SexLab p+ 1.2.3

PLEASE READ:

Updating requires you to reset your animation registry, tough a clean save is recommended, independent of which version you are updating from

  • Fixed an issue with Actor keys causing gender assignments to be unreliable
  • Fixed females using strap-ons in animations they arent intended to use one
  • Fix genders & creatures not being recognized correctly (even when the actor key is correct)
  • Fixed animation swaps ('O' by default) not functioning correctly

Ive now also added a .dll for 1.6.353

About reporting issues:

When you find a bug in SLp+ please ensure that the mod is installed correctly, this means that you ensured to either start a new game (recommended) or properly disabled and cleaned your save from any SexLab mods before installing SLp+. A lot of issues can be prevented by ensuring that you do not have anything from default SL left in your game

If you are sure that p+ is installed correctly, I expect that any bug/crash report is accompanied by the following:

  • The mod which started the glitched/crashing scene
  • A description of what exactly is wrong with the animation (a screenshot or video can also be very valuable)
  • A papyrus log with papyrus logging enabled
  • In case of ctds, a crashlog. If no crash log was printed, I still want to be informed that there was no log created. This too can be valuable information

I try my best to address every issue as quickly as possible, but I can only fix issues that I do understand :)

I was not expecting the war in ukraine to affect me in this way.

First SUM cannot recognise it

Just edit the SUM's System file to add 2.0.0 to the list of sexlab versions. If you're not sure how to do this, it will be somewhere in the SUM support thread. Here's what it looks like in MO2's editor:

Was gonna report an issue with the alignment hotkeys, but I read the description first and saw that, so yeah

But, not sure if you counted it all together, but selecting characters in a scene also doesn't work (IE, changing from adjusting the position of actor 1 to changing the position of actor 2)

Other than that, this is actually really great. Biggest issue in my game currently is the time it takes for SL scenes to start (took upwards of 10 seconds on average, often longer), but with this, it's instant. So great work!

I need a full papyrus log, a crash log, the mod which started the ctd causing animation and a description of what exactly happened before the crash, i.e. did you hear any sound effect, see any actors twitching, ... and ideally if you can reproduce it reliably

Otherwise I cant help you

That isnt implement and is low priority as I believe that feature has little value in p+ as actors can no longer be animated in invalid positions anyway

That mod should be fully compatible, its odd like you half of my own script and the other half from somewhere else in your game. Did you install p+ in a running game? Perhaps it was just a leftover stack from before you installed p+

You shouldnt just overwrite SL with p+, you need a clean save at the very least and make sure no mod is interacting with sexlab during the swap :)

I intend to be fully compatible with DD. I even checked which functions from SL it uses and have it installed in my own game during tests at all time without issues

When exactly does it crash for you & a crash log + papyrus log would be useful

The log tells me it stripped 3 items off of you:

[Armor < (000330BC)>], [Armor < (000261BD)>], [Armor < (000261C0)>]

and 1 weapon:

[WEAPON < (000001F4)>]

These are vanilla weapon/armor pieces, Id assume default gear from your alt start mod

Yay second time it's working (I let it overwrite everything)..... Question it overwrite Separate Orgasm is it good? And it seems SUM problem will also be solved. Thanks guy.

p+ is incompatible with SLSO

One feature I always wanted to see in Sexlab is an option to reset animation stage to 1, when switching ( with default key O ) to a different animation. Any plans for something like this?

This is the default behavior in p+

Strip settings in SexLab MCM arn't working at all.

Quote

SEXLAB - Thread[1] ActorAlias[Test Girl/2]  - <Strip> Left Weapon: None | Right Weapon: [WEAPON < (000001F4)>] | Equipment: [[Form < (00012E46)>], [Form < (00012E49)>], [Form < (00012E4B)>], [Form < (00012E4D)>]]

Log says that 4 slots aside weapon (head, body, gloves, boots) were stripped off when starting the scene but actually I've set them all as "Never Remove." Also stockings (using slot 53) are never removed no matter how strip setting is done.

SkyrimSE1.5.97, Sexlab 1.63, P+ 1.2.3:

Over twenty bandits and necromancers taught the error of their ways, no observed crashes or serious issues.  Start times were pretty snappy.  Most notable flaw was the lack of re-positioning controls.

Im currently working on re-implementing this and the "move-scene" feature, alongside looking into what exactly the issues with stripping are

Does that mean that it is build with SL VR patch in mind?

No, it means that the dll I made for p+ is compatible with VR, and for the time being I intend to have it stay that way... until the day where I begin implementing UI features

p+ is compatible with anything that doesnt overwrite its files

The only exception thus far is SUM (whatever that is) which does some super strict version validation

Did a quick test with .353 with new save (heavy with mods), and seemed to install properly, and animation started with no problems (lightning fast I may add).

Will do more testing with heavy load order.

The instant animations is huuuge improvement, worth any downsides atm like no position adjustments.

I did see one alignment problem (not sure if fixable), when one npc was leaning on table, and started scene with other npc, I think due to the table their alignment didn't match.

Wait you got furniture animations to work and align properly?? This has been an ongoing problem with the mod.

A screenshot would be useful when you encounter issues like that, so I can picture what exactly is wrong

Also was that a furniture animation affected by furniture framework?

is there a capability/incapability list we can follow?

the biggest incompatibility right now is SLSO.

most mods should be fine tho.
