Game looks amazing! It took a bit to get everything sorted out but I'm happy with it. I've not downloaded the SL mods yet as I wanted to get everything else sorted.

 

Edit - Actually a question - I know we're using OSL Aroused from Nexus, but is there a reason we're not using OSL Aroused - Arousal reborn?

Curious here with the inclusion of Community Shaders mod - Since the mod page specifies that it disables itself in the presence of an ENB installation.  Since you also have ENB input disabler on the same list, it doesn't look like you're shifting away from an ENB base to Community Shader base.  Is there something else going on there?  :)

And gotta agree with @Bigglsby, are you looking at dropping ENB?
Those mods in my list seemed to work fine (with ENB off, and reshade installed)

No idea about a reason, but they are the same mod, by the same author, at the same versions, and identical files when downloaded. You can pick either one (but suspect the nexus version allows for easier tracking of updates, which I have to do, since apparently I downloaded it the day before the newest version went up).

Check your patches for it, I think there's a Lux patch which isn't compatible with another patch (going by memory there, I had a CTD that was caused by that)

tr it might have been EmbersXD (which I'm also using but isn't on this modlist), it give you somewhere to start looking anyway, one of the FOMODS warns you about it's patch incompatibility with another patch, I think it was LUX ?

Your new screenshots look amazing!

 

Are there any mods I have to reinstall or remove if I want to transition from the Pi-Cho ENB to Rudy? Other than the obvious enbseries files, of course. I could have sworn that there was a FOMOD isntaller, or patch, or something else along the way, that was specifically for use with Pi-Cho?

Love the direction here.  Trivia - Boris does have an ENB performance version he has been working on.  I can see a fantastic improvement in my game over the current public version.  Not sure if performance was an issue in your considered changes.  Just thought I would mention it.  Thank you for showing the options for Majestic Mountains.  May go ahead and try it.  I'm at 1300 and still going.  Blending my old list in with your new one.  Should mention that V's Cut is an issue for me.  Complicated to use and why you probably included the bodyslide files.  There is a lot of work to use that body mod.  Rebuilding this and that.  I disabled for now until I learn a few things.  Take care.  T

I'm not the person to know exactly but I check weather and reshade when it comes to ENB versions.  I believe most on Nexus are built specifically for one or both.  I deleted the weather related to Picho from the original list and Picho from the main game file.  Started over at that point.  I like Rudy and so far it looks good in game.  Still in building mode but popped into game see 48 hours or so of change.  Thought I would mention Seasons.  There is a mod I have used that helps Seasons with specific weathers.  Seasonal Weather Framework.  Don't think there is an ENB concern but just mentioning. Seasons and all of its options are in my game or I simply won't play.  Seasons and Seasonal Landscapes  are must have mods for me.

I was wondering if you'd made progress on the flickering issue? Narrowed it down to what it could be?

 

I have also been experiencing this and it's driving me crazy; at first it was mostly outside Whiterun, but just when I thought I had smoothed out the flickering in Whiterun I would start seeing the flickering and also blurry textures creeping in as I ran around the world. It was almost like my system was running out of memory, or maybe not unloading textures to let new ones load in or something, and this is despite me having lots of RAM.

 

My last test appears to have finally solved the flickering, which I accomplished by removing Ryn's Whiterun Outskirts as well as all the 'Seasons' stuff.... both of these seemed kind of excessive to me anyways but it's still frustrating as I don't see any reason why these shouldn't be able to run on my system.

Then you almost certainly have a bunch of flickering walls in this area as well, oh, and are the lucky receipient of the dyndolod bug.

Its a requirement for the waterline fix. And that works fine in combination with an ENB. Maybe Boris changed something, but it works.

Lux and ELFX both change interior lighting. Two mods working on the same things usually don't work well together.

The weather mod has to be changed.

I use both and got no flickering. I got several propable causes for it:

I've been running some tests regarding this issue (you're not the first with that). So far i got:

1. Running out of system RAM.

    With only 8GB installed and 4k texture packs i could repeatedly trigger this. 16GB and 2k texture packs worked, same as 32GB and 4k texture packs.

2. Conflicting texture packs

    Especially with mixing old and new texture packs it can happen that the files are messed up. The 'old' way was using different p-files for parallax, the new method has          changed internally.

    Example: 'Farmhouse Stonewalls' is using the old p-files. The walls have parallax but work only if you delete the corresponding p-file.

3. Broken 'Billboard Output'

    If those files arn't created correctly a lot of graphical glitches can happen. Recreating them usually helps.    

4. Texture conflict

    You might have two texture packs fighting with each other as both try to place a texture on the same mesh.

I'm trying to create a patch for the walls. Thankfully CleverCharff gave open permission to create a mod out of his textures and i do like his farmhouse walls.

I saw the guidance but it doesn't really make a lot of sense. 

 

Sure, if I was running out of RAM that would be understandable but I have plenty.

 

I shouldn't have conflicting textures if I followed this guide, right?

 

I ran and re-ran the DynDOLOD steps to try and ensure that billboards weren't broken, but it never quite resolved the flickering.

 

So in the end I removed Ryn's mod and (fingers crossed) the flickering has gone away. Now that Ryn's mod is gone, I'm seeing that what used to be flickering was actually objects that are still present in a more vanilla version of the area, so something in that mod was unsuccessfully attempting to overwrite them without hiding the original stuff.

 

This doesn't quite explain why I started seeing flickering outside of the direct Whiterun area as well, but as it was happening a lot around Bleakfalls Barrow, that might still be accounted for by blaming Ryn's mod since Whiterun is still largely visible from there? Who knows, but I wasn't a big fan of the Whiterun Outskirts changes anyways so I'm not going to miss that mod being gone.

I was having this exact issue with all the Ryn stuff around Whiterun (City Limits, Halted Stream Camp, Bleakwind Basin). I solved it by rolling back Seasons of Skyrim SKSE from v 1.8.0 to 1.7.5.2. I didn't even have to re run DYNDOLOD. A few posts on the Seasons of Skyrim page mention this solution.

Ahh well that's interesting... so maybe it wasn't specifically Ryn's mod causing it, but the Seasons of Skyrim which I also removed rather than roll back.

 

I've been watching my resource monitor while playing and, while my system RAM is very free, all these high-end textures are sure putting my graphics card to work as they are taking up 11 - 11.5 GB when I'm outside running around. My card also has 'shared' GPU memory which isn't being used currently, but I dunno what happens if the dedicated memory fills up and it needs to use that. Probably not good things.

My initial testing was to remove my Dyndolod run through.  No lod right now.  So far no flickering.  Up close anyway.  Doing a more complete test without Dyndolod today to see if it is still an issue.  My previous mod list on Vortex, I had issues with getting flickering meshes fix loaded correctly.  I'm following the guide on that mod this time so we will see.

Found in an earlier post.  About to dye my hair blonde I was so frustrated.  I'm new to parallax.  First real effort to test is with this mod list.  I'm getting the spiky dirt.  I did follow the load order and changed my ENB Series.ini to enable all parallax options.  Hard to test with it like this if you have a suggestion.  Thanks.

Ahh well that's interesting... so maybe it wasn't specifically Ryn's mod causing it, but the Seasons of Skyrim which I also removed rather than roll back.

 

I've been watching my resource monitor while playing and, while my system RAM is very free, all these high-end textures are sure putting my graphics card to work as they are taking up 11 - 11.5 GB when I'm outside running around. My card also has 'shared' GPU memory which isn't being used currently, but I dunno what happens if the dedicated memory fills up and it needs to use that. Probably not good things.

What resource monitor are you using?

Just using the one in Windows Task Manager, nothing fancy

 

I do have software that came with the card but Performance Monitor shows utilization, memory, and temps so that's about all I needed.
