Rokabur Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I'd love to add screenshots myself but just about every ENB I've tried drops my FPS to under 25 and makes the game too laggy to play at all T^T.
ao2thend Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 This set brought to you by Vanilla Ice Cream ENB. Why name an ENB something like that?
ao2thend Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 gave elder blood a try, good stuff! I never got Elder Blood to look that good. Nice work!
Afro68 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I'm nowhere near the level of photo taking of most of you but after a ton of trial and error I finally have my skyrim looking great. It took me finding a nice tutorial and a few hours but here's a few of my beginner screen shots. Once you get this stuff setup properly you game looks so good, I can't believe it's the same game...
ao2thend Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Trying out NLA 2.0 (beta). As good as the original NLA was, this is twice as good. These first shots are without any major personal edits. A few edits later...
Rynnhelded Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 And I am sitting here, looking at my mods fighting each other... :'( These are really really nice scenaries ! I should really enhance the landscape, it feels very ...different. It is safe to add mods that change textures, etc... on a saved game or it is recommended to start a new fresh game ? Won't too much nice looking mods make the game heavier and slower ?
mindqontrol Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 You can change textures replacers at any given time (except mid-game), that won't bork your saves. Same goes for meshes, but some of the mesh replacer mods might contain .esps, and unless you've opened them with TES5edit and know what they do, you'll want to be careful with removing them. Also yes in practice most mods that improve graphics will eat some performance (less fps, more vram usage, somewhat higher risk of crashes/stutters/whatever longer loading times etc), first because it's kind of the point to make higher fidelity stuff, also because more than half (guesstimate but true) of the texture mods are saved with wrong compression settings or are too high resolution for what's needed (same for meshes but to a lesser extent, I assume people who make meshes are more knowledgeable) so there's a lot of waste going on.

Won't too much nice looking mods make the game heavier and slower ? I would say that its alright to add texture mods into any existing save game without issue. Unless the mod is something more then just a simple mesh/texture replacer and requires scripts/.esp's to run, there shouldn't be any conflict. As far as the performance impact goes, you will have to find out for yourself. In my experience, few mods really provide a sharp drop in performance. Usually the only mods to do that are grass mods and high detail mesh replacers (such as this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32246/?). I haven't seen a texture mod really cause a noticeable drop in performance, but it really depends on what system you have.
Kurapika Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Man these pictures make me wish i had a better pc. :'Awesome stuff, thanks for the pictures!
gm207 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Hello everyone, Im looking for a mod that gives women ballet feet, or point feet when having sex, does anyone know of one? Thank you guys https://www.google.com/search?q=skyrim+pointy+feet&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=932&tbm=isch&imgil=rRHPmE_1tDSYSM%253A%253B5C7ZLCB6YLB8yM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fmod.dysintropi.me%25252Fhigh-poly-feet-and-hands-for-unp-bodies%25252F&source=iu&pf=m&fir=rRHPmE_1tDSYSM%253A%252C5C7ZLCB6YLB8yM%252C_&usg=__LVYAbLtZN5ZbI5KLV5wb-UGSw8E%3D&ved=0CD0Qyjc&ei=AQf1VKrTIovEgwTplICYBw#imgdii=_&imgrc=rRHPmE_1tDSYSM%253A%3B5C7ZLCB6YLB8yM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fmodimages.dysintropi.me%252Fvar%252Falbums%252FSkyrim%252FHigh-Poly-Hands-and-Feet-for-UNP-Bodies%252FScreenShot673.png%253Fm%253D1401468129%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fmod.dysintropi.me%252Fhigh-poly-feet-and-hands-for-unp-bodies%252F%3B1920%3B1080
ao2thend Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Well then, I'm finally back. Had a hard drive break which kept me from posting anything new. But now I'm rocking Skyrim and all my games on my brand new SSD and I sure do love it. And to make up for lost time, I have a large heaping ton of pics for you fine folks. I guess I should also say that the first couple of pics were in the early stages of my re-install of Skyrim so the first shots are much more basic then the following. Enjoy.
ao2thend Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Damn, that NLA looks really, really good. What's funny is that this is still in beta. Just how much more awesome will it look when its finished?
ao2thend Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 More pics. My Edge AA might be turned off for some of these (not on purpose of course. I looked in my GUI and noticed it off and I'm not sure how long it was off for) so some pics may look a bit jagged.
Dutchbat Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Again some elder Blood but this time with the aspect ratio of how its meant to be run, colormash to the max
