Probably not as the forza games are not on steam, there again, I have had problems with controllers stopping working or working oddly after various updates, usually when I get a bunch of them from windows/steam/nvidia plus various ones I do not notice as they are in the background and do not require re-boots, and it usually takes months to sort themselves out, normally after multiple updates again from the same sources, though sometimes a re-boot sorts it out immediatly, though that is pretty rare, luckily I do not use a controller for that many games, so it is merely irritating rather than a pain in the but it would be if I used one for playing all my games.

@Aylis For the Male Skin RBT mod, the author has moved the RBT version of the mod to the Old Files section. Probably want to make mention of that now. Version 2.0 is the latest RBT version. Also it's missing all of its textures for everything other than Nords, so that's gotta be an error that hopefully gets fixed.

 

Edit - If anyone has the old version of the file (from before the update today), I'd greatly appreciate it if they'd post it or send it to me. It's creepy fighting against the Blue Man Group.

 

Edit 2 - Nevermind, I forgot I'm running another instance and pulled the textures from that. This will hopefully teach me to read changelogs.

 

Edit 3 - Author has fixed the upload. 2.0 now has all the textures.

Ironically, I had updated the BnP files a day earlier than you. Hope I got it right. Was almost gonna mention here that with all the BnP changes, Mo2 did not "see" that there were updates, so I was a little surprised that I was pretty far behind in updates. That is an impressive mod when it works right!

 

Also, MA is saying 2.1 may be the last update for BnP. There is also mention of health problems. They have dropped RBT. It seems one has to choose RBT (v.2.0) or RSV (v.2.1)?

 

"Also do not forget that you cannot use RBT with RSV! Make sure to uninstall all RBT related mods!"

Sorry, no experience with that mod. That is one mod category with a lot of weird options over the years. Keep us posted.

I've been running it recently on my re-torn-up (neverending) load order.  I haven't updated/downgraded from .640 though, so YMMV.  I've not had any problems with it, it runs pretty smooth.  It touches all the actors - humanoid and creature.  It needs to be retuned relative to Redux, due to just being smoother/more consistent, as well as having a few new variables. 

 

I'd recommend giving it a try.

I've been using it since updating to 1130, and it seems to mostly work, although I may have found a bug or two. But I also haven't played a long enough game to seem if its doing as expected everywhere.

Ever heard of something called "vacation"? Or taken into consideration that around christmas/new year, people may very well decide to take some time off, be with family and focus on more important things than modding some game? (Especially if that game got a mod destroying patch recently and things are not yet stable again...) ?

 

In short words: Relax. If Aylis has not posted by the end of february, then you can go be concerened. ?

@trgdolors That was my reading of BnP as well. I'm still running 1.9 and everything is fine, and I assume 2.0 is good now with the textures uploaded.

 

Thanks for the input on SLA NG everybody. I gave it a shot for my new playthrough (about 3-4 hours in I think) and so far it has worked without any problem, which I couldn't say for Redux or OSA. For both of those mods my arousal level would occasionally get stuck, then when I hit the N key to check out it, all of a sudden it would skyrocket to bunnies on viagra levels. I know it wasn't my imagination either because the SL icons would reflect that, going from :| to :D immediately. Don't have that problem with NG, and the descriptions of what each option does are a million times better than the other two.

I can't walk, at all, or interact with anything right next to me. I can however move the camera around and open the menu with Esc. But I can't go into third person or do anything else. I know I'm not giving a lot of information here but I'm wondering if there's anything that's obvious that could be causing this. Using the modlist from OP.

If anyone here is wondering about the terrain conflict on the north and northeast sides of Hjertesten Hall its due to Complementary Grass Fixes. I moved Hjertesten Hall just after Complementary Grass Fixes in the loadorder and that resolved it.

Good to know. HH just got a large update, so I wonder if that's still the case.

 

Speaking of conflicts, does anybody have invisible ice floating in the north sea?

I assume the conflict is still there with the new version of HH because they are both still trying to modify the same cell.

 

If you're updating to HH 12.1 it uses a higher plugin header version so you will also need this to avoid CTD on startup: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441

 

I also have invisible ice in the north sea. I can see the floating ice in the distance but it disappears as I get close. Probably a LOD issue? I noticed it when travelling to Septimus Signus's Outpost.

Running into an issue and I'm very confused.

 

I've only installed the mods on the modlist so far. But when I run FNIS (even using FNIS XXL) I get this error halfway through:

 

ERROR(2026): Too many animations  88 (..\..\meshes\actors\character\animations\SexLabCreature\FNIS_SexLabCreature_List.txt):

 

Also very confused on where mods are supposed to go, I think. They're all in ModOrganizer -> Skyrim Special Edition -> Mods.

 

The game itself is in Steam Library -> steamapps -> common -> Skyrim Special Edition.

 

All mods are working when I launch through MO's SKSE. However, FNIS did NOT work until I manually moved that into Steam Library -> steamapps -> common -> Skyrim Special Edition -> Mods (important distinction, separate from ModOrganizer -> Skyrim Special Edition -> Mods where all my other mods are); however as long as I ran it through MO it was loading the animations correctly (only had some basic character animations), until I added more animations and now it's hitting that cap. Is this guide out of date for the amount of animations in the packs or did I screw up somewhere? What can I do and what folders should these all be in?

 

Edit: Game works and runs fine if I disable one of the animation packs (though obv. I would like to use it and am interested to learn potential workarounds), but I'm having an issue with Defeat where when knocked down by wolves, they don't do anything - they just walk away. Other NPCs (including creatures) that I tested Do The Deed(TM) they're supposed to, and creature animations are on (and I have some wolf animations). Any ideas?

Jesus, this is the scariest game to mod I've ever saw. Noob question: All the mods I'll need to download are linked in the first page posts? Or I would need to check the requirements for each one of them? Because that would take... a few days. I'm surprised there is no Mod to install pre-build lists, by the way.

 

Edit: Also, isn't the DynDOLOD full of bugs, based on their description?

I have approached Karthwarten from all directions and the game locks up. I’ve deleted all inventory, still locks up. It acts like it has a shield around it. So far rest of game is fine.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Is this a playthrough that started on a different version of skyrim AE - such as 1.6.649, and has been updated to 1.6.1130?

 

there was a CTD issue someone had a few weeks ago which was approaching lakeview, and turned out to be something in the SKSE/scripts that had been through an update. 

 

the update could have triggered orphaned scripts and variables, at which point errors will start to build up. For the other player, the issue started as something consistent (lakeview forging area).

@Erlang I think Animated Ice Floes has fixed the issue with the last update. It was indeed a problem with distance. I believe I've seen it working correctly now, but I haven't played that part of the map enough to say it 100% fixed it yet.

 

@Everlust Yeah, if you're using XL then there's additional steps that aren't listed in the guide. I vaguely remember you have to tweak an ini file.

 

@jos380 Correct, install all mods in the order listed, and all mods are on the first page. It takes a while to install. I've done it all in a day, but it's literally an all day event. There are mod lists you can install through Wabajack, but this list changes so often when it's being updated and it takes all the fun out of modding imho. DynDOLOD is working fine. What bugs are you seeing?

 

@Yrral Best way to troubleshoot is to disable one group/header of mods at a time. Start at the bottom and disable all mods in the "Final" section, start a new game, and go to the area you're having the freeze. If it freezes, it's not one of those mods, so go to the next section and disable that. Repeat until you don't have the issue, then enable mods one-by-one until you find the one that's the problem. It's time consuming, but not as much as it sounds at first. The game will always crash using SMP hair styles if HDT-SMP is disabled, so leave that enabled if you get that far back (you probably won't, it'll probably be something with one of the overhauls).

To more easily get around after you start a new game, open a console and type "tmm 1 1" to enable fast travel to all markers automatically. Freezes are far more annoying to troubleshoot than crashes unfortunately.

I did set "LoadCTDCalculation=0" in the FNIS.ini file which I read to do but that did not fix the issue.

 

The OP says to only use FNIS for Sexlab and use Nemesis for "everything else" which maybe is what the issue is, but I am not sure how to specify only Sexlab for FNIS?
