IMGUR TOS Update 15.5.2023 -Remove all NSFW-

Dear modders, users

 

Don't host your nsfw on imgur effective as of 15.5.2023. They'll remove all nsfw recursive. That also applies to previous uploads.

Probably would also depend on if those images are set to public or not. If they're set to private then only you the uploader will see them.

According to the mail I've got from 'em, it will affect both, public and hidden (private) uploads.

The Imgur community has been a particular brand of the loony bin for quite some time now, so I'm not terribly surprised that they went after adult content.  Plus, they've been increasingly trying to push advertisements and "premium" subscription services, so I bet payment processors got in the mix as well.  (*cough*, MasterCard)
