I thought about what you said and that's what I just did : take a time machine and going back to Skyrim's release. These screenshots are from early 2012, and I'm surprised they look much better than I expected. Of course very rough compared to what we can achieve today, just not that bad. Apart from Bethesda's, no much high res textures, no CoT, or ELFX, no ENB, even SKSE is out of the equation. And the unavoidable Physics? Fuck you, I'm a horse

ao2thend Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I tried out some ENB's today. I love ENB's. Of course we have some Rudy ENB. TK ENB Now NLA ENB And lastly that old classic still showing who's boss, Unreal Cinema ENB. Probably one of the best ENB's for nighttime shots. And lastly, some comparison shots. Rudy ENB. TK ENB Not good for Nighttime shots. NLA ENB Unreal Cinema ENB. Its funny how some ENB's operate well in certain lighting conditions and terribly in others. NLA is probably the most balanced as far as lighting goes. Rudy ENB is not so great in interiors, Unreal isn't great in daytime and TK is bad at night.

I also find that NLA is the best and most balanced. Your welcome. NLA was my ENB of choice for the longest time. Its just so well balanced with its lighting that really nothing else compares. Of course, lighting isn't the only thing that ENB's do, but it makes everything else fall into place.

ao2thend Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Some more highlights of some of the ENB's I've been trying. More TK ENB. Its a shame that this ENB has such bad nighttime lighting. If you look at the clouds on the mountains, you can see how dark they are. By night, those clouds are black. Night really ends up being a deal breaker for me. Its dark and bright at the same time... Mistveil ENB (winter) Mistviel ENB (Summer) Spruced up Mistveil summer edition and sought to see if it could be used with Pure Weather. Here are the Results. Midnight Pure Midnight Vanilla 6:00am Pure 6:00am Vanilla Noon Pure Noon Vanilla 5:00pm Pure 5:00pm Vanilla Interestingly good with Pure Weather. Not sure why any ENB would be made with Vanilla weather. Unless of course boring lighting and lack of variety is something you enjoy. If it wasn't obvious, I'm looking for a new ENB. I love Rudy ENB, but I've taken so many shots with it I feel that It's been used up in a sense. Right now, Mistveil summer ENB and CR Cinemablue ENB (which I may post shots of later) are my top contenders.
