I did try them when I started modding, but it failed because of my lack of knowlegde. But yes it is doable. I don't really like those creepy zombies which is the reason I never tried it again. The other mod doesn't look very zombielike?

Ahhh i see. I did find a better texture update to the creepy zombies mod but i admit something more like the CC zombies or even that one posted in this thread would be better. Undead FX is cool, but i admit it doesn't fully lean into the rotting zombie vibe yeah.

Any idea if you'd look into alternatives? Like maybe find a retexture, extra something like creepy zombies and make your own 'true zombies'?
Not just for ABC but for general use too. I know i'd like actual zombie looking undead for a necromancer playthrough.

Yeah those cc zombies look cool. I haven't checked them out other than looking at pictures of them. I don't even know if they're included in the AE version?

 

About those other zombies "mentioned in this thread", is that the alternative draugr overhaul from Mandragorasprouts?

Yeah i was hoping i could find at least the textures/meshes for those zombies. As i don't think its included in AE (and even if it was, i just want the undead look not the 'zombie apocalypse' stuff lol).

And yeah the one from Mandragorasprouts. Its neat, not fully zombies but it certainly looks better than say Creepyzombies.
Could look very good with some editing to give it a less gray and more fleshy rotting look.

I seem to have obtained that CC zombie mod. The question is if this is useful for our purposes Thor.... *thiiiinks*

Good news everyone! I found an alternative source, i have the plague of the dead CC addon bsa and esl.
Thor2000 you think this could prove useful....?

For private use for those that already own the CC content, yes. For the rest of us, not so. Top reply in this reddit thread sums well up.

any way you'd be able to explain how one would for personal use?
~~or for others to make it work, but suspiciously missing the necessary textures/files which others can personally apply~~

Mostly i'm just curious how one would go about this. Like what you need to use from the mod, how you apply it (maybe without keeping the whole zomb apocalypse aspect everywhere. I know some modders like mihail have made overhauls to alter that issue)

Without purchasing the cc content itself? Well it must be set up just as any mod that brings a new creature into the game with a race, armor addon, armor and a npc record. Basically you can just use one of mihail's single creature mods as a base for learning. Preferably his zombie mod (if its not hidden) since it contains much of the zombie stuff already. There is already a MNC patch excisting made by Nessa to get the creatures working with sexlab. I know I saw it somewhere in the morenastycritters thread. I'm pretty sure someone already have all this set up already.

I'm experiencing an issue with many of the creatures that use custom races. When they're loaded in the game just stops. It doesn't necessarily CTD... I do have to manually close the game, but it may as well be a CTD as the game never starts responding again. This only happens with super specific creatures. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the mod, rebuilt all my animations in FNIS, etc with no luck. I wasn't having this issue just a few days ago when I was playing with the mod. I even started a new character to see if the issue was with my save but the same problem occurs on the new game as well. When it happens trainwreck doesn't generate a crash log either because that would be way too convenient. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

*Ok, getting even more specific. I've gone through individually spawning the creatures via console. So far it seems to only happen with Cyrodiilic Wolves and Durzogs.

That's weird. I don't have any good suggestions for you. Do you have any of mihail's mods installed before you added Demonic Creatures? Did you do anything special "a few days ago" when you didn't have the issues?

I should have elaborated on that, I work in IT I should have know better lol :3

Before this issue started happening I had rebuilt my bodies in body slide and re-ran FNIS (the bodies in question do have physics attached to them). I had also installed the customizable camera mod - though I have already tried uninstalling it and the issue persisted. Part of me thought it was an animation limit thing so I started by uninstalling various animation packs and recompiling FNIS, after that didn't work I installed the animation limit crash fixer, and confirmed the fixer was working, and the game still stops/crashes. Do the durzog and cyrodiilic wolf have something in common that you're aware of? I may just need to do a fresh install but like 200 mods lmao that's gonna take an afternoon if I'm lucky and everything works as intended.

Also yea I haven't used any of MihailMods creatures before.

Is it the same error behaviour if you start a new game from scratch? I'd try this first. It may help you determine if this is a setup related error or an error that persist in your save only (and I agree with your take on reducing animations if you're hitting the animation limit).

 

You say the game freezes when they spawn. Do the game freeze if you spawn them inside forexample Breezehome or any other small interior ocation with very little else going on?

 

Lastly, skeletons. I'm not in front of my computer, so I can't remember if durzogs and cyro wolves use custom skeletons. If they do, this suggestion is not helpful: You didn't by any chance install one of those skeleton replacers from rougeshot or some other creature skeleton replacer?

It has since decided to just start working properly again. I have no clue what the hell happened but I appreciate the help regardless. Thank youuu :)

I've been using this mod for ages now and I really like it! Completely forgot patrols were in it because I don't travel at night. Are there options to control when patrols happen? Also, I've noticed that the Wampa doesn't have any animations. I assumed it would use werewolf animations but it doesn't seem to, Creature frameworks has it set as mihailwompa race. I'm on 1.7 though so idk if that has been changed.

No you can't adjust them easily. I've been thinking about rescheduling them to happen earlier. I don't see them much either.

 

I plan to get the falmers to patrol when it's  raining or snowing. It will be more in accordance with the ingame lore and more immersive.

 

Wampa should have animations. At least they worked in LE. I haven't tested them myself in SE.

I am running 1.81 in AE and Wampa animations work (uses werewolf I believe). I was looking for the changelog for 1.82 but didn't find it on the front page. Is it in the file?

Hello there! I have a trouble with mushrooms: sex animation doesn't start when interacting with them. when i try to invite them with aroused creatures mod it says that Mushroom have no interest or doesn't know what to do.  What could be wrong? (Chicken's animation is working fine btw)

Aren't they explicitly called out in the document you can download as being inapplicable??
