On a serious note, the functionality you want, is likely just changing a setting in Sexbound Reborn;
Removing the limitation of males not being able to be Futanari. After that's done, setting your sub-gender to Futanari should make the PoV work fine.

It's best not to alter the image files, because they're tied to the logic in the scripts.

Well, you downloaded Sexbound Reborn, no?

It should have two separate files, the mod in it's PAK form, and the folder full of configs (that should also go in your mods folder) or...
The unpacked folder, which is the mod + the configs inside.

Inside the configs, there is a file called "sxb_plugin.subgender.config", and that file looks something like this;

Smiply remove the:

"futanari" : "female", 

And it should allow males to be futanari as well. PoV accounts for this and has separate assets for male futas and female futas.

One more thing, I'm trying to get the Gleap +1.0 mod to work but it won't work, I have temtems teratoscenes installed and pov redux obv here's a pic of them set up, I also have Frackin' Universe installed if that means anything

Other than that, i think the idea behind that mod is replacing the cutscene files in the other mod, with the engorged ones. However i do not know all of it's inner workings, i do know this should all in theory work, if the .frames files are there too? Can always ask the Cutscene lad, @TemtemLover.

So I was wondering if I have to wait a while to get the pregnant status effect?
Because for some reason rn it's not popping up for me and I don't appear pregnant in povs, or during sex.
I was also wondering if there was a way to make my character look pregnant outside of sex?

Long version:

In SBR it is intended that the effects of pregnancy only become visible half-way through the pregnancy. After all, you don't just explode frame one IRL too.

 

No, it is currently mostly impossible to display pregnancy sprites outside of sexnodes, and the few options that would technically allow it come with so many downsides or compromises that it's not really worth it at the moment.

What if you take the pregnant belly sprite that appears over the woman's torso during sex and transform it into an equippable back item?

This way women could sport a pregnant belly whenever they want.
And on top of that, it would be a cool item to have even without the Sexbond.

 

I remember that the pregnant belly that appears during sex was a separate sprite, because sometimes there was an error where the belly appeared separate from the body floating next to the actors during sex.

It is a separate sprite. And you could turn it into a back item - or probably rather a chest item, because layering, clipping and all that stuff. Better forcibly remove chest armor rather than having your belly clip partially through armor.

 

And while that would get the job done - in a way - it falls under the "downsides" category. First we need the pregnant belly sprites turned into armor sprites. Some parts of armor, like chest, cannot even be animated I think. it takes away a slot of wearables, which makes this solution, as you suggested, "choose your own cosmetic pregnancy" only - as enforcing that item via script onto your cosmetic slot when your pregnant is a too big inconvenience for the player.

 

So yes, it is doable - but not a solution I'd officially choose. I'd rather wait for proper dll modding capabilities to just... make Starbound entities suck less.

Wish I could make mods because I would probably make a mod like that if I could, it would be an inconvenience taking up a vanity slot but I barely wear anything on my chest spot anyways so it'd be a plus for me lol

What is supposed to happen is that your character stands/lies there nude and the UI with the control opens.

If they edit the exact same files, the later loaded mod overrides the previously loaded mod.

If you make your own, singular mod with both mods' files - just keep the version you want.

so, if what I got from that is I should be this.

 

saucy statues

start game to load the mod.

then install big Futa statues next.

then start the game again and some of the files that are from saucy will be overwritten with big Futa ones (saucy has some retextures that big Futa doesn't have like posters)

 

if this is what you're telling me then thanks. now just need to find more mods like this.
