Guest _kuraiko Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Testing and tweaking new ENB and textures...
Rokabur Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Do you have a few really good scenic screenshots you want to share but you have no place to show them off???? Well Now you have a place for them. With this series, I aim to show anything Non-Character related, it can be fields of grass, trees, skies, interiors, Exteriors, Dungeons...ETC. you name it, just leave your character out of the picture........PLEASE!! The pics can also contain vanilla or modded characters, meaning NPC's Dragons, Draugr's Trolls, Spiders.... ETC. But only at a distance as to be apart of the back drop & not a focal point. CREDIT... goes out to "Blow" for this awesome Idea!! I'll go a head & get this started: What all mods were/are you using? I have everything jacked to Ultra High, the DLC HD textures, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8655/?, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41076/?, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40564/?, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10383/?, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14227/?, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28642/?, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49791/?, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27043/?, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/607/? (the Full textures) and your screenshots look 10 times better.
Ezeno187 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Dunno if this is the right thread to post this, but I installed Stakado cinema ENB(not sure if thats the right name, cant search right now, pretty damned slow connection), with ENBSeries ofcourse. I hate how ENBseries looks and it lowers my FPS, but the nice thing was the ENB menu it gave you(I used ver.168) so you could ''oil'' your character, but with the cinema ENB the menu isnt there and my version changed to 102. Any way to get the menu back?
ao2thend Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Lots of pics for everyone. Some of the more unique shots are at the middle\end (at leased in my opinion).
Guest endgameaddiction Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 A little bit of post-editing to make scenic shots a bit more moody.
Robton Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Somber 3 ENB test shots I just took after a Hardware Upgrade
...0... Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Prefer a little bit darker game plus some screens i use DOF others not. Im very pleased with distant textures its all very detailed by HD enhanced terrain mod. These taken when sun go down.
CeeTeeDee Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 anyone have reasonable distant detail settings?
ao2thend Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 anyone have reasonable distant detail settings? enb 2014_08_24 23_42_00_04.jpgenb-2014_08_24-23_44_14_36.jpgenb-2014_08_25-12_20_46_40.jpg When I look at my screenshots, I say no. The problem with distance for me is that i'm not sure A. how far I can push my settings, and B. what settings would help with those shots. I mean, LOD textures and meshes are good, but to really have a good looking distance shot, you need to change the ugrids. However, doing so didn't seem to change how far stuff like grass and more minuscule things were rendered. Forts and the people around them were rendered and the only way I could tell was to turn my FOV to 10, but even still, it didn't look good. I'm sure there are some ways to get all that to work, but I just haven't found it yet. Good shots by the way.

Good shots by the way. thanks for responding... i think most of the 'ini pushing' you can do is pointless... atleast i've never gotten anywhere with it... the only settings i'm interested in are when visible blocks change into active fully rendered ones with all the details. i believe thats the 'block distance' but changing that doesn't seem to affect that limiter i think ugrids affects only the static LOD meshes on distant mountains... i have these in my skyrimprefs.ini fMeshLODFadePercentDefault=1.2000 fMeshLODFadeBoundDefault=12288.0000 fMeshLODLevel2FadeTreeDistance=12288.0000 fMeshLODLevel1FadeTreeDistance=12288.0000 fMeshLODLevel2FadeDist=12288.0000 fMeshLODLevel1FadeDist=12288.0000 fBlockLoadDistanceLow=50000.0000 fBlockLoadDistance=200000.0000 fHighBlockLoadDistanceLow=20000.0000 you can see the line in the middle of the image where the leves of detail change. would be nice if someone could explain these, looking at INI's in particular ENB configurations just leaves me wondering what the f*ck...

CeeTeeDee Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 anyone have reasonable distant detail settings? http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/38332-the-complete-skyrim-graphics-modifications-and-tweaks-guide/ don't know how that look, i just let mods take care of that thanks for the link!, using the settings from that page: SkyrimPrefs.ini: [TerrainManager] fTreeLoadDistance=125000.0000 fBlockMaximumDistance=437500.0000 fBlockLevel1Distance=122500.0000 fBlockLevel0Distance=61250.000 fSplitDistanceMult=2.6250 bShowLODInEditor=0 [LOD] fLODFadeOutMultActors=26.2500 fLODFadeOutMultItems=26.2500 fLODFadeOutMultObjects=26.2500 fLODFadeOutMultSkyCell=1.0000 don't know if i'm making any progress
CeeTeeDee Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 nope those settings are bollox, all increasing them did was create more video lag and fps drop without increasing detail settings noticeably.
...0... Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Try HD enhanced terrain (very good)-distant decal fix and AOF Detailed mountains. If you don't know what your doing don't mess with your ini files. Mods will do the job just fine.

If you don't know what your doing don't mess with your ini files. Mods will do the job just fine. both of those are just texture replacers, i want to be able to load all the rocks, trees & misc clutter to the edge of the loaded Ugrid... i think it may even be scripted, dragons for instance, load to the edge of the ugrid but mudcrabs are block dependent... or something anyway... having fun tweaking Serenity 8.2...
CeeTeeDee Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 serenity with sky gradient, bloom and gamma edits i made... still some green hues in daylight shadows, but over all a sharp, clean, bloomy and fast enb.
