Couldn't be more simple, install the original mod, install this DLL overwriting the original, and it should work if you have SKSE installed properly.

 

A mistake people frequently make is switch between SoS versions without a clean-save procedure, it can break the game, or simply not work. Before switch to a new SoS version, remove properly using the MCM, save game without the mod, and make sure it was removed. In case of problems, also do the clean-save procedure.

 First I am not telling anyone what to install or not , I am telling that worked for me ... so you should stop your arrogante voicing of your post , if something works for me and i see someone having problems i pinpoint them to what worked for me , there is nothing bad about doing that ...

 

So you should STOP talking to people that help when you do not reply or help people that need help , I was helped a lot of times that way , and fixed issues in my game this way , with help of others that not the creator of mod A , B or C ... most people are playing the game and find issues  with Mods in their game , it happened to me , so I tell them what i use if it works for me , All creators that are not often online appreciate others help, you don't ok ... but that doesn't give you the right to come here and tell no one to not help others when you are not around to do it ..  Period ... I help you do not like my way of helping is your problem ..

 

I think its basic , helping others the way you know , you say the DLL is effective , maybe the one it was released now but not the one you had before , so old your horses and praise help and not trying to destroy a basic Game forum base that is helping others and be helped ..

 

I help anytime I can .. your problem is your problem I do not care if you do not like that I pinpointed another mod ... it works for me so good luck and be nice instead of a firestarter !

In case anyone else is as stupid as I was, scouring for weeks to find out which versions won't cause a crash upon undressing:

 

The Joy of Perspective is apparently totally incompatible with SoS. and will cause crashes. Removing that allowed me to use the old SoS SE file with the modern .dll replacer just fine.

You could use Improved Camera. There's also a patch collection called Improved Camera Patch Collection. This used to cause problems with SexLab but they removed those parts.

After I reloaded a game several the sos extensions went to missing.

Well... the 1170 will load (SKSE shows good) but will CTD before I even get a graphics initialization. Crash log points to the DLL. Simply switching back to the no DLL and all is well again.

I always get confused when I update these things, which one of these do I need for the current version of the game? I have AE, and my Skyrim version number is 161170, I'm sure I don't need the bottom DLL however idk at this point xD

Thx for the DLLs! This is the closest i've gotten SOS to work properly in my mod config. Have a weird issue left where there seems to be an underwear texture overlaid on males but I imagine it might just be Tempered Skins for Males SOS version not playing nice. Gonna fiddle around a bit but can confirm this works for 1.6.1170.0

I use 1_1_5-DLL-1_6_1170 its work fine 

 

I used its with SOSAM so load order that work for me is

SOS full

SOSAM

try new save its don't pop up warning sign anymore

No combination of bashing things together could get these .DLLs to work. Closest I got was an immediate CTD instead of getting warned the .DLL didn't work. I just can't believe we're this starved for dick mods that this thing is still on life support.

You only need 1 dll file. That is the one for whatever game version you are running.

Just to clarify. Replacing the DLL seemed to do absolutely nothing. I downloaded multiple versions multiple times and none worked. The only thing that made progress was installing one of the zips as a mod and loading it after. Regardless, I'm not going to mess with it. It's clearly gone into the realm of hobbyist modding

I'm a total novice to modding who knows little beyond dragging and dropping files. A decade ago, I was interested in SoS, but I never got around to getting everything else needed for it to work. Now I've got SKSE, SkyUI, RaceMenu, etc installed. I had my hopes down with Bethesda pushing these new versions and updates. but everything seems to be working on version 1.6.1170.0 after a few attempts and plenty of guides.

This has a bug where it will unload ESL flagged schlong addons when you modify your load order.

I give it to adapt to the schlong, with some animations it goes through the nose. The only ones that are correct are the beggars in the world, it can't fit with every preset. And there are probably no sliders like in Sims4, I Mod under one month on the game still needs to learn.

Seems to be working fine as of 30/12/2024 (with Alternate start+ in racemenu genitals sliders working, in MCM - SOS - Futanari CBBE tab working fine too) thanks!!
Unsure, need confirmation: Had an SKSE plugin loader : schlongsofskyrim.dll disabled, incompatible with current version of the game , seems like new .dll file version needs to corresponds to the SKSE version and not Skyrim AE's version, right ? (Got confused over Skyrim AE Update 1.6.64)
