I am considering adding shortcuts about the bards and Mara quests to solve issues if npcs die or for testing purposes.

Any suggestions to make these shortcuts more immersive are welcome.

'Just because it makes no sense to you doesn't mean it makes no sense'. True but it doesn't mean it makes sense either. I notice you fail to explain how it makes sense. The number of hours you have spent playing the game is irrelevant. I've no idea how many I've spent, I've better things to do than count them.

Trying out new mods is exactly what I am doing. Part of my complaint was that this 'new' mod is too tied up with the 'old' vanilla quests. If re-doing the vanilla quests for the umpteenth time doesn't bother you, then fine. There is nothing to stop you doing them with or without a new mod. I am tired of doing the vanilla quests so I seek out mods.

Yes I have uninstalled the mod but as I said, I was enjoying it until the Bards College issue. I follow this thread and monitor developments and if things change then there is nothing to stop me installing the mod again. Meanwhile you do not have to respond to my posts.

It seems you need more explanation.  I'll try to keep it simple for you.  Motivation level needed to play a quest again = 2, for example.  Motivation level currently at 1, 1 < 2. not enough motivation to play the quest again.  New mod adds motivation level 1, 1 + 1 = 2, now enough motivation to play the quest again.  Understand?  So don't tell me it doesn't make any sense when the motivational levels involved are different for every person who plays the game.

Meanwhile, Steam keeps track of the hours played.  Or are you the person on the All in One thread who's admitted to playing on a pirated version?

I just finished the corruption path of this mod, having previously completed the redemption path.  And, as my British friends would say, I think it's bloody brilliant.

The integration of the mod with the lore (of the Daedra and the Divines) and with existing quests was incredibly well done.  The dialogue was also well done, one particular example for me being the seduction of Sister Marianne.  And getting to play the gag-talk game (in reverse) with Hamal at the end was really funny, although I would have liked to have an option to ask if she wanted a sweet-roll (joke).

I did notice one odd thing - after dealing with Sister Moira and Sister Ophelia, I returned to the temple before visiting Sister Marianne.  At that point there was a group of traveling sisters who were wearing the tavern clothes instead of the red hoods.  After dealing with Sister Marianne I saw some more sisters dressed the same way.  Was that just Skyrim being Skyrim, or do the traveling sister outfits revert to the tavern clothes regardless of whether you choose the corruption or redemption paths?

Thanks again for this great mod.

Thanks. That was just skyrim being skyrim. The red hoods don't stick around very much, especially if you have mods like wet and cold.

I will try to remember the sweet roll comment if I update it.

I really liked the usage of the vanilla quests in the mod (especially those in riften). Plus: they Gave me a good reason to do the Bards quest at least once, but yeah they were kinda repetitive (That is: the vanilla quests for the bards college). As an alternative that still works with the bards college: Why not let the player arrange a very private session with a bard and the sybill, or what about getting a bard to do some (instead of carnal) romantic wooing (deliver romantic letters, serenade)?

Just finished the corruption path, very interesting, but uninexpected tame in the end

Is it just my buggy installation, or did Sanguine really just show up to have the most vanilla sex in the main hall ever? Well, that and he installed a new red light bulb :) I kinda expected them to get at least a little intoxicated and at least some hints at other things (like, shortly before the player passes out, the last thing he/she hears is something along the lines of: Good thing you brought the goat along...).

The underground after this is a little more interesting, I like that Mother Hamal kinda get's what she's worked for (being bound in the underground baths) but the other sanguine-servants down there seem a tad inactive. The Sister bound by mother Hamal in the Inner Sanctum remains the same, which is a little sad. I'd hoped for her to be in the position to torment Hamal, well either that, or being bound as a good example for the worshippers outside the Inner Sanctum, after the temple comes out with it's new direction.

I have progressed a lot since last time but i can't seem to convince ophelia and some others. Do i just need more speech or something?

edit: yup, it's speech i need.

You can also talk to them in the middle of sex.. No speech required then.

I have to agree that having to do the bard quests don't really serve this mod at all. The Mara and Haelga quests are fine because they just involve running around and talking to a few people, but doing all the bard quests can take 1-2 hours and really disrupt the flow of this questline. The quests in this mod don't involve any combat, but the bard quests require you to do four (!) dungeon crawls in a row, the first being a particularly long and difficult one. It just doesn't fit.

Also, I really dislike that this mod basically deletes the vanilla Svana Far-Shield from the game. I like having her around in the bunkhouse.

Otherwise, this mod is really well done.

Why do you keep trying to insult me?

'...the motivational levels are different for every person who plays the game'. That was exactly my point. Glad you got there in the end.

Yes, I'm the person who admits to playing from a pirated copy; and I'm also the person who said he had a legit Legendary Edition and a Steam account. I also explained my reasons for doing things this way. And this is Loverslab so let's not make any inferences about the moral high-ground.

The integration of quests from the mods into quests in the world is one of the best features in this mod. I suppose you could add a big "pay gold" to skip option but seeing the story and the dirty things coming out of this is so cute and darkly beautiful. I mean I love the story and the lore and this adds to it.

"Glad you got there in the end"?  If that was your original point why did you insult me by telling me I was talking nonsense?

And I'm not insulting you by asking if were playing a pirated copy, although that is problematic.  It was because you were apparently ignorant of the fact that Steam keeps track of the hours you play, and I figured that that could be one possible explanation.

Got a problem with part of the Redemption I found 6 Daggerfall Clovers and braid a wreath for Sister Senna and went back to the temple and not getting the dilalog to give it to her so I looked and your walkthrough and I see Find 10 Daggerfall clovers and bread a wreath for Sister Senna. So which one is it and why can't I get the quest to continue. So I went back to a save before talking to Svana and did the Corruption part and had no problem with it. I would like to do the Redemption but since no one can tell what is going on Maybe someday I will try again

I must confess: I am a true fan of those embedded vanilla quest ( and therefore also a fan of FoxFingers' Amorous Adventures).

But I'd like to share a few suggestions for shortcuts and I really hope that they sound lore-friendly:

* praying in front of the statue in the bath,

* or praying there and donating some lore-friendly item in a certain container there. The item will disappear in the process, like a sacrifice

* or praying there and donating some highly valuable item in that container

* or persuading a random sister into accompanying you there for this prayer and you have to have ceremonial sex with her in front of the statue (sex style could also vary, depending if you wish for the corruption, or the redemption path)

* maybe the players choice of the sister will influence the options, what to pray for

* having the ceremony with Fjotra herself. This should then be the highest joker, since she is the sybil.

Maybe all of above with different outcomes or different magnitudes of the power, what the player can influnce in detail? That would be really cool ! :D

Solution in all cases will be: the goddess will speak through Fjotra with the player in a conventional skyrim dialogue.

A list of influenceable options will be presented, the player selects, and Dibella will grant the wish (or not, depending maybe on the power of the ceremonies above?)

So, the Sisterhood quests may then advance, as if the vanilla quests would be solved.

Perhaps, you can use this method even to resurrect dead actors ? I mean, giving a life back again sounds damn god-like to me ;)

And for sure, it would fit as THE allmighty and lore-friendly hint giver in-game. .. for instance whenever a players gets stuck somewhere and don't want to use the out-of-game walkthrough documentation.

I am looking for a couple of volunteer testers to take the next version for a spin.

I need to test if the new mechanism to skip the bards college and Mara quests is working. And also to test if the normal path with these quests is not broken from the update.

I am testing it myself but it could take a long time before I can test both configurations.

The most recent problem I hit with the vanilla quests was that the Bards got stuck in Burning Of King Olaf mode (which I've seen other people complain about, but not seen a solution for) and I couldn't speak to Panteia any more. I had to setstage past it. So even as an emergency option it would be good.

Speaking of, any chance you could add the quest ID to the mod description or to the FAQ? I had to crawl through the thread looking for it in order to advance it - it'd be nice if it was available in an easy to find spot.

The walk through in the github wiki is open for editing by anyone I think, so if someone wants to add quest ids, I would appreciate it.

I am short on spare time right now and I want to use whatever time I can find to work on the mods and not on the documentation.

This goes for all my mods, including SD.

I have time, but I am also in the middle of rebuilding my whole game. It does not help that Nexus is currently down again. angry.png

I will jump in, if I can get my game in working stage.

No rush.. I am in the middle of a large update of SD+ to test alongside the Sisterhood.

I see you are on the beta testing thread already so you can grab the new version from there.

I'm seeing some issues with the dialogue to celebrate "Sanguine and Dibella" when the temple is corrupted. I saw the option to be the dominant partner only once, and each other time it's only offering me the submissive options (same as it id before you updated it).

What new stuff is going to be in the sisterhood may I ask.

A couple of bug fixes and a way to disable the bards and Mara questlines.
