There's the possibility that a moderator jumped the gun and made a mistake. Not everyone knows the context and also the mod creator didn't post anything else about the situation. So we're kinda in the dark about what is going on.

The tag was definitely not intended for enabling harassment but in order for them to receive a notification.
They could use it as a chance to properly investigate any potential misunderstanding.
Of course, if there is truly a rogue moderator deleting the file on purpose, they should only be dealt with in accordance with LoversLab rules and not attacked personally.
Either way, I do apologize if none of the moderators were deleting the patch on purpose but I do feel that we need some official statement in order for any suspicions to be cleared.

Of course it makes no sense to delete the uncensored dialogues mod, as it's just a 1:1 translation of the japanese texts that are already included in every copy of the game which is rated 12+ ... Everyone who knows japanese or uses Google translate while playing can read that anyway.

 

Also modding is not forbidden on switch. If you mod it you break their eula and it states that you lose your right for repairs or warranty problems and can ban you from their online services. thats all they are legally allowed to do.

Actively biting the moderators over this is probably not a good idea, considering that ***if*** the thread does get pruned because the discourse of a single mod it'll have invalidated the work of all the other mods present in the thread. It'll sort itself out, or the mod will be hosted offsite.

If it's you asking why your mod was pruned then its fine, it's a problem when the thread devolves into multiple people actively harping on it.
Like, I agree, I'm curious about the reason too because I want to use the JP translation mod too. But if I start going like "Hey mods what the fuck" Then it stops being constructive and starts clogging the thread.

In short, it's better if the one person asks the mods and everyone just kinda chills and works on their own in the mean time. I've been thinking of revising the nude texture but it wont matter in the mean time if when I finished the thread's gone because it derailed into finger pointing.

TLDR; Its better to have the person who had their mod removed ask why as opposed to the thread becoming a finger pointing contest.

It's bad enough having to deal with the anti-loli people on Twitter, Nexusmods, Gamebanana, and now we have one of them moderating this underground-ish site? That's too much. If that's what it is, then what's the point of running this website? May as well just use Nexusmods and get those people moral-policing our mods.

Removing comments without any notification is very poor moderation.
This website so far gives me the impression to be cherry-picking about what is allowed and what is not.
And none of this has anything to do with legality.
Loli content, while not appealing to everyone is fully legal in the US as already proven many times (still, Fire Emblem Engage ONLY has text which is not even M rated).
So since it's not about legality, is it about morality?
I have seen much less morally acceptable things on this website than Fire Emblem Engage patch which isn't even M rated.

With everything written so far, I came to the conclusion that someone from LoversLab's moderation team has a personal agenda against lolis even if they are in a non-sexual context.

I would love to hear an official statement from the moderation team but so far, the evidence does not look good for them.

This is just how LL is now. I suggest seeking out alternative sites for getting adult mods. Nexus, GB and LL are not fit for adult mods anymore.

 

I understand the motivations behind the HL stuff. Was it hypocritical? Absolutely. But you could still understand the reasoning behind it. But this?

 

If it's gotten to the point where they're deleting literal word for word translations of what is already in the game...then there is no saving it. There is no logic behind this anymore.

I came back to check for updates and to see if I received any responses just too find that my comments were deleted with no warning. Is this normal for lovers lab? I just signed up today. All I wanted was to play my games the way they were made without content disappearing or changing in transit. I don't think localizers or translators know the intended impact, meaning, story, etc. Better than the original creators. I don't think it's right to change other peoples art to fit better with your views. Spreading different views and sharing knowledge and culture is how we grow as humans...Thankfully some people feel the same and try their best to restore the art and share it with the community and I want to say thank you to those people, and to those that block their attempts Please allow us to enjoy the artist work the way they intended. okay, I decide to try mod the skin myself and some help from nenekomoriron, I finally able to make this

Japanese Hakama Style, the base is from a kimono apron DLC inspired by 1 of Erza from Fairy Tail dress, there are 2 versions 

 

with Sarashi + Fundoshi

 

without undies

the animation is clean without bugs, have triple-checked it, and works well in hardware or emulator

 

it's not fully nude so not all of the users here interested I guess

Hello. I don't know whether the uncensor modder would read this before they commence banning of comments but I have read about the news of your work and the unfair banning of both GB and LL.

 

I want to say I 100% stand behind your dedication of giving us true and faithful translation and fully disagree with the decision of both LL and GB administration in this case. I thank the modder for your hard work and hope you will not give up and continue to work on uncensoring the rest of scripts. LL and GB have made themselves known where they stood in this culture war where westerners keep appropriating other's works. Please upload your next patch on other websites and I'm sure us who want to play the game with faithful translation would find our way to that upload even if it's google who want to censor it.

 

Again, thank you for your wonderful work. I'd understand if you feel disheartened at this turn of event and give up on re-translating the rest of dialogues but I want to say that unless we make it clear that people who play localized games are not beguiled by this kind of dishonesty it'd just keep happening again in the future.
