SexLab P+

Just went to try this out in my Skyrim VR install and while it appears all human animations load fine (haven't tested playing yet as I don't have a quick way to do it) not a single creature animation shows up in the animation list. the animation packs show up, but are completely empty.

This may be a dumb question but how do I start scenes, also it says Creature Framework downgraded to pre2 when I have pre2A

I have all the requirements installed correctly, and version 2.15.6 worked without any issues. However, in version 2.17.1, the enjoyment bars don’t work. They remain frozen if the climax type is set to orgasm stages. They work if I change Orgasm Stages to SLO, but with SLO mods (Radiant Prostitution, for example), they don’t receive information that the player or client had an orgasm, and the arousal level doesn’t reset. I also noticed in debug MCM that RaceMenu is displayed as not installed (red cross) even though I have it installed correctly. Game version 1.6.1170

I've installed SexLab P+ along with two other adult mods - Private Needs Orgasm and Defeat Updated by Bane Master. For animations I've installed BakaFactory SLAL pack. This setup did work properly for a while, but I've been trying to use PNO effects during scenes and I suppose must have broken something along the way. Not sure how since I think I've been only playing around with the in-game animation menu and moved the load order a bit. Either way - Defeat scenes simply refuse to work now and give me the "Failed to add actor - - they are not a valid target for animation" message in the console. Error code is -16. 

 

I've tried reinitializing SexLab and reinstalling everything SexLab-related together with all requirements alongside sorting the plugins with LOOT and moving them around in various ways, but nothing seems to help. Rest of my mods are just mesh and texture replacers so wouldn't expect any conflicts there. 

 

I should mention that PNO animations on their own are indeed working and simply removing P+ in favor of regular SexLab does fix the issue with Defeat not working. Still I'd prefer to use P+ if anyone knows how to potentially fix this.

does NG means I need to start a new game?

Actually NG is short for New Generation. Did you check the description? When a new game is necessary, typically the author will include that info in the description. Having just read it, I would say "no" but YMMV.

just an fyi I went and tried a clean save with minimal mods (I have all requirements) and the MCM menu doesn't even work. It's added to the list of menus but when I try to open it, it's empty. I checked the script logs and the only errors were the expected ones from OSLAroused's DD compat (since I didn't have DD installed)
So either it doesn't currently work in VR still, or there's something more to the installation process that's not in the installation guide.

Hi!

 

I'd like to use Sexlab P+ over my current SLU+ setup, but it seems every time I try it, there various issues with it that's driving me nuts.

 

Could someone clarify a few things for me:

1. Is it correct to assume that the SLSO-like enjoyment sliders are ONLY available when using the "new and modern" UI. It seems that they never appear if I try to use "legacy" shortcuts (introduced in 21.7.1), which I much prefer. This seems like a bug to me.

2. Most of the time I try to use the "move scene" feature, it seems that it simply does not allow me to move the character afterwards, and none of the other hotkeys works afterwards, so I am forced to wait 30 seconds, after which the animation will restart. Maybe I have a conflicting mod causing this, as this seems like something that would not pass a simple test....

3. I'm used to being able to control the "Phoneme" modifiers for various expression, most important of which is "Open Mouth", which is used both for Oral animations and for Sexlab Survival Open Mouth feature. But as far as I can work out, this cannot be modified in this. This is kind of important as based on the expression mods you have installed, you will very much be needing different modifiers.

 

If I could figure out how to solve these three issues then I feel like I would be ready to make the switch (Perhaps I could get around the the first issue by simply getting used to the new UI, but this still seems like a genuine bug).

The main reason I have not tried P+ is because SLSO-like enjoyment was not fully implemented, according to the old documentation. The updated documentation shows that it is implemented now? Maybe with a few bugs, given the last few comments, but I assume that will be fixed.

 

I like the look of some of the new API functionality and statistic tracking, and some of it would be useful in my own experiments. So I am now very interested in trying it. I have just a few questions.

 

Animation Limit: The documentation says that mods using the legacy sslBaseAnimation class are limited to the first thousand human and creature animation slots. What does that mean practically? Is it "all mods that start an SL scene and have not been updated for P+", or is it "only a few mods that are using this specific API, versus other SL API options"? Also, is there any reason that P+ can't incorporate sslAnimationSlots 3000? Obviously this patch would not work for P+ directly, but it could presumably be incorporated into it. I always figured that most SL users would be using this patch to raise the animation limit anyway, so I'm surprised that the P+ rewrite doesn't also throw it in.

 

DD NG: What does "minor incompatibilities" mean? Is it closer to "P+ will totally ignore DDs when setting up a scene", or "sometimes P+ won't filter out animations perfectly", or what?

 

Voice Packs: I see that legacy voice packs don't work. Is it easy enough to kitbash up a voice pack in the new format with existing resources, or is it more complicated than that (format conversions of large numbers of files, etc.)?

Can't seem to be able to convert some SLAL packs myself. Did all the tutorial and every time I run the game I get into a T-Pose without even starting a sex scene. Animations are registered in the MCM so it does work partially.

Packs made by other people works but can't figure out why my own conversions just breaks.

Maybe I'm not understanding something, but sometimes during a scene with the player character, the other actor disappears, particle style, like they were in the way of the camera viewing something. Often for the full scene. Is there a way I can prevent this? This is on P+ NG on 1170.

I am facing the same issue as well. No idea what's going on here. 

Edit: I tried swapping from SLO Aroused NG to OSL Aroused and it fixed the issue. Perhaps it is due to some sort of initialization issue of the SLO mod after update.

i am having alignment problems for some reason very bad problems i dont know why even on a small testing modlist and a clean install they wont fix please can i get some assistance

it means you have a missing requirement. It happen to me too, it's just I have eyes and brain to read the description for what is the installation guide and its requirements.

That would be the assumption but I triple-checked and I have all the listed requirements in the installation guide.

it  was one i had like 320 but then i realized sexlab wasnt working so i made this test one but to test why im having this issue

I'm not getting any voices to choose from on a fresh install, I know it says to install P+ compatible voice packs but I can't seem to find any? And doesn't P+ come with some voices with the mod itself?

Thanks for your solution. But sadly its still nothing for me. Enmjoyment bars are still frozen if climax type is set to orgasm stages, and radiant prostitution says that client did not come if climax type is set to slo. But arousal level at least resets now if player had an orgasm during the scene if climax type is slo.
