Arousal does nothing.

Strong arousal reduces attack strength by 10%, randomly reduces movement speed by 10% for 10 seconds and increases fertility by 10%.

Heat does strong arousal + moaning.

Weak heat does everything from moaning in half and no fertility bonus.

Okay, but that doesn't tell me how to stop it from happening. I'd like to fuck at my own pace, not cause the game is telling me to. Or at least less often than it currently is. Like I said, my character gets horny every 3-4 minutes.

Then just turn it off. Main config file, something something "playerArousalEffects" or debuffs or how I named it.

Or adjust the "naturalHorninessRate" to be lower - though this also affects all NPCs in the world. And sounds like the setting is already tempered with, as the default rate at which 0-100 arousal is gained is 3-7 in-game days (at 840 seconds per day).

Whenever i try to do anything with SxB, nothing happens. I tried using sex toys (player goes invisible), shooting NPCs with a bow (they just die when interacted with) and using CritterBang (critters are invisible). I also removed relayer, which didn't seem to do anything. The only big Steam mod i have is Betabound. Any help?

That is not a valid version number of Sexbound Reborn. Unless you have manually edited the version number in the config file, only conclusion I can draw from this is you have an old config lying around from Original Sexbound - and then not even the newest version of that.

 

I'd recommend you freshly install SBR, removing ALL previous files.

 

Besides that, your log shows errors within vanilla functions, meaning that either one of your Steam mods overrides core functionality in a disruptive way and is fully incompatible with anything else, or something bigger is amiss.

This *is* a completely fresh install. That's weird.

...Oh. I had an entire galaxy's worth of random files in my user asset folder. Weird. I don't remember putting any there. One of them *was* an ancient SxB config, though. Works now, mostly.

There's nothing in the log, the arcade just isn't there (my universe flags are in endgame state).

 

EDIT: would it be possible to put a copy of it somewhere? In the SxB planet, maybe?

The arcade? Why yes, it is part of the "Lustbound Omnibrowser Addon". Since you do not have that installed, it does not exist.

I'm working on adding a non-functional version of the arcade to base Lustia, so it doesn't magically expand when the corresponding addon is installed, but other than that there is no point in adding the full arcade anywhere else, as it would be missing all its items and function without the right mod installed.

can anyone tell me if family memers can be given jobs

 

i know  they can become crew but they dont actually do anything as a cew member, just follow me around and dont even fight

 

ive tryed the mod job offers, but it dosent seem to work, probably because they are already crew members

 

i just dont want to end up with a load of useless family on my ship

I know the mod Job Offers does work, as long as you haven't already recruited the npc.

 

You can try Crew Customization + to customize the crew member's weapons (by copying your own weapons), if you want to give the current crew members weapons, or just dismiss em using SAIL.

so just to clear things up in the future

 

i just ask a family member to join my crew using a job offer

 

or refuse them as crew and then offer them a job

 

once part of the crew they can only be dismissed into oblivion

 

there jobs cannot be re-assigned

 

but i can give them weapons using the custom crew + mod which basically makes them a foot soldier

That's the first time I've heard of that. Sexbound *shouldn't* to my knowledge mess with any of the vanilla stuff, just add more data to npctypes that allows sexability, so it shouldn't be able to mess with it - but feel free to drop a log file so we might take a look at what's going on.

managed to get a captured pet to damage the outlaw into a sexbound state once the timer runs out in sex bound the outlaw comes back with the handcufs on and i can then press e to apprehend.

 

so it seems i need to force them into the sexbound state before i can capture them... but the bow doesnt seem to work .

 

not sure

 

i'll post a log file next time i have the issue.

Im sorta confused. Im not sure what im supposed to do once I attach the the furniture hook thing to a bed. My character lays down there naked with the UI wheel, but no npc comes up to initiate coitus. The UI wheel is also empty with no positions available or anything. I went through troubleshooting section and made sure everything is installed correctly. Please forgive my ignorance

Sounds like everything is working correctly.

Positions only show up when they are available, and all positions currently in the game require at least two people.

NPCs only join sexnodes on their own volition when their arousal is at 100, which is on a 3-7 in-game days timer (only ticking when they are loaded in)

Reinstalled this mod 2 times and bugs still happening

Error seems to say "Actor2Ears" are missing, which implies something is replacing the entire artwork file with another one;
Do try to remove the GiC Sexbound mod and checking if the issue persists. There was a update pushed to remove the animation file from it at one point, so you can download it again and it should fix the issue.

Other than that i don't see any known issue mods right away. If you claim to have installed it multiple times then that rules out mod injections and weirdly placed sub-mods, but it is still a folder...

if an npc is not on the bed FIRST it will be just your character on the bed waiting

 

it is a bit of a pain sometimes because i found that if you activate the bed and not the icon above the bed it will just kick the other person out of the waiting posittion and put you in the bed sleeping

and its not so easy to activate the icon instead of the bed because the icon tends to be hidden once someone is in the waiting position

 

i found the best way was to shoot a npc that was near the bed with the bow then they walk over to the bed and lay down and you can activate the icon above the bed

 

if you use a bed (or other furniture) that has the (sxb) already attached you dont have to faf about half as much it just works better

 

so either wait till an npc is in the waiting position or shoot them with the bow to 'encorage' them towards the bed
