"You are just racist, misogynist"- anytime you even slightly disagree with some people's worldview, lol. Evidently what you say when you have no sensible argument and feel challenged.

THIS is something I'm sick of hearing.

I hear this all the time but I've never heard what the "worldview" or "belief" in question is, or why it's being challenged as racist or whatever.

The only responses I get are either vague or thought-terminating cliches (ex. "you just don't like hearing the truth")

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

"One Moment Please"......  how the fuck long is that?!

“I hate how any computer nerd can hack everything from the world’s biggest banks, to missile silos, all with less than a dozen keystrokes on a Dell laptop.

Then comes the line I hate….”We’re in!”

”We don’t have any other choice.”

“We have no choice”

“There’s no other way”

Well - the "KGB hackers" from the old Federal Republic (Germany) already indirectly proved at the end of the 1980s that they could break into networks of US military bases (by hacking) via the "Internet" ... however, the silos and thus the ICBMs were never accessible to them -> because they communicate on a separate and completely physically separated data network.

When these naive "guys" (the hackers from the former Federal Republic of Germany) wanted to sell their data to the KGB in East Berlin - they had to admit - that they had no chance of getting to the ICBMs ... thus the KGB had lost interest.

So what I hate in this context -> the spread of the urban legend that hackers are able to fire the ICBMs of the USA or Russia with their laptop or from an Internet cafe ... that is Hollywood bullshit in its purest form.

Axo - I had contact with one of these hackers on a private level in the early 1990s (more by chance) ... through mutual acquaintances.

Through them I know the story from the hackers' side ... and through Cliffort Stoll's book also from the other side.

I usually dislike people that say "I done my research" when in fact they never did any research besides reading reddit or youtube shorts before they try to forced their opinion on you when you never cared about the topic in question.

Kind of in the same vein, I hate it when someone brings up some argument or topic or whatever, and when you challenge them on it, they're all like "I'm not gonna explain this to you. Just do your own research, bro. 🙄" Like, motherfucker, you brought it up in the first place.

Being election season, I am increasingly sick of people saying "I like this person because X" or "I like that person because Y".

Policy, people!  You can hate the person with every fiber of your being - so long as the policies they support make sense to you, THAT is who you should vote for!  You are voting for a POLICY, not a PERSON!!!

On that vein, I am also SICK of scheming politicians promising the moon and the stars when most of them know full well that it is not up to THEM whether or not the things they would LIKE to see accomplished actually get accomplished.  So many voters are absolutely clueless to this, and the politicians count on it.

As with Mr. Fudd, I'm getting a tad bewildered as to what season it might be!

"Every vote counts!"  Even the ones from dead people?  What about people who don't know the realities of what they're voting for?  Those who vote for the wrong reasons (whether they happen to land the dart on the correct or incorrect candidate is irrelevant to this).

And by extension:

"YOUR vote matters!"  Don't bullshit me, you're terrible at it.

Usually because some idiot on the other end can't pass up the chance to click on a link from an unverified source. Just ask the Chinese.

Not really a choice since the only alternative is a permanent dirt nap. :P

That's not an alternative, really.  Only an extension on the inevitable.  Still, why anyone would willingly reduce their time, well, I truly feel sorry for people who get to that state, however they arrive there.

Not so much due to actually being sick of hearing it, but sick of wishing that I'd figured it out sooner:

"Youth is wasted on the young."

"Good vibes only."

Well, I hate to break it to you, sunshine, but just as the world has kind people and positivity, it also has jerks and negativity. Or, as Chris Rock once said, "Life has assholes." Simply rejecting the bad in the world won't do jack to get rid of it. Also, understanding why it exists makes one appreciate the positivity in the world. Not all negativity is bad.

What I hate?

When you don't know how to proceed with your argument in the "West" -> then you blame the "little yellow man" ... in the past it was the "Japanese" - today it's the "Chinese"

Enemy images are wonderful, aren't they?

Then go give Xi a sloppy blow job for all I care. The evidence is so overwhelming that there's not even a question as to who's responsible for most cyber attacks around the globe. China does it and doesn't care who knows. They dare you to stop them. The Russians must have done a pretty good job of brain washing you East Germans.
