Good shout, I think I'll make this harder to achieve and make its effects much less pronounced. Maybe also make it Regula faith only?

This might be a little too messed up, but when you get notified how many pregnancies there are to bless, might it be possible to absorb the pregnancy in exchange for something? Health, power, piety?

Starting using the mod this week and I am loving it. I'm excited for the coming changes. This mod is the only reason I actually bought and started playing ck3 actually, because this kind off content is something I have always wanted to do.

I think making all the regula bloodlines to be locked to the regula faith is probably a good move honestly and your right would probably be the most effective fix to the breeder one being spammed out amongst all women in the world  hopefully it wont be to much work for you to do that

Fixed, added Japan spouse tradition to ones I explode when Magister starts, wish I could override the spouse limits, but culture beats tradition I suppose.

I don't have access to the game right now, so I can't check if it works, but could you add the spouse/concubine limit to a Regula tradition as well? We know culture overrides religion, but what happens if two culture traditions conflict? If the higher one prevails then this would automatically solve the issue for any future added basegame traditions as well.

Thank you so much for creating and updating this mod.
It is one of the main reasons why I keep playing this game.

Are the special units limited to only light infantry and heavy infantry? Is there any plan to update the heavy cavalry units?

I'm not sure what you mean by this?
Currently most of the Regula special units are light/heavy, but with the Famuli art rework most MAA now have a "Famuli" version.
I've got some plans to clean up the Famuli Warrior traditions, pretty soon they'll grant access to that regions special units, not just a single specific Regula unit.

Hmmm, that is an interesting idea! Maybe it would reduce your piety "XP" (aka would lower your overall piety level) but give you extra piety/tyranny/relations loss?
Could be a really mean way to punish a rival as well...

Yeah, I'm going to lock it to the Regula faith and see how that goes for a run.

I thought about this, but you still would need a cultural tradition added, maybe the Magistri submission would be a good candidate, I might try it.
Would have to test it first

How can I disable the transfer event? It's annoying when I have hundreds of daughters to breed

I'm not sure what you mean by this?
Do you mean the ward charming event?
You can skip these by going using the "Read the Regula Magistri" decision, then checking the notifications settings page.

Thanks all for your kind words ☺️, I enjoy working on this mod and keeping it going with new stuff as CK3 grows and trying out all sorts of playthroughs.

I'm putting out another medium update today, still getting the big one (Magister rework and updates to Regula Admin government) ready.
This one has the Famuli MAA rework, really would love to hear peoples opinions on this.

For those interested, here are some examples of the Famuli art replacers for vanilla MAA

Horse Archers

Konni (I think they are called Hussars in game)

Just some of the really cool art now in the mod!
I think this showcases the great use case of AI, would have been impossible to do anything like this a few years ago (without a super dedicated team of artists)

I'm just guessing since I can't see the current Cultural Head, but it's most likely because you aren't the Head of your current Culture. The image below is for Famuli Warriors, but each of the traditions has the same code. Basically you just can't adopt Regula traditions while diverging your culture. Might be something that needs to get updated since I think that restriction is from back when the decisions were the only/primary way to get the traditions. @ban10 Maybe have it change based on the Game Rule that enables/disables the tradition decisions?

Edit: Or the file on Gitgud is already updated and I'm lagging behind. Never mind then.

When I was playing during the Song Dynasty in China, I found that after using "Mustar Famuli Warriors", I could not appoint any "Grand Marshal". Once I appointed any female warriors, I would immediately leave my court and go to the countryside, and the appointment would become blank

Just start using this mod, but one thing bother me is at 1066 start, all ruler nearby me (i play as chola kingdom) suddenly has tiefutu cavalry as their unit, which weird since shouldn't it be a unique MaA for chinese ? or is it intended and just how this mod designed ?

Same here, 867, norse start. everyone, on the entire map, has 2 units of tiefutu, except for the byzantines. i dont know if its this mod or not but since it was recently updated im posting here first

Huh, that doesn't sound right, will check
EDIT: Huh, I can't replicate this, I can see MAA across the map in both 867 and 1066 look correct, are you guys using any other mods that change MAA?

I've decided to use "scope:character" instead of culture_head for the check here,
Right now its showing that your culture_head isn't magi.
I do find that strange though, because to get these traditions in the first place you need to be culture_head, so I'm guessing you were the culture_head, got these traditions, then lost culture_head?

Either way, makes more sense to use the current character for checking instead.

I'm ok with the tradition checking the current character, as the decisions still need you to be culture head, but then if you lose culture head you can still use the traditions as long as you are part of the Regula faith.

Haha, they help the Magister extend his mind control powers 😅
I kinda like them, sorta a nuns hood but a different design

Based on what is in the screenshot the Yamato culture likely doesn't have the traditions. It looks like Tyrranus is trying to add the traditions while diverging the culture which seems like a reasonable way to acquire them, but was prevented by the Culture Head check. The new character check that you added should clear up the issue that Tyrranus was having.

yes exactly this I was trying to diverge the culture so I could have these

just to add it but this was on the newest version of the mod of course and yes I purged the old version totally before installing the new one and starting a new game

I noticed that the l_simp_chinese has no entries related to regula_government at all. To fix this, I’ve already completed the Chinese translation (using AI) for all relevant content under game_concepts, game_governments, and decisions.

However, I’m stuck on one part: I cannot find the localization entry for regula_government_filter_option_desc in the l_english file. This means I can’t translate this filter-related text to complete the full localization of the regula_government content.

Could you please help me identify the exact position of regula_government_filter_option_desc in the English localization file?

Pie in the sky request, but would it be possible to make this religion one of the involved faiths in the struggles? Like one of the secret faiths for the Iranian Intermezzo.

Also, when I change to the regula admin government some vassals switch to regula Gov and others to Admin (Normal/regular). Does this matter? Is there major difference for the AI and vassals?

Thank you for your response. I have found that the appointment will fail after the title is changed to 'Regula', and continuing to maintain the appointment of 'Celestial' will not affect it

Hey, Im finding it hard to understand why the Magistri faith views prostitution as criminal. Can someone explain that to me?

Straight answer: prostitution being legal will cause wives of the Magister to bang strangers and have their children. All your women belong to you!  ;)
