This may come off as a surprise to you, but having an opinion doesn't make you right. Just saying.

Not having anything to refute my opinion doesn't make you right. I gave reasons for holding my opinion while you gave nothing to support yours.

In the end, nobody can decide what you take out of this experience except you.

Me saying the game is aimed primarily at 15yo American boys has nothing to do with what I take out of the game. Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader is set in an even more dystopian future but it is not aimed primarily at 15yo American boys.

And yet, what little reason you've given makes you look pretentious and the other guy right.

Just sayin'.

How is it pretentious? The guns, cars, etc are there in the game and in the quantities I said. By and large, on the whole and generally speaking, western European teens are not as interested in guns, cars and Hollywood tough-guy speak.

How does the 'other guy' giving nothing by way of refutation make them look right?

I made a statement and @Mr. Otaku asked a question to which I gave an answer. "Little reason"?  You are the third or fourth person to jump in without giving any sort of reason as to why I am incorrect.

To everyone except Grey Cloud:

This guy is derailing the topic repeatedly.  He wants to be a (somewhat) subtle edgelord by rebuking Americans' tastes for excess "guns, cars and Hollywood tough-guy speak", while trying to prove to people that he's a misanthrope - someone who characteristically dislikes people and thus gives little regard for their opinion - which contradicts the point of the term outright.

EDIT: This one's for you, Grey: If you don't like people, quit wasting your time worrying about what they think - especially what they think about you.  Either that, or admit that you actually care, actually place validity in others, and actually value them - in which case, you're not a misanthrope.

This topic's a smoking lounge for cigar smokers, and somebody came in, lit up a menthol cigarette, and won't stop farting.  If you can't throw him out and you can't force him to stop, then you gotta ignore him until he burns himself out.  So...

What sort of additional mechanics/resources might we need to create some of the staple adult mods for Cyberpunk 2077?
-Defeat

-Sexual attributes w/ buffs+debuffs

-PC prostitution (idk if that Jobs of Night City: Joytoys mod ever got done)

-Combat stripping

-NPC approaches/harassment

-Additional quests w/ specifically-purposed NPCs (slave rescue missions, PC capture-and-escape missions*)

*I imagine using the Scav kidnap mission as a framework for building this could work

Totally to "personally attack" Grey Cloud w/o prolonging the off-topic discussion.

Oh look, a psychologist.

I made one post which apparently ruffled some feathers and generated responses by three or four people (how many of those people have posted anything concerning the topic of the thread?). I replied to those posts. My original post, which was in response to other posts being made at the time, had two elements - the first was my opinion that Night City was a natural environment for adult mods and the second was the 15yo American boys comment. It was the second point which drew the flak. None of my critics have come up with anything to refute my assertion and most, including you, have preferred to attack me personally.

I have no idea what an 'edgelord' is, nor do I wish to.

I have no desire to prove to people that I am a misanthrope.

My regard of the opinion of others is entirely based upon what that opinion is. I am at a loss as to how disliking people "contradicts the term outright":

Definition

Misanthropy is traditionally defined as hatred or dislike of humankind.[3][4] The word originated in the 17th century and has its roots in the Greek words μῖσος mīsos 'hatred' and ἄνθρωπος ānthropos 'man, human'.[5][6] In contemporary philosophy, the term is usually understood in a wider sense as a negative evaluation of humanity as a whole based on humanity's vices and flaws.[7][8] This negative evaluation can express itself in various forms, hatred being only one of them. In this sense, misanthropy has a cognitive component based on a negative assessment of humanity and is not just a blind rejection.[7][8][9] Misanthropy is usually contrasted with philanthropy, which refers to the love of humankind and is linked to efforts to increase human well-being, for example, through good will, charitable aid, and donations. Both terms have a range of meanings and do not necessarily contradict each other. In this regard, the same person may be a misanthrope in one sense and a philanthrope in another sense.[10][11][12]

One central aspect of all forms of misanthropy is that their target is not local but ubiquitous. This means that the negative attitude is not just directed at some individual persons or groups but at humanity as a whole.[13][14][15] In this regard, misanthropy is different from other forms of negative discriminatory attitudes directed at a particular group of people. This distinguishes it from the intolerance exemplified by racists, misogynists, and misandrists, which hold a negative attitude toward certain races or genders.

Both misanthropes and their critics agree that negative features and failings are not equally distributed, i.e. that the vices and bad traits are exemplified much more strongly in some than in others.

As to the type of "additional mechanics/resources" we might need, I would suggest a suitable skeleton. The lack of third person is a major obstacle.

best thing I ever saw b4 Phantom Liberty was that studio mod that lets you pose people in positions like Halo Posers for Skyrim. No idea about whats currently supported tho, i left my game outdated to enjoy my mods & the og game a lil longer.

highly doubt the game will ever get to SexLab/AAF/LAPF/Sexout levels of content but would be pog if it did

Ayo Folks,

a few weeks back i stubled upon a Cyberpunk 2077 addition that could be quite interesting regarding
a Sex Overhaul Mod for CP77 like F4s AAF and  so on.

Take a look at CyberScript, as far as i realize that is an attempt to creatte a script extender for Cyberpunk 2077
quite much like F4SE, they already did put out some mods which could be a "proof or work"?

But Animations are needed i think, which is kinda troublesome at the moment.
Sadly there is no RedKit for CP77 (yet) so not sure what can be done or not.

I understand it's unlikely BUT if there are any developments, I trust someone will share the good news here.

BG3 which came out a year ago has a dedicated forum section with small, but active modding community.

CP2077 which came out 4 years ago does not.

Draw your own conclusions.

Any recommendations on good nude mods that work with current patch still? I just bought and am looking forward to playing with all the good mods out there. Do most mods still work since update?

The Cyber Engine Tweaks, Redscript and RED4Ext essentials are all updated. The mods that need those as dependencies are updating now, some of them have update, some haven't. Best to check each mod description and forum/bugs sections carefully.

Deceptious has some really nifty mods.

That said, Cyberpunk 2077 has some truly tongue in cheek quests.  Sinnerman comes to mind..it's seriously black humor throughout.  I went through with the crucifixation just to nail home (*cough cough*) corporate greed glorifying self deluded martyrdom.  And told the producer to basically fuck off even as she paid  my V a pile of eddies for carrying out the execution.

Johnny approved of it.  *laughs*

So I've been playing my V as a more or less nihilist only doing stuff cause she wants to see what's going on and tossing gasoline on the dumpster fire that passes for Night City and Silverhand in her head is just along with the carnival ride.

Oh yeah, the Ozob quest is hilarious too.  The quotes you get to direct towards the "twins" after beating them in the boxing match is a hoot too.

The best NPC story arc has to be Panam.  Totally kindred soul for my V, too bad she's not romanceable for women.  Definitely makes me want my character to be an Aldecaldos

Hyst has created some good body meshes. Link
I recommend the EBBRB version.
There are tons of conversions of vanilla clothes and also new clothes for this body.

I´m sure they had stuff planned themselves. They pulled them back. Not just "explicid" content but more interactions with the world in general (see possibility to start a dialogue with any NPC walking about but no options implemented).

I´m also sure they limited the modding (contrary what was said way before launch) because someone decided they´d not want any of "this" happening. I can only make assumptions of course, but a lot feels like I´m right :)

Damn shame, CP2077 would be such a great sandbox if only they let us use Night City properly (again, not only in the "adult content" field), but the game has been cut on so many ends it hurts.
