Sometimes there is a vanilla skyrim bug where if there are responses with enough characters to take up 2 lines in the interface at the bottom of the dialogue options they hide the options below it making it look like they don't exist until you scroll down anyway.

I think this is a vanilla Skyrim bug that affects other things in the game too so I'm not sure if there's much to actually be done about it. Thanks for the great mod by the way, would like to thank you while I'm here. I think the Daedra are underutilised in being actually evil or corruptive like your mod does even if your mod does have to make stuff up, ever since I discovered it last year-ish don't think it's ever lost its place in my load order.
GamerB110 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 I just played the bloodcourt quest and it was a definitely different from normal skyrim without quest markers and full survival, really great mod, i also must say that i experienced some crashs when trying to enter/leave the cells of this mod but overhaul it was really great and different, i'm now looking foward to play the other quests. thank you for the amazing mod.
GamerB110 Posted September 2, 2024 Posted September 2, 2024 hi, got a problem on the syndicate quest, i'm doing the brothel branch and after the scene in the love shack nothing happens, everyone just have a generic dialogue and nothing more, also nobody received the tattoo, so i guess the quest got stuck? is there anyway to force the quest to progress?

Failing that IIRC there is a global called something like dwsdanimtrack which finishes the event if an animation ends while it is at 15 or 16

I can start the ritual and summon the seeker (but only if i just loaded my save from desktop, if i try reloading without quitting to desktop the prompts disappear) but when i activate the book i only get a message about the seeker moving in and then nothing. just frozen until the attempt times out, then i'm unable to leave the room because i lose the ability to interact. at first i thought something was wrong with my seeker anims, so i used hentai creatures to summon a seeker to test them directly, but despite many attempts, the anims with the hentai seeker worked every time. further, after i did so i recieved a spell effect, "apocryphal dreams". I can only assume that this is the reward for going through the ritual, barring the hentai pregnancy integrations? (i don't run hentai pregnancy personally, so perhaps that's the issue?) if theres any other intended reward (i honestly kinda expected a little bit of conjuration xp at least, if not a spell) then i can't access it currently. i'd appreciate clarification on if i missed anything, if nothing else.

I'm glad at least one of the two i managed to get with my attempted workaround. Still baffled why i couldn't get it to work though. other animations prompted by this mod (going through the bloodcourt quests for instance) don't seem to have the same issues. My only guess is that it's freezing trying to interact with hentai pregnancy somehow, which i thought was just a soft integration, but i suppose must be a harder requirement...

In the Gilded Mine, for example, the game froze, as I understand it, the character was killed or is it a bug? It is not clear. Is there any meaning in this event? The story with the witches too, you go into the cave, they all attack, as a result, the alchemist's dialogue is frozen, since he was unable to deliver the parcel. I would like a list of events where the character is killed, so as not to waste time on them, because the previous save may be very far away. I already know that slavery events are 100% death, Gilded Mine = death. What else, can anyone suggest?

Then it starts. oh! thanks for this point of advice. i pulled up my save from that point and tried this, only to see that it apparently was attempting a rather normal animation instead of a creature animation with a seeker. i shifted the selected animation to the creature set and the animation started the moment i closed the menu, complete with effect text message and xp buff (but no spell, i suppose the quest isn't done judging by the message? still, greatly appreciated.

I can select them via MCM and then my character has them, but after applying the ink, my character got no tattoos and so no npc in the club has any of them. Has anybody an idea what can cause this?

To explain what is happening in that script: -it can only be obtained after passing a check for the presence of HP in another script, one of the initialization scripts iirc -once the effect starts on the character, it performs a further check for the C+SG addon for HP which gives actual childbirths, since base HP is a framework that provides a pregnancy process and a childbirth event, but doesn't actually produce a baby on its own -if C+SG is found, C+SG is disabled via the CPSG interface script to prevent the C+SG birth event hook from generating a child -dwsd ties into that specific added childbirth event in its place, to have the intended outcome If you can figure out how to do the conceptually the same thing in FM it will work, but I very much doubt it will be a direct 1:1 conversion and at the very least you are still looking at modifying multiple scripts.

I thought if I change the references to the pregnancy mod, everything will work. I found only two scripts, one has a reference to HP, the other to its addition with children. I thought if I write Fertility esm instead of HP, everything will work). Well, yes, it was stupid. To figure it out, I will have to study tons of material on CK, and I am not ready for this.

Sex scenes are triggered before there's a chance to exit the dialogue/messagebox, causing a softlock/freeze respectively. I assume this problem is present with base Sexlab as well but base Sexlab takes so long to start a scene it's unlikely to come up in normal play.

I'm fairly certain that all relevant dialogue is flagged "goodbye" with the fragment attached to dialogue end rather than start, and all the popup messageboxes are from base DwD and REPLACED by the sexlab hook in DwSD if loaded after the parent esp.

Presumably P+ is failing to initialize something while the gameworld is locked by the messagebox and failing. I can't say whether base Sexlab would do the same because it takes so long to initialize a scene in base Sexlab.

Open messageboxes freeze all papyrus threads until they are closed AFAIK, it should be actually impossible to start a scene via papyrus which a box is open. Does P+ not use papyrus?
