Probably you were too busy to notice those messages popping up in the upper left corner of the screen

I use Notification Log. When I say there were no such messages I'm quite certain about it. I have a habit of checking it regularly, and since I have never seen such a message before, I'm sure I would've remember it because I do tend to pay attention to new stuff.

Anyway, if you say it works as intended, then who am I to argue?

The other day I had a draugr hit a female guard in Dawnstar with a shout and she got equipped with an armbinder. A regular, leather one, not Abadon.

She got stripped of all her clothing, including a head. I mean literally, her head became invisible. I had a naked,  headless guard walking around in an armbinder. Hilarious, when you imagine it.

Anyway, after having a laugh, I used NPC menu to register her, then "update outfit" and removed her guard helmet. Her head popped back into existence.

There is obviously some conflict there with that specific headgear.

Oh, and I left the guard as she was and promptly drove away in my dwemer mini choo-choo into the sunset. She looked like she was having fun.

How many and what kind exactly of those empty soul gems is actually needed? Because there is no such thing as "great soul gem", so I have no idea whether Grand or Greater soul gems are needed (and how many).

These are not exactly easy to come by. I'm fed up with running back and forth, especially since the house is not exactly close to anything convenient (and I do not use fast travel).

1 empty Grand and 3 empty Greater soulgems

When paying Hulda for the house she mentions off-hand to come later as she might have something to do. But it doesn't seem like she actually does. She has no further interactions involving anything related to US. Am I missing something?

I have already finished Goo Research quest chain.

Yes, something is in planning phase, not yet implemented, you're not missing anything.

I may have accidentally used a shout on Nodaba. But she can't be registered in UD for some reason.

I think I've added her to US NPC slot, i.e. independent from UD. She struggles to get free, right?

Uh... I can't remember. But I was able to access her inventory and get the research materials she gobbled up back. Though I only realised afterwards that I was actually buying them off her. 15k septims down the drain...

However she did not have any devices in her inventory, and when I pulled up a UD list with the use of NPC hotkey,  what appeared there didn't seem to exactly match what she seemed to have on her visually. E.g. she had some sort of hood or mask on,  l but no such device was listed. Also I don't think there was "update outfit" option as well.

P.S. she's still a cunt and I hate her.

Now, that I'm done with the research, that whole "throwing into the Sightless Pit" idea sounds very, very enticing.

Here's a bug I have 100% repro rate on with the current charatcer I'm playing.

Sharing info with Urag on Purified Goo, he proceeds to have sex with the character three times. The first act proceeds normally, however when the second one starts the Bleakwind Basin teleport bug triggers every single time. Usually also Defeat triggers as well, since the character drops down from considerable height before being lifted above the camp. I started using tgm to circumvent player going into knock down, but Urag does go into knockdown. Usually I have to console kill the giant at this point. The third act concludes, but after that Urag becomes unresponsive and can't be conversed with. His every reply is just three dots. enable/disabe, recycleactor and so on do not work on him.

Trying to circumvent it by increasing his health to something like 99999 so he doesn't go into knock down or coc'ing back into Arcanaeum after the second act, also doesn't prevent him from becoming unresponsive.

I have tried it several times over the space of many levels and several hours of gameplay (reloading previous saves) and it always triggers. This is the only instance when that bug manifests itself with Urag. No other research outcome had that happen. My wild guess is that it might be due to the fact that there are 3 consecutive sex scenes one after another while at the same time UD is equipping and unequipping devices from the player. A heavy script load makes it so SexLab can't handle this and goes stupid.

Also, I have a potato.

EDIT:

That issue with unresponsive Urag seems to be very similar to what I have experienced and described here with Erandur. He too became unresponsive at some point, for unknown reason.

That means SL scene started or ended in wrong coordinates AFAIK. Happened to me only when scene was triggered right after going through load door for some mods. Your hunch about successive SL calls might be right.US_UragGRQ_Script.pex Replace this script, I've added bunch of wait commands to allow for some pacing between the calls, might be better for real slow system.

That "hunch" would be consistent with what Bane Master said in his version's Defeat thread.

I'll let you know how it went as soon as I have the chance to try it out.  Thank you.

Okay, I ran 4 tests, here are the results:

First off I did notice that it takes longer for the first scene to commence. There is a considerable pause before it starts. But there doesn't seem to be any significant pause on the second scene. I never got to the 3rd scene.

I have to stress it takes a long time for all the devices to be equipped on my machine. 30 seconds is the norm, often longer if a full set is being equipped. This is random and depends on what specific devices US decides to equip. I have set "variety" in the US's MCM so it's always random. Scene often starts while the devices are still being equipped. In all cases I chose the 3rd option ("properly use all the holes" or something) when talking to Urag.

Test 1:

First scene started when the devices where still being equipped, including an ebonite hood and a gag. Those did not get unequipped, resulted in a blowjob being performed with a gag, although CNA/FHU did resister swallowing cum at Urag's SLSO orgasm event.

An anal plug and corset were then unequipped, DHLP-suspend event was sent, then DHL-resume. Nothing else happened, the whole thing just ended. No fuck-ups to PC or Urag occurred, but only one sex act was performed. Game proceeded as normal.

Test 2:

Pulled up a console after swallowing the goo, waited for all the devices to be equipped. It did take a while, something like 30-45 seconds at least. Only when I made sure no more devices were appearing I exited the console. A gag was ueqipped by Urag, first sex scene proceeded normally.

A corset and anal plug were unequipped, second scene, teleport to Bleakwind Basin, Defeat state for PC, all the issues I described before.

Test 3:

No console pull-up, first sex scene started while the last devices where still being equipped, including a hood and completed with no issues but with it still on. Unequipped anal plug before second scene, DHLP-suspend, teleport, issue as described.

Test 4:

Repeated steps from Test 2 by pulling up console on first scene. Pulled up console again after it finished, waited for plugs to get unequipped, DHLP-suspend, teleport, issue as described.

So basically, apart form Test 1, the issue persists. There is considerably longer time for the devices to be properly equipped but apparently not long enough.

I will say however that US 3.0+ does run heavy and I have been experiencing a lot more of random soft-locks and occasional CTD on my machine ever since I switched to it. Plus my load order isn't exactly slim. My PC is 13 years old at this point, I'm running a ca. 2012 dated i5-3570K@3.40GHz CPU and GTX 970.

Shit just takes a long time to process. Needless to say, I have no need for space heater during winter season and playing in hot summers is like sitting in a sauna.

====================

====================

Now, putting all of the above aside, that got me curious: what are all the possible things that can be shared with Urag?

I have done both basic goo versions, ancient seed, shout, abadon weapons, the cursed goo potion and obviously tried the purified goo stuff which doesn't seem to work properly for me. Anything else that can be shared with him that I'm missing? I think the dragon nuts are from this mod too, right? But as far as I recall those didn't lead to any sex scene.

My PC is around the same time (and even the same gen as yours!),  i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 16Gb, GTX 1060 6 Gb, only slightly better than yours, but no such weird happenings... I'm really lost here!

Skyrim is 1.6.1170 with all the bells and whistles and all the good things like papyrus tweaks etc.

Please note that sex etc is optional, you can always say "have sample and be happy with it" and it will be marked as shared.

You can share essentially everything you can craft, from not mentioned by you are abadon ring, controllable plugs, chargeable plugs, Bound Cunt set, dragon nuts (yes, they are from UD, bring both normal and cooked one), abadon execution potion. Once you shared everything - option to share disappears from the dialogue.

If you need hint what to share - type sqv US_UragGRQ in console and see what variable set to false, name of the variable will give you hint.

I have no idea how to make somewhat decent way to hint player what is missed to share, so this is the only way to get the hint for now...

Mine's 1.5.97 and SKSE 2.0.20. Downgraded with full patcher, no fucking fishing because I hate it.

But your i7 CPU is actually much, much better than i5. I do struggle in any game that relies heavily on CPU, late game KSP or late game HOI4/EU4/Stellaris being other prime examples.

I don't know why that happens either. Across many years I have seen this bug pop up occasionally, this is the first time I have ever encountered a 100% reliable and repeatable way to trigger it. Alway happens on the second scene of that particular quest, at least on this character. Maybe I should test it on a new character, one which does not have almost 150 hours of playtime and probably a shitload of problems under the hood.

Anyway, I also found out why my character always goes into knockdown when she appears at Bleakwind Basin.

Spoiler

Ordinator (and by extension Vokriinator which I use) has a whole branch in Lockpicking tree that allows the character to pick up or craft bear traps and deploy them by dropping from inventory with various perks increasing their effectiveness or adding effects. I'll spare the details, but sometimes, when I placed a trap it would sink through the ground and disappear. I lost a bunch of them during this playthrough and it turns out, that several have appeared in Bleakwind Basin, basically at 0,0,0 coords. I discovered it by accident by just walking over one and getting instantly knocked down even though the character had 1600 armor and 900+ health. There should be no traps in that area. Console inspection revealed they were from Ordinator. They were also lying upside down, which no normally placed vanilla trap does. It does not solve the issue of teleport, but it does explain why both me and Urag were getting instantly knocked down after the teleport happened.

abadon execution potion

I have no idea what the hell that is. I mean, I am aware of it's existence because I've seen it in xEdit but I don't think I have seen it craftable anywhere. Or maybe I didn't pay attention. I have a lot of shit clogging up cooking station menu from all the mods I use. Like cooked human meat for example.

Have Nodaba give the player a notebook listing all the possible craftable things as a sort of good bye gift after the research quest is over. Saying something along the lines: "Here are my research notes. Now, run along and have fun, bound slut". No details on what is needed to craft them, and what station they use, just a list. Should be immersive enough and enough for a curious player to discover how to craft them by themselves.

In fact, you could list them right now, if that is not too much hassle. I'd just compare to what I think I have already done, see what the orc has to say about it and maybe discover another bug (joking. I do sincerely hope not).

Umm, actually it's already kind of done, each research resulting in opening new craft hints at it, i.e. "figured a way to make plugs" etc. The whole list craft book is not a bad idea, might be useful though.

That's way too cryptic and afair only appears once, or at least until the next step is done. I don't know if it's possible to back up the pages and read previous entries because I've never bothered with it. A pop up message box is not really a convenient way of checking things at a glance, especially if one has to specifically travel to the house, walk in, and then click on that damn book on that table tucked away in a corner behind the stairs.

I keep all the materials in a completely different location that's half way across the map and the house, as I said before, is pretty remote. I'm not going to travel there more than necessary. Even as a temporary early game base it is not in a good location.

A notebook summarising everything, that can be kept in an inventory, and where one can check things at a glance would be a really good idea.

Let me give you two examples:

I had no idea there is a way to inject Abadon weapons into levelled lists until someone in this very thread said they had enconutered enemies wielding them. Only then I started to look how to do it, and only found out after reading the fine print in MCM.

The whole Purified Goo kerfuffle? It only started because I happened to have some in my inventory when I went to Urag to give him an Abadon dagger, and saw a new conversation option pop up. And I only had it by pure chance as I was in the process of moving all my stuff from one place to another. Which in turn, made me realise there are more things that can be shared and sold to Urag.

And all that was mere few days ago, after months of playing around with this mod, after I've already fished the whole research quest and forgot Nodaba even existed.

I do realise that some of this stuff may be obvious to you as the creator, but if one goes in blind, a lot of features of this mod can simply be overlooked and one would not even realise one is missing something.

If I'm understanding correctly - you're trying to learn 3rd word, but not getting hit with full blast? At level 40 there should be plenty of Draugr Overlords which know it, but they use it in close combat, plus it's RNG. Also do not forget that you can practice shout on your own once you've learned at least first word, shouting at female targets for example to subdue them. Or male ones, to have a bit of fun :)

Shout at Nodaba. Repeatedly.

Give her a taste of get own medicine.

I think I've used shout on about 5+ bandit stronghold to all women.

I think we should find some other way to ensure that the player's task progress will not be stuck after the BUG occurs. Like a book?

Are you using the 1-word shout or the 2-word shout? because you need to use the highest level you have.

If you've done it correctly you should have a notification "Your understanding of blabla increases slightly". If not, you will get something along the lines of "you failed to learn anything new".

However you can't just spam it and expect results. You'll have to shout at one victim, then UD needs to do its stuff: run all the scripts, equip all the devices and successfully finish equipping them. Depending on your rig all the other script load it can take a while. Only after that you will get a confirmation. If a target dies before that happens, you'll get nothing.
