Heres my last set for the night, I put on some more bruises, on the hands, feet, face, and body. All the textures are in the rar, just choose what body type you want, or what pubic hair type I mean.

Hello people,

 

right now I'm not using the TnT Bodys, but I installed Athena and Hera once to see, what they look like. Actually, I think they are quite nice and I will be following the progress of these mods.

 

However, some things I noticed while testing.

 

 

1.) Are there any high quality textures for the body/feet and hands? The textures that come with the mod are quite mediocre.

 

They suffer from blocky normal maps (for example around the nipples and the fingers), light seams between hands and body and the overall quality of the hand textures is rather average. Especially the nails aren't looking very attractive in the texture.

 

 

2.) In first person view the wrong hand meshes (probably vanilla) are used. Maybe Skyrim uses different meshes for 1st person? Or the nails are invisible in 1st person because of a certain missing nif property?

 

 

3.) You might want to take another look at the nail mesh, because it seems to slightly clip with the fingers of the hand mesh. Visible on both index fingers and the right ring finger. Some small realignments should probably get rid of that.

 

 

And a general question: I find it somewhat confusing to have three threads on the same or nearly the same subject (your body mods). Any chance of merging them or just using one instead of having to keep track of three threads?

 

I might have found some nice textures, if there weren't so many different sources. :)

 

Has the nexus modpage always the latest updates, so that we can simply get the latest versions there?

I am just a person who is making random texture sets, don't look at me.:angel: If you dont like the textures, theres a man making different ones on his WIP.

 

...and on another note, heres some more mediocre dirty textures.

Hope you don't mean me. I was going to make some photo-realistic skin textures but then I started having too much fun sculpting the mesh to make better normal maps.

 

Oh yeah, and whoever made the hand models really did strange things to them so they could generate object space normals for the fingernails while using mirrored UVs. To fix the pink fingernail issue just go into gimip/photoshop/paint and using the color of your choice cover over the blocky looking nails in the top middle of the hand texture. The way they are uv mapped it's impossible to do a good texture for the nails without using a 3d paint program and even that doesn't look quite right so a solid color is probably as good as you'll good.

No, someone can't remember who was complaining that everything for this mod texture wise is "mediocre" in quality. And that was some time ago, not recent. I actually like what you have done.

So I was wondering, those "DMRA Release Candidates" posted up for testing a few pages back, where do they fit in your plans? Like, are they going to be alternate bodies released alongside the existing ones? Are there gonna be armor replacers converted to fit them? Or am I totally blind and they're already released out there?
