They have happened for DCL when it tries to equip a lot of devices (bondage adventure for example), and for Devious Strike for a transfer-all event. The last one was repeatable for several tries, and it worked when I disabled DD-NG. I have the DD-NG patch installed. I have attached the crash log. Edit: just noticed that there is a brand-new release. Haven't tried that one yet and will do so once I have time. Just wanted to make this clear before I write down the nitpicks. A few potential bug / notes from my 1.5.97 install for 0.2.9: - The wrong animation appears to be installed in Devious Devices NG v0.2.9\meshes\actors\character\animations\OpenAnimationReplacer\DD to OAR\100005\DD\_variants_ZazHornyE. 10005 should have been animations for yokes, but the animation in this directory is for elbowbinders. - There seems to be some unintended consequences for blocking plug manipulation while in heavy bondage. When other mod scripts attempt to put in plugs on a bound player (who otherwise has no plugs or chastity belt), it fails to do so because presumably the akActor.WornHasKeyword(libs.zad_DeviousHeavyBondage) check in the OnEquippedFilter is blocking it from doing so. While it's reasonable for a mod to try to put in plugs before belts (which the existing check served), I'm not sure it's reasonable for mods to have to run plug code before heavy bondage code - The Bodyslide osp file in 0.2.9 ships with -- in addition to the presumably intentional change for the soulgem vaginal piercing-- additional changes to the soulgem nipple piercing, the ebonite armbinder, and the ropebinder. The soulgem nipple piercing changes, when rebuilt with bodyslide, no longer appears on my character for some reason. Meanwhile, the ropebinder changes appear to undo the 5.2 bodyslide patch (from the following post), which may or may not be intentional? Edited November 13, 2023 by valentinian 1

Thanks! ? that one's on me - should've noticed that one of the animations has a suspiciously different name from the other ones in that folder ?♂️ that one needs to be deleted & the correct one copied over from base DD's folder \Devious Devices for SE-AE-VR\meshes\actors\character\animations\DD\ft_orgasm_yoke_1.hkx to fix it right now & i'll pack the correct one for the next update. 1

I probably installed another couple mods using the DD framework before noticing this issue as well so I'm not positive this mod is the culprit, but just wondering if this is a known issue with ng

We adding some logging to diagnose this.

Can't say about any other ones, but the animation one will definitely need a new save, as DD's anim filter sets up on a new game and sits there. I've tested half the weather mods on Nexus while constantly restarting when Taki made adjustments to the filtering system ?

I'm using actual hair, not a wig. Xint's BDO pack. How would I test this hypothesis without uninstalling devious devices ng and breaking my save games? Any way to turn off the device hider in this mod separately?

I'd try testing with just ng to and add mods to see where it might be popping up.

The list comes with DD 5.2 by default and it is still installed. I was using .2.7 with the patch and didn't get these errors so I assumed it had to be from .2.9 so I asked here with the new version. Also my Nef list is heavily modified, at this point it's more that it's my base Edit, I figured it out based on your response though, some files were hidden by defualt from the list and I didn't realize it, I fixed it so thanks!! That would do it lol. The reason I referred back is because of exactly that reason - things are done to the list that you are not necessarily aware of, and would not be known by people supporting the mod outside of the list. We can only help so far, if they patch or modify the mod, we've got no way of knowing what was done.

Its possible that the errors are down to me, I had messed about a bit adding SMP to the armbinder for the locks and rings but its not finished. However I uploaded my version of the DD3BA.osp along with the new vaginal piercings. The Nipple piercing bodyslide is also broken again my fault, I'm working on getting both an upgraded mesh of the armbinder together with SMP nipple piercings featuring the same glow shaders as the vaginal ones for the next update. Sorry for the cockup. 3
