the sentence says you got the lost temple key

if you open the pod by console the same is inside too.

the last part is totally bugged

you have to reach the temple but is impossible to open, there is a wall and if you try to disable

there's nothing so no black book to be teleported to Mankara

setstage to 900

aftd3_nuai3 starts without issue

this works only if you side the rieklings because the college path isn't implemented in version(051bis) so you can't awake

in the hallucinated mountain for the issue in aftd3_dream1

i hope this helps until the fixes in next version

In my opinion, aftd3_dream1 / R'lyeh doesn't work properly ONLY on current game saves, so on new ones or from before the first visit to the reclining cave (before transferring to the new house)

I launched a new game, played the mod.

So little things, but no problems, until the end of aFTD3_Dream1. aFTD3_Nuai2 refuse to start, setstage done nothing... very strange.

I hope the script is not corrupted...

 

Do you know how I could get infos about a quest misfunction ?

I tried to set enable from start, no dialogue and no package played...

 

I have an hypothesis ; it's the mage path addition the cause of the problems I'll try another construction, I'll see the result...

I didn't found a way to save aFTD3_Nuai2 quest...

 

So, I'll rebuilt it. For resilience, I'll split it into two quests : aFTD3_Nuai2_begin (between 0 and 400 of aFTD3_Nuai2), and FTD3_Nuai2_city (after stage 400)

I hope it will work.

 

Edit : I spent the night to do it, but now it"s working... aFTD2_Nuai2 quest is lost, weeks of work done for nothing... but the two new quests works... just need to polish it. The mage path is not functionnal.

sqv quest_name? There seems to be a similar problem to the added stump in Ravenous a few updates ago. But all in all, I don't know if it is currently working properly or not.

So, i rebuilt aftd3_nuai2 quest, in two quests : aftd3_nuai2_begin, and aftd3_nuai2_city. tested, these quests are functionnal.

Should be a nice addition, but I don't know how to do it. And I don't have any money to hire voice actors.

Can use AI to generate voice. But I think someone else will do it for you. I lam ooking forward the update of this mod. This is a story I really like

Hi Delzaron,

 

I know you recreated the quest aftd3_nuai2 already but I thought I should let you know that the reson the quest refused to start is because it could not fill the "Gulielmus" alias for some reson. I checked the box to make the alias "Optional" in Creation Kit then I could start the quest. I thought this might be good to know for future reference as it happened to me before as well. :)

 

The only issue after starting the quest that I found is that I had to use console commands to set stage 20. After that, the quest worked as expected.

Apologies if this is a silly question, but is there a way to leave Insmouth mid way through the quest and come back later? I recall Fulvius saying something along the lines of waiting on boat off the coast...?

The Fulvius dude warns you before going to Insmouth that you will not be able to come back until the Insmouth quest line is complete. The boad that is referring to, is the same boat that brought you to Insmouth. At the end of the Insmouth quest line the sailor on the boat will have a dialogue option to bring you back to Solitude.

I really like how you've redone everything in terms of the beginning of the plot. Well, where is the option with a prostitute? It's like I've already tuned in to a similar mood. And the mod broke me off at the start.

I didn't found a good idea for the solitude scénario... so, I decied to merge the ideas I had with the dawnstar one.

 

It will be centered on the retrieval of one of the black books of Apocrypha. Hold in Solitude by a noble, also a witch.

The player will need to inform Kjegrim, and get the help of Fulvius to access to the Witch relations circle.

 

The witch is known to be a collector of esoteric artifacts, and to organise parties with courtesans.

So, I see 3 possibilities of doing that quest.

 

- a classic infiltration. Player need to integrate the witch social circle, thanks to the info provided by Fulvius. You'll need to gather informations, and to find a way to steal the book when it will be the most vulnerable.

 

- the stealing : infiltrate the manor of the witch. That will be a labyrinth fill of enigmas and monsters.

 

- the parties : player joins the circle as a courtesan. Again, you'll need to gather informations, and to find a way to steal the book when it will be the most vulnerable.

 

for each of these scenarios, I need to find ways to test the player.

 

And you'll meet a old connaissance...

No, that's not the problem. This girl comes to Susana's house, but there is no trigger for a conversation with the key transfer. It just ties like companion and that's it. There is also no dialog option. But I have already decided to use an alternative method, that's just where you need to find the register in the castle, but where is it located? maybe you mean the fort? It's hard to find when there are no directions where to go. In addition, it does not seem to be an item, since it is not in the item menu.

I just need to change some variables increment in part 1 (Norren and Xander sex scenes). I could develop a little Diraela quest in Windhelm, like makeing it harder to get infos, with optionnal sex scene, prostitution themed.

 

I don't understand what is blocking you in insmouth, sorry.

Yes, the register is inside the fort.

Okay, since there is an alternative quest passage, this is already good. By the way, do I need to download some kind of mod for ugly creatures? It's just that when I climbed into the abandoned temple, there should have been that blue ghoul from the first screen, right? I have an exclamation mark instead. Is it like "work in progress?"

billy animation pack is the pack anim you need, it's very large and cover all the stuff you can find in skyrim.

Hum, check your installation, particulary the meshe file. In my case,c athedral failed to convert that meshe, I used to download vicn SE meshes, and use it for shoggoth in FTD SE.

Is the quest, 'the torment begins....' incomplete? I got teleported to a cage in the temple after talking to Arthrarak at the end of the slaver inquiry quest. But nothing happens after that, if I trigger the quest 'the torment begins....' at that point by console command, some stages of the quest also don't seem to work, for example at stage 150 where I guess I was supposed to be teleported to Ryelh after dialogue with Lurka, nothing happens...

The problem you face is simple : the aFTD3_Nuai2 quest refuses to work. I don't know why, and all my tirals to make it working again failed.

So, I remade it in two separated quests to avoid the cost of rebuilding.

Sadly, I tried to complete this quest again and at the loading stage of the R'yelh location I got a crash of the game and the system at the same time. It's funny, this has never happened before. I tried to run the following quest that you wrote to me through the code and nothing happened. In general, here we have a typical holy moly

hi, Delzaron, I wanted to clarify more here. Can you tell me what kind of NPC was used to create Hakkluru? It's just that her face does not match the color of her body, and this happens only in the case of applying moderated facial presets. I've already caught this in Riften, I have modified faces from NINTH and there was an overlay on Grelka from another, BB author. Well, actually, isn't this Daedra girl an NPC from some city?

 

And also, when will you change the quest aFTD3_Nuai2, Ideally, you will have to go through the mod first, or is it enough to roll back for a couple of missions?
