SL Tools is not redundant (yet), it's incompatible. It will be made redundant in the future when Phase 3 (the UI) is published.

  When my Sexlab Gender is set to Futa it will only play animations that are specifically tagged as futa, and I can't find a way to change that. The "Filter Strictness" setting doesn't make a difference and adding the tag with SLATE doesn't work either. I considered disabling gender restrictions and manually disabling every animation that doesn't line up, but I can't find a way to fully disable gender or disable the currently playing animation (except maybe Sexlab Tools, which is incompatible with this). I can't even see the name of whatever animation is playing because this mod removes the animation editor submenu that would normally show that. I can't revert to normal Sexlab either because then animations stop working completely. This feels like it should be such a simple fix and yet I've been losing my mind over this for like a week now. I would be super grateful for any help!

What can I say. P+ handled futa quite differently from og sexlab. Futa is now official third gender. So now all futa compatible animations must be modified so actors can be futa (slsb allows multiple genders for the actor in scene).

Quick fix - change pc gender to male or female in sexlab mcm menu.

And you can watch animation name in the console.

That faction is used to overwrite the sex of actors, the value has to be either 0, 1 or 2, for male female or futa respectively. 3 is invalid and will fallback to 0 (male) iirc

OK but who is doing the overwriting and why it is overwriting my sex?

Sry for the stupid question...but i just started testing this.

AT some point my animations stopped working...(they worked for 50-55 hrs).

The log says no animations found...if it can help with some mod i see character in t-pose.

 

I mean ...there is a way to refresh anims?--(sexlab says 1758 anims found...so i guess they're insstalled..)Pandora,nemesis, ..fnis..or they're not needed?

 

any help appreciated.

 

EDIT: i apologize. RESTARTING MO2 SEEMS TO FIX THE PROBLEM..MAYBE SOME MOD OR DLL WERE NOT LOADED

 

edit2:NOPE SRY...NOW I GOT FAILED TO CREATE SCENE in game

 

EDIT 3:; i forget to remove the futa tag.it's now working.

I must say that this is a very good software improvement, it even took care of a bug I had that had nothing to do with sexlab.

 

I'm using AE 1170 with a lot of mods installed, and for some reason my game interface works fine, and once I open various interfaces (e.g. menu, map) I get a black screen and need to manually Alt+tab to switch between them for an indeterminate amount of time, which is sometimes like a crash.

 

I'm pretty sure this bug is not caused by sexlab related mods, because I'm not using those.

 

I followed the instructions, removed the incompatible mods, and entered the system after installing Sexlab P+. Found that everything was actually working fine!!!

 

This is definitely worth a good review!!!

Whenever a scene starts no changes occur to my character's face, even during oral scenes. I've tried installing other custom expression mods but no dice.

I have it, found out the problem was from a modded hair style, once I swapped it with a different one it started working again.

Thought I would give v2 a try and opened a new save. Everything works smoothly except all the sciences have no voice All voice types are checked in the voice tab.

I'm sorry, I give up, it won't work for me. i did everything: uninstall the sl animation loader (i read here it isnt needed anymore), sl util+ and matchmaker, removed all animations and installed only slal billy and slal bakafactory, then used the conversion tool and fnis, started a new game, but animations wont start. At first they started but in idle position, now its always "Failed to find valid animations [SexLab MatchMaker] Unable to start Scene for Actors". Someone help please

Util+? Matchmaker? And why do you need that with P+?

In fact i wrote "uninstalled", those were some of the most common sl mods before p+. I was just saying that i removed the incompatible mods but for me p+ doesn't work

From what I see, there is 2 main reasons p+ dont work. Futa or other weird genders, and wrong tags in match maker.

Also slal animation version should match conversion version (written in description for every animation in conversions pack), and you might want to switch from fnis to pandora.

Just clear tags in the internal match maker. That only work if you start the scenes with that match maker.

I have not yet been able to get a 5p anim out of sexlab p+. I know I have them installed.

I tried using the matchmaker (sex is female and also set to female in sexlab p+) on four males and got this:

Now I'm human (redguard) and all the men are human. What the hell does the gender faction stuff mean? Who is setting that to -1?!

Am I supposed to use the console to change my faction rank manually? What is going on!?

 

Now the bizarre part. If I use the same matchmaker in the same room on the same NPCs except one, i.e. 4p, it works!

I still get lots of "Actor 20 has invalid gender faction rank (-1)" in sexlabutil.log but the scene plays.

 

What the hell is going on? Is this a bug in sexlab p+?

 

EDIT: So I tried setting faction rank in sexlabgenderfaction to 1 and running matchmaker again. Same failure. However, after trying that my faction rank was again -1. So it's apparently sexlab p+ itself that does the rank changing (and then complaining about it). After going the the MCM and changing my gender first to futa and then back to female, it's not set to ... -2!?

ok, the tags in matchmaker were always empty, I fixed the animations by installing the exact required versions for the conversion, and I don't use futas, only males and females, still i get "failed to find valid animation" error. It's getting really frustrating, I've been trying to make things work for days. Now i unistalled p+ and everything works again
