Has OpenStarbound been suggested as an alternative to StarExtensions?
I haven't read through most of the pages, sorry if it was asked to death.

OpenStarbound IS StarExtension, but newer. So yes, it fulfils the same role.

Bet mb. starbound.log.txt Thanks

Your mods folder is full of varied versions of mods.
You have Sexbound Reborn and Sexbound OG installed at the same time, OG is replacing Reborn (This will affect trout population)
You also have all three PoV mods, which FullBody and Teratoscenes were incompatible, and neither was meant for OG Sexbound.
You have "Sexbound Futanari" is ancient and will break both of the above Sexbounds.
Same for "Extended Dialogues" and "Lustbound Base TentacleTweak". Former is included in Reborn, latter has never worked and will break Lustia. (Plus Lustbound Base IS part of Reborn)
I haven't tried the Terramon "Reskin" mods, so beware if they cause issues with those monsters.

Other than all that, it's honestly surprising your game launches with that blend of mixed and mismatched mods.

In the pregnancy config file (sxb_plugin.pregnant.config), enableCompatibleSpeciesOnly is enabled by default but the compatibility list is empty for every species. Is this something I need to edit? It does mention that "all" can be used as a placeholder, but would putting "all" do anything?

By default (with "compatibleSpeciesOnly" enabled), only compatible species can make babies - which essentially breaks down to needing a same-species partner. Mod creators can assign their species a "speciesType" to make native compatibility (as Humans and Apex do, they can natively cross-breed); otherwise the player can fill out the "compatibleSpecies" table make species of their choosing compatible despite all else.

Putting, e.g., "humans": "all" there makes Human males able to impregnate any species.

So turns out it's because the Cum for breakfast had the wrong version in it, so I removed that pack aka removing OG, I also removed the pov sets and the extended, futa, and the Tentacle Tweak and Base, but for some reason it's not crashing this time at least, but the nodes don't activate with the bow. Is there something else sneaking about? starbound.log Also how do I tell where the errors are from the Log so that I don't have to keep poking yall, also sorry ;-;

You have both old and new Lustbound Omnibrowser Addon (with the newer one winning) and both new and old Sexbound (with the old one winning, hence everything is fucked).

Please forgive my inexperience with modding but I need a little help with the pregnancy config.
I have the following mods:

Cuteness Unbound - Harpies by Heemi with sexbound mod support using SxB - Harpies Unbound

Lamia Race by Antyrus with Make the Lamia a cuter race with sexbound mod support using SxB - Lamia Support 1.0.0

Neki by Juni with Neki AlterEars by Turov with sexbound mod support using SxB - AlterEars + NekiFloof

I added "harpy" and "lamia" in the config manually as they were not present.

Assuming all of this is working together correctly, I was wondering if I set up the pregnancy config correctly?

And if I have, how would I set up the config under pregnancy type so that harpies and lamias with compatible species (humans, neki, and each other) have egg type pregnancies regardless if the which gender the lamia or harpy is in the pairing?

The compatibleSpecies config is correct.

As for the "egg type pregnancy" - you don't. Noone made a dedicated egg pregnancy type yet, the only thing in vanilla SxB is that the pregnancy involves an egg whenever one of the partners is a monster, not humanoid.

For making your first post on this site screaming at me in Russian, all I'm gonna do is point out you clearly did not look hard enough as this question has been asked a million times and answered a million times, here, on Nexusmods and even in the Discord.

I wrote for the owners of 2 languages, so that at least one of them would answer. The post is not angry and nothing offensive was written. Alas, I searched enough, but it's difficult to scroll through almost 100 pages of comments. That's why I'm writing here so that someone can help me.

Even with what I've found on nexusmods now, I haven't found the answer, just that the NPCs are "not aroused."  Only the table brings up the action window for me, and it's empty. An NPC can stand next to me and flash hearts and run after me, but there are no interactions. I just don't understand how to start interacting...

Hey, thanks for the dope mod, my girlfriend and I love it! I'm getting back into Starbound after a very long hiatus and am I'm still getting up to speed with the transition from the original to Reborn, so sorry if this is a dumb question! I'm sure it's a matter of PEBCAK, but I'm having an issue between Aphrodite's Bow and crewmembers. Whenever I use it on them they become nodes with max arousal as they should, but I can't actually initiate anything (interacting with E just doesn't work). I ended up dismissing them (not remembering that dismiss = permanently remove, sadly) and they beamed out (with the beam appearing on the node), but the nodes stayed and could be interacted with. When the timer was up, the interaction auto-ended and the node disappeared completely. I just found Corbent's crew mod which allows me to force-move crewmates, so I'm gonna see if it's a weird layering issue of some sort since the beam coming from the same spot as the node makes me think that maybe the crew interaction is overriding the SexNode interaction? I am using FU (which I know apparently has a...storied...history with SxB) on a Protectorate BYOS, but the crewmates were a human woman and floran man, not an FU race thing. I personally am playing an FU race (at least until my remaster/rework of the Draconis race is done), but I default to human for SxBR scenes and I just copied the human folder and renamed it to elduukhar to make POV Redux work, but everything else besides this has worked perfectly fine (spare for an NPC or two here and there not reacting to the bow at all, but some of them are vanilla races but FU added, so I just chalk it up to that). The only other thing I can think of is a random penguin joining in on an interaction I was having and jarringly morphed into a bald white man before my eyes, and when I try to join ongoing interactions (at appropriate 3-person furniture nodes) the whole scene becomes invisible until they switch positions (but again, playing an FU race so I take it as a personal problem lol), but the former isn't a complaint so much as it's just kinda hilarious.

I checked Google, the troubleshooting section on the repo, and I couldn't find anything in regards to it, so if I missed something then I'm truly sorry for wasting your time!

You can refer to https://github.com/ErinaSugino/Starbound-SBR-Mod/wiki/Using-the-mod#usage and also a piece of information, the "Following you with hearts" is just a personality trait for NPCs, they just do that, entirely unrelated to arousal or anything. That is a Vanilla behaviour of "Flirty" NPCs.

To make an NPC be maxed on arousal to join you on said table, you can use a mod such as the Aphrodite's Bow "Right-click function", Lewdbound's "Lewd Magazine", or the Statue of Dibella, all of which max the arousal.

After that, if there are issues of characters being invisible on beds/tables, that is a separate problem entirely.

Also beware that sometimes, modders make NPC types that don't inherit from the base types, and thus they are "immune to Sexbound" effects. This varies on a mod-by-mod basis, but any Vanilla Villager, Crewmember or Merchant should work.

I personally have a similar issue and i'm uncertain what is the exact cause of it, as i presume it is likely related to crew-rework mods such as Crew Customization and such, but i haven't taken the time to break my saves and test it;

Yes, the problem seems to be that the crew member's AI is not properly being "disabled" when they become a node, unlike most NPCs. They are always there, invisible when transformed, even normal NPCs, but their "interact" function is blocked and they are "stunned" as to not attempt to move or anything. This seems to not be the case for Crew-members in certain modpack configurations. They will remain "active" and even more around while still transformed, but invisible. You can still see they where they are by using the Left Alt key, to highlight interactables (And render names/statuses). Usually what happens is that they both are still actively a interact hitbox, or join their own node, and the API knows better than to start self-cest...

As for certain crew-member types, yeah, FU does the thing mentioned above, they have "fucrewmember" type that doesn't inherit Sexbound data/scripts, so they just are immune to all Sexbound stuff. We just consider that a incompatibility, and given the history you've written about earlier, we cannot do anything about it. Same probably goes for many NPC types they add.

I don't have a good solution other than "Max their arousal" with the Bow's Right-click function, instead of the Left-click, and place Sexbound-enabled furniture. If you can manage to be quick, you can enter the furniture before their hitbox "clogs it" and prevents interaction.

If one could figure this one out, i'd appreciate it too!

Ayy, you're the dude (gender neutral) behind the POV Redux mod I use, it's an honor! A bit of schadenfreude to see it's not just happening to me, but at least I know it's not exclusively a me problem. So, I had no idea that the right click functionality was even a thing, so thank you for that! I was confused b/c the vids I had seen didn't show the whole "arrow lands, beeps, explodes" effect when they did it (but that was from OG SxB so I figured it was a difference in iterations), so I guess that explains it lol. I used it with the saloon table (I'm actually having a really hard time finding furniture nodes, and the item that attempts to convert it to a sexnode doesn't seem to be working for me, so I have to experiment more to see what I'm doing wrong) and everything worked as expected; crewmate walked over, stood on top in rudeform, and we were able to do the deed! Do you happen to know if there's a list somewhere or any way otherwise to indicate which furniture objects are sexnode compatible? I have the vanilla wiki open to make sure I'm not actually placing down an FU table or one from another mod like Arcana (idk if there's compatibility between Arcana and SxBR, but to my knowledge they're at least not trying to actively sabotage anything lol) since I figured the safest assumption was that vanilla furniture had the highest chance of being compatible. But I can't seem to get anything to work, other than a couple tables (a wooden one in a Floran home on the starting planet, and the saloon one). If there isn't a list or way to check in-game, that could be something useful for Erina to potentially add in a future update if they're so inclined, just like a tooltip or something that says "Node" or SxB Compatible".

I'm gonna start a new save, Item Spawn myself some things to quickstart into normal gameplay, then test the crewmember interactions without the mods I have that edit them active (Corbent's, Crew Customization+, Unlimited Active Crewmembers, and Unlimited Crew Size). Do you use any of those three? I know you specifically mentioned Crew Customization+, so I assume you at least have that one so I'll start by toggling that off and seeing if it helps. I'm pretty sure it's not CII, since I downloaded that after I had the issue to see if the crewmover tool would help (which I just now realized forgot to test, so I'll do that after I do the mod testing). I'll be sure to report my findings here, and hopefully it's something that either Erina or the CC+ dev (or the dev of w/e mod is causing the conflict) can fix without too much hassle on themselves ^-^

[I use OpenStarbound]

Confirmed Non-Problematic

Vanilla(ish) SxBR (I tested with only SxBR and non-workshop SxBR addons and it worked fine)

Corbent's Interactive Crew

Crew Customization+
NPCSpawner+
Unlimited Active Crewmembers

Unlimited Crew Size

Update: I'll be a son of a bitch, it's Frackin'. After toggling off those mods above and seeing that it wasn't changing, I had the bright idea to disable Frackin' Universe next...and it worked. I did try, btw, not using a Frackin' Race and choosing a Vanilla ship in the beginning, but it still didn't work. Disabling it, however, allowed it to work.

Been a while since I've looked in here, but I can see from the git that things are still being worked on.

I've been curious about this for a while with all the mods that require osb in the workshop nowadays, but does anyone know if it might actually do something to the game that would make sexbound or other nsfw mods able to be more in-depth in any capacity?

I don't really know what osb does for the game outside of now being frequently used and good to use overall compared to the vanilla game.
