I would have done a standalone helmet from the start, but xedit didn't know how to handle reflection data, so I couldn't copy the helmet and had to settle for swapping the mesh file for psrtbof the Constellation one.

 

I might revisit that and see if I can do it properly. If I can get the CK to save on my Linux box it'll be dead easy.

This mod  KZ Aggregation of Scraps at Starfield Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)  breaks the NSS helmets. Has done ever since KryoZet added the Constellation stuff into it.

Is there any reason why this mod would not play nicely with BBL - Female Body Morphs and STARQUEEN - Female Skin Textures? Without fail, every time I try to enable the Naked Spacesuit mod with those mods it causes my character's body to disappear. It makes every female body disappear if they are not wearing anything.

 

As far as I know, the BBL mod only affect the morphs of the vanilla body and the Starqueen mod only replaces vanilla textures. So what is the Naked Spacesuit replacing or affecting that it would cause bodies to disappear?

NSS and BBL worked perfectly for me when that was the only spacesuit mod in my loadout. 

 

KZ_Agregation of scraps (an excellent mod with both standalone AND replacer components) does not play well with NSS. Helmets broken, collars missing etc. I have removed NSS for now (as it's no longer supported) and am using KZ instead.

 

Something in your mod loadout is conflicting with NSS.

Ok, well I think I figured it out. Mind you I haven't confirmed it definitively but I don't think I need to. DocClox mentions on the first post that NSS does NOT provide a body. He points out that you need to have a body mod. Well BBL and Starqueen textures are meant for the original default body. So, unless I am misunderstanding the directions, the reason my body disappears when I install NSS is because I am using the default body and no modded body.

 

On second thought, I will test this. I'll update and edit this post with the results.

 

UPDATE: Results: Nope, she's dead Jim.

 

Ok, for the sake of argument, here is a list of running mods: BBL, BetterConsoleSFSE, Body Morph Console, CharGenMenu, SFSE, Starqueen, NSS.

That's it. The result:

Now to be clear... this is what happens if characters remove all equipment. Naked, essentially. I don't know if this happens if I equip the NSS because I don't have it in the game yet. I also tried two different body mods that use a different body than the default one and had the same results.

Ok. I tried the version available from the first post in this thread - and yes - you are 100% correct. As soon as I installed it and loaded the game - my characters body was invisible.

 

That version is definitely broken.

 

Then I reinstalled the version I was using: 

 

And all is working again - except for the helmet as that definitely conflicts with the KZ agregate scraps mod. I uploaded 2 screens, one with NSS suit on, and one standing naked using BBL and Starqueen. Suit in inventory Images seem to be broken (but show in the uploaded images thingy when I click on the edit function ????) - edit - pics working now. huh.

Yep, you are absolutely right. I tried the 'fixed' version and am now no longer having issues. It looks like the version up on the Nexus is also broken. That is where I originally got my version. Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately the Nov 19 2024 update reverted the problem... when I went to use it for the first time Dec 26, 2024 I got the same problem that Demonwise had...  Still I'll keep my peepers on this - it seems like a fun mod. 🐺

Have to say, the version linked in my post just 2 before yours is 100% working. I just loaded the game and took this screenshot. You are still using a broken version.

Thank you for your post - In order to get this working I had to install manually...  Vortex has problems sometimes with specific folder layouts.

i got the 0.06 version from this site, and the blue version has a matte finish, while all other are polished.

is there a way, to get the blue one polished too ?

Yeah I got that too...  So I installed The Dress and proceeded to ignore it.  

 

However I do have a weird glitch - if you use Star Wars Genesis you can't use the NSS helmet (it appears to set heads to invisible)  It might work with normal heads - I'm using human female (last one fefore they change to aliens) and blue skin - it might be the blue skin but the system isn't having problems with her skin just her head.  *shrugs* so I use a breath mask.  🙂🐺

I can't remember if that ever made it into the release or not. If there is, it's black only.

I know this mod is old and not being worked on but her goes.

 

I had this working a while back but recently had a system failure and have had to rebuild a lot of things.   I have version 5 and 6 of this, the mod kind of works in that I get space suites but no textures, the body becomes invisible when wearing one of these.  Anyone have any clue why it might be? Everything seems to checkout in sf1edit.  Would it be any issue with the texture path changes maybe?   None of my other clothing mods seem to be effected though.

Scroll up on this page - download and install the version I linked above - which works. If the file does not say "The Naked Spacesuit-06-fixed.7z" then it's the broken one.

the Outfit works well for me with the Vanilla Body.

 

I love in the moment the SFF Body. How can i convert this outfit to the SFF Body? Is there a how to somewhere?

Installed skeleton, Starqueen, BBL,  all the KZ outfits/spacesuits, all jiggle physics from Nexus and loaded first the Clear Helmet and finally "The Naked Spacesuit-06-fixed.7z" after.

 

Naked Spacesuit works great with BBL, even has physics (for the butt) and no conflict so far with KZ or missing textures when using clear helmets on the newest Starfield version.
