Thanks for pointing it out, got it fixed. This time it was a card using the wrong mesh so I double-checked everything in the .esp as well. *Hopefully* that was the last of the smaller things that managed to escape me.

So these cards I made for myself and so there's alot of cards featuring a foxgirl and an elf due to the fact they're the characters I play as in the game but there is also a fair bit of random stuff in there as well.

I changed up the design of the cards too, I made the images a bit bigger on the cards and the cards can be flipped over when looking at them in your inventory to see an even bigger image.

None of the cards have any pornographic material (All done using bing AI) but most I would say have "suggestive themes" or whatever lol.

Just extract from the zip and replace the "aaWaifuCards" folder in your skyrim texture folder. I'd suggest backing up the original files if you think you might want to revert back if you find you don't like my images. 👍

So something similar to this was made for the game X-Change Life but there was a game that could be played against other characters using the cards, would that be something you would think about adding in the future?

I don't think so sorry, the AI generator I use blocks any erotic art so I wouldn't even be able to make any images

There's already a guide for easily doing this on your own, no need to beg anyone else to do it.

Nah but heres the templates I used to make mine, just drop your images into it using paint.net like doragonmaid shows in the guide.

Theres a template for all the normal cards and one for Ultra Rare and hentai cards that have the 3D style effect.

The image on the left side should be 512x710 and the right side image should be 512x745, just drop them in so they're covering up the green part on the templates.

I made a replacer of all the cards of the mod, "the problem" is that all the images used were made by artists and I don't have their authorization but in addition, I don't even have the list of the artists' names to credit them.

So I technically don't have the right to share it but hey, I'm doing it anyway at worst the message will be deleted and it doesn't matter at least I would have tried to share it.
 

There is a README in the archive so don't hesitate to read it, I say in particular what kind of images are used in this replacement.

Hi. Sorry to bother you but I appear to have stumbled on a bug.

I am wondering if something could be conflicting with the display hall. Some of my cards are placed in a way that makes them almost invisible (see below)

and there appears to be an invisible wall that is supposed to be a display cas too, the hentai one apparently. eventhough according to the map I should be able to go through...

I am wondering if some of the visual overhauls I have wouldn't be the cause of the problem by making the display cases larger than they ought to be. I have smim, noble skyrim and skyrim parralax amongst others. I don't remember there being a conflict when I installed the mod but I'll reinstal it just to make sure.

Edit: No conflict detected by vortex when reinstalling waifu 3.13, and no change to the issue...

By any chance did you update from an old version (pre-v3.0.0) to the current version mid-game, despite the description saying that a new game is required? This definitely seems to be the case since the displays/activators appear to be loaded in their before-v3 positions. And yeah, nothing you have installed would conflict/cause these issues.

 

If you did indeed update from a pre-v3 version to v3 mid-game, the solution is to either 1. - reinstall the old version and load a previous save where you were using that version, or 2. - start a new game if you want to play v3+.

That's strange. It is a new save and I don't think that I changed anything in the waifu file. Could it be because of the bos add on?

If so, should I start again from scratch (This character has only something like 2 or 3 hours of game so no biggie, the most annoying will be to redo my whole mcm settings for all my mods one more time) without the bos add-on?

 

edit 1:

OK, uninstalled and deleted my waifu card, same with the bos addon. redownloaded it again (waifu, not the addon, I didn't put it back), started a new game, gave myself some cards via additem spell and tped to the display hall, exactly same problem, so i don't think that the problem is about the mod version...

 

edit 2:

After thinking, the only thing that i saw that could be doing any change to it was the completionnist addon, so I rmoved that. Then I realised that you had just uploaded the file less than an hour ago, so I deleted the one I had and downloaded the new one, made the same test and yes, this time it works, don't know if it was the new file or the lack of completionnist addon that did it but the few cards I entered in the display were all visible and I could go where I couldn't before! Now I'm off to one more time redo my mcm settings for 200+ mods. But hey, I managed to make it work.

I can't recreate the issue you're having on my end otherwise, but in general I'm inclined to believe it has something to do with your install, due to the positions of the displays being where they were before v3. The only other thing I can really think of is somehow multiple versions of the mod got installed in Vortex, and it was treating them as separate entities and allowing both to run at the same time.

 

And after doing some searching, I learned that this exact thing can actually happen with Vortex when updating/reinstalling things. One last thing to try - completely remove all versions of the mod and the BoS add-on from Vortex, check the Data folder to make sure WaifuCards.esp/the add-on isn't there, then freshly install the newest version again not using any update/reinstall feature, and start a new game. If it is a Vortex issue that should *hopefully* resolve it

 

Welp nevermind, lol. I think it might've been a Vortex thing (see the stricken-out text above), but I'm glad you got it resolved! Hope you enjoy the mod and sorry you had a rough time with the install.

Hi, short question, I am still on my run to 100% all achievements, after that I want to mod that game and now I saw this mod and really like what I see. My question is, is that mod compatible with the AE version of skyrim or am I out of luck with that?

Hey, sorry to bother you but I have a little bug, when I try to place a card from the "hentai" series (and only this series of cards), the card shown is black (it was the same when I found it in the world), however I see the image very well in my inventory and the other series seem to work without problem (I have not tested with other cards from this series, it is the only one I have found currently)

It looks like the environment map (which creates the holo effect on rare cards) isn't loading correctly for you for whatever reason. I can't 100% pinpoint the answer, but I can make some guesses:

 

1. It might be caused by your ENB, if you have one installed. People using ENBs have had issues with the environment maps in the past, and it might be worth trying to disable it or change some settings and see if that changes anything.

2. If you experience this anywhere else in the game (like vanilla or any other textures turning solid black) it could be an issue of running out of VRAM, which again could also be tied to an ENB.

3. Since you made your own replacer - make sure you don't alter any of the environment map textures (any of the "cardholo_e" or "_bw" textures). If you did, make sure to restore the ones from the original mod (they need the specific compression they were originally saved with in order to function properly).

 

It's not an issue I can recreate so I don't really know what's happening in your game, but I hope one of these things I mentioned helps or points you in the right direction.

Thanks for your answer ! It comes from my ENB however I don't know which settings in the ENB create this.... For those who come to have the same problem, I use "Rudy ENB for NAT 3"

I looked around a bit and found a possible reason why some ENBs don't like my textures, and I made a fix which I tested with a simple ENB and it's working as intended (though I didn't go with Rudy specifically, since I don't want to change my personal mod setup too much)

 

Mind testing these updated textures with your ENB enabled? Fingers crossed it'll fix things for you, if it does then I'll be sure to update the main mod with it.

Hey, i was thinking in using this in the next Update for my NSFW Modlist called N.Y.A. Problem is tho if you remove older Versions frequently bcs you do frequent Updates, people cannot install the List on alot of Occasions. So my Question now is, are you ok with me adding this into a Modlist, and 2nd, Can you keep older Version on the Loverslab Page? So i dont have to update too often. Would be really cool of you. But if you say no i will not add it and thats cool aswell!

 

PS: Everybody would have to download manually from here, iam not inlining the File.
