I don't need to. ;p I'll be looking at the shaping and get some ideas for my own meshes. This will save me the time of looking around and downloading stuff. I only need the nifs, obj, 3ds, files. Hey!, i got a nif for you, hope it helps you somehow, it's from a suit i was working on for Oblivion, it resembles Samus body (from the Metroid: Other M) Edit: Err, lol i clicked submit instead of preview. I didn't finish it, soo i hope you don't mind the skeleton (fingers are not rigged and need to check glossiness and other stuff), however i think if you just want to check out the shape, then that won't be a problem. Personally i like the body shape (long legs FTW ) and again hope its helpful to you in some way. I uploaded the nif here PS. I don't own Nintendo, Metroid, Samus (wish i did though), or anything related really.

Also, the v5 I sent you, I really like her shape. I'd just make the belly button hollow and oval. Anyways... I like a lot of HGEC, actually. The butt wasn't quite round enough for me though. I would have made it about even with the ribs and lower abs if I ever edited the body. But I think otherwise the shape is pretty good. Though, I do feel like her body is way too long and could use to be about an entire foot shorter.

I used a mod called setbody to change any npc to a variety of different body types, hope something along those lines will eventually come to skyrim...lol. BTW Thor, quick question: I noticed when using the alpha that the ass no longer gets distorted out of shape (a VERY good thing) and was wondering if you built your own skeleton or are still using the stock one?

I've changed texture paths myself that way for armor and they've definitely changed... though, I haven't tried for a body part. There is no such thing as constructive criticism, unless it comes from a person who know as much, or more. How can someone clueless, advise on anything? Can a mod be done? How long will it take? Is the modder interested in doing it? Does he have the time? The truth is, greedy, stupid people give out advice in the HOPE that a modder will make something exclusively for his/her taste. I say, to these moaning jerks, go away and do it yourself! This comment isn't aimed at you. I can't even remember who posted what and where. I'm just giving out "advice"

Sometimes you stare at your own work for so long that you might overlook something that someone else noticed, so it's helpful sometimes for people to point things out. If you want people not to mention them anymore, just make a known issues list or something for the things you know about. And well, even someone that knows nothing about modding could point out of the boobs were lopsided or something that you hadn't noticed.

I can tell you why he can't vent or "speak out of turn" as it was put to me on the nexus... A couple reasons, the MOD's there are nazi's, and even if they are wrong, which in most and many cases they are, they can't have that and will never man up , so when someone calls them on it or has a reason say something they mysteriously vanish from the nexus. Because they have a mentality that even if they are, they can do no wrong ever. They also carry the " your lucky theres even a site like this, if it wasnt for us, you would have nothing attitude". Which is why I say THANK GOD for this site, we can be the adults we are and not worry about being herdeded into a cage and being forced to put up with "this is how it is going to be seeeee? This is the nexussss seeee? myaaaaa...myaaaa". I completely agree with 2pac and Thor 111% and I will be supporting them from here. Great work you two!

Those that i have, involve tweaking someone else's work, spending 10 minutes on it, whilst the original modder spent 3 months on it. When you do little bits like that, you have tons of time to 'enjoy' every stupid comment, and even join in. ;p Some people NEED to point out obvious errors, because they can pretend they are very gifted. At least more gifted that the modder. This is psychological. They are SO useless, have nothing going on in their RL, they NEED to compensate. The nipples were EXACTLY where 'I' wanted them! The boobs were slightly square shaped initially, because of weighting. Not too bad for a WIP ! I can post a perfect mod, by spending 6 years on it, first. OR ... I can post WIP's to keep MY interest going. If I donn't post anything regularily, I WOULD lose interest. I could work on a mod, say build a house, and post a brick. A WIP. Should I then spend 3 months on writing a list of all the things I will do to build that house, to prevent shitbags from saying: wrong color! wrong shape! wrong scenery! where the fuck is the cement? how do you install it? it has caused my pc to crash! can you build me a car? is it possible you could make a giant cock out of it? you are a pervert! conflicts with my microwave! ... ... ... According to you, I should spend 3 months on writing out my every intention, and list every bug. I know some modders crave that type of 'attention'. ... I don't. Thats why they get thousands of endorsements for a mod that took then 10 minutes, cos they have bags of time to 'soothe the animals'. I have better things to do. You guys have created something spectacular while jumping through all the hurdles like the nexus and the CK kit not coming out. Please don't let others "creative visions" deter you. I think instead of creative criticism, we should just give thanks and wait patiently for what is to come. Great job and look forward to seeing what you produce in the future

Not every comment that is made is intended to be taken negatively so i think you need to calm down a bit or your going to sway people away from commenting AT ALL. try to remember your maturity and that people dont want to see you losing it over something that in all honesty doesnt mean alot, like someone asking 'can you lower the nipples?' take this message however you will. this thread is becoming too hostile for my liking as the main difference between Lovers Lab and nexus is that Lovers Lab is considerably friendlier and much more enjoyable to be a part of.

I am by no means a skilled modder and even calling myself a modder is probably discrediting anyone out there that actually has talent by grouping myself in with them. I am smart enough to realize that the modders out there are spending THEIR time to make what THEY like, period. If you don't like whats being made, google up some tutorials and download the tools to make your own shit imo. I'm not a nasty person by any means (people actually thank me in most of my posts) so this is not me ragging on anyone but when will people learn that we are not paying for these mods. If we were then by all means complain and voice your dislikes, since we are not offering payment to the modders it's fine to ask what they are planning or even go as far as to send a PM to said modder and ask if eventually they would consider this or that. Basically, there is a nice way to criticize, saying I don't like how you did this is not it. Thor, I know your done feeding this conversation but as an active member here @ the Lab, I and I'm sure many other appreciate the time and effort you have put in to making all our games a better place.

DorkDiva Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 I have been around in the tes games since arena, but only surfaced a while after Oblivion came around. Out of tons of mods and after creating countless things and only releasing a handful...after seeing so many so called files of the month, I have yet to see a modder do what Thor and 2pac and the foot making person I forgot his name have done in such a short amount of time and with such huge results. From the start it looked top notch and it just keeps getting better! HGEC took forever to come around, we had to deal with a tooth pick body(bab), eshme's body that quickly disapeared, a weird shaped body (cff corwins thing), and roberts male with breasts and no wiener body. This project of 2pac's and Thors has been quality from the start. I was never really impressed with the Oblvion bodies til HGEC and it's variants came out, with SKyrim it hasnt even been out hardly at all and here we have a body WIP that kicks the crap out of everything else right into outer freaking space. These guys have experience, know how, and the drive. They are the kinds of modders that make me look forward to new things. Sure yes I am on pain pills and drinking, but I mean what I say here! Let them vent, if they seem irritated so what!? Look at what they are accomplishing here. Making things can be stressful, and sometimes gives you a head ache. With stuff like this, whats a few venting sessions? To me it just shows that they love what they do and care about the end result. That, is awesome.
