher completely. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/22395-wip-skykids-child-races-other-technical-goodies-fixed-download-linksmore-compatibility-patches21915/page-94?do=findComment&comment=1164255
Spyder Arachnid Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Definitely recommend using the newer version that Johann linked, as it will also patch hair mods. So no more patches needed for hairs and no more SkyProc patcher.

Thank you both! This community continues to impress. P.S. I was downloading his fix when I saw the comment I just hate being "beaten" by a mod I can't figure out how to install.
magodelaoscuridad Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 (edited) there is a replacer for Skyrim:College of Winterhold students (Brelyna Maryon J'zargo Onmund)? I wish all students in Bards College (Aia Arria, Ataf, Illdi, Jorn) and College of Winterhold be skykids pd:I use "Immersive College of Winterhold" mod Edited May 9, 2015 by magodelaoscuridad
IFAZER Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 The mod is fantastic! The only thing I want to know is how to make the kids equip armor. I tried to put armor on my son, but he just ended up naked. The only problems I have to report is that the child's head does not match the skin tone of the body, the body being a significantly lighter shade. Also, is there a way to edit the child's faces? I've used the Alternate Avatars mod to try and edit their faces, but the kids still have really strange looking faces.

In order: -If children don't quip armor, then you failed to run the SkyProc patcher, or if you are trying the new SKSE version, you either don't have SKSE installed and are running from it, or you placed the .dll file's location incorrectly. -The skin tone mismatch is commonly referred to as the "grey face bug". Most likely you have another mod making changes to the vanilla NPCs that SkyKids edited set lower in your load order than the SkyKids plugin. If you aren't already using it, download, install, and run LOOT to automatically sort your load order correctly.
