FU causes some crew issues where their AI/Behaviour ignores Sexbound flags/stun/invisibility and they fail to properly transform at times. But the main issue is the crew that is from FU, as it is not inheriting Sexbound code, and thus, they will not transform. Similarly, modded crew from other mods will often also have this issue.

So, if I understand correctly, any mod that changes crew behavior is not compatible with this mod, but those that change clothing are.

"Change Crew Behaviour" is a bit misleading, the changes in FU by themselves don't break the crew completely, but do cause some issues. What mainly "Breaks Crew" is mods that add in custom crew member types that do not "inherit" from the original "base crew". "Crew that is entirely custom-written roles". This is easy to solve by either the mod creators or support creators for those mods (Except FU as we will not support it).

You noticed it affecting NPCs, and that's the bulk of it, but it does impact fertility, I think. You can modify the effect in the config file, and it's a tool modders can use if they want it, like if they want to add more things that interact with a player's horny status. I don't recall seeing anything else it currently does 1

Indicates you are at 50%+ arousal Pent Up: speed -10% randomly for 10s with a 10% chance, -10% strength, +10% fertility Heat: The same but with moaning Suppressed Heat: Half of that with no fertility bonus

I place a node item down next to one, wait, nothing happens, shoot them with the aphrodite bow, wait, nothing happens, spawn basic villagers, guards, crewmembers, practically anyone else I can think of, shoot them all with the bow, get the max arousal message, put down an additional sxb bed, wait, and nothing happens. I don't have FU installed, is there some config file I didn't modify or is there only one very specific type of npc you can bang. I even swapped to only sexbound mod and tried with no real success.

Aphrodite's Bow RMB attack maxes their arousal so they should go to an available sexnode. Since it apparently doesn't we need to look at your log file. 1

Most positions require penetration-ability in Reborn. If you are a female/alt-male (cuntboy) character, then it'll generally not let you swap. If your character is male or the monster the female, then other things can happen, but also, do check if your mods are updated. Teratophilia had an update to remove the "force-role" value from monsters that CAN swap positions, so they would play nice with this update, a long time ago. 1

You need to un-pak the NekiSxB mod (which means using the game's own "asset_unpacker.exe" in the "win32" folder of your Starbound installation, not something like 7zip an don'T even dare opening a .pak file in a text editor.) In the no un-paked mod folder, you go to "species/neki.species.path" and remove the line that says something about "infertile". Just remove the whole line, start to end. Now you need to remove the .pak mod so your modified folder version takes priority, and from there on out, every newly initialized Neki will no longer be infertile. Existing NPCs though are lost causes, and if you are a female Neki as the player you will need to remove the already existing infertility via the Sexbound Customizer UI.

Easiest to achieve with a mod like Aphrodite's Bow which lets you make NPCs horny on command.
