I'm thinking about a 6800(XT). If all goes well i hope to get it in roughly 3-4 months (at the current price here). Worst case would be a 6700 XT.

Got a 1440 display here (running at 1080 atm).

I am using a 6700XT with no complaints on a 1440 display. handles your list with no issues whatsoever, as well as my other apps/games including my 3D modelling/rendering work. Can recommend.

6800xt is 600€ish? at that pricepoint I would try to find the other 50€ to grab a 6950xt

6700xt @400€ - Might take a look at the A770 at that price, intel drivers have gotten much better the past eight months, and from personal experience the 8gb a750 is sufficient to drive this modlist skyrim at 1440p (just not high refresh rate and I probably should take a closer look at my vram usage :P)

The Intels are really that good? I'm kinda surprised and gladdened; the GPU market needs some competition.

It is not really compatible with the guide. The landscape and cities are changed so much that there will be problems (unless i redo at least half of those). Also it interferes with 'Sisterhood of Dibella' and thats a no-go for me.

Aylis, about the landscap and the cities, i agree it could introduce some problems i haven't because i don't modify as much as you the landscape ?

But, this mod doesn't interfere with Sisterhood of Dibella. In fact, to avoid any issue, the mod deactivates itself its quest part which interferes with.

Not sure if I've mentioned this before, but I've been running Acquisitive Soul Gems Multithreaded to make sure soul gems are never underfilled. Been working like gangbusters so far!

Has anyone toyed with Dress Up Lover's NPC Outfit Changer? Looks like it'd be able to quickly swap outfits for Companions with standalone frameworks (Daegon, Vayne, Coralyn, etc) without directly interfering with what they already have going on.

Finally, been running into a bug where trying to change the undressing options in OStim NG results in a CTD. Actors who are clothed when the scene begins will undress, then redress in the middle of the animations. I thought adjusting settings would resolve this, but OStim seems to have other ideas. Let me know if posting a crash log would be helpful. I have... a few. ?

not sure if 'that good' is the right phrasing. it gets the job done.

currently the entry level deal is the a750, rx7600 might change that. however all AAA titles this year took a big dump on 8gb vram cards so far. neither do I think team green will release anything sensible this gen either ('lower' end 40 series cards seem to be cut down so bad it isn't even funny anymore and jensen still wants allzemoney for those)

@alaunus01

Yep, i totally agree. Atm it looks like 12 gb will be the minimum vram in the forseeable future (unless you're cranking down the settings). The Radeon 7600 will have 8 gb so, in a way, it is already too low for AAA before it even comes out. Add to that the limited bandwidth on the PCIe lanes on some mainboards and it gets even worse. I have to use a risercard for my big M2 and this cuts the available lanes for my video card in half.

So if i get a new card, and want to keep it for a longer time, i'll need one with a lot of vram. I'm a bit surprised that my old Radeon 570 lasted this long, but now i'm really starting to see the limitations.

Last year we stood at the edge of the abyss, now we took an important step forward... ?

I've made a separator between Sex Mods and World Quests which is where I put other sex mods. This inlcudes Devious Devices, as the first mod immediately after Sex Mods and extra animation packs.

Been looking for someone who was able to add it for a while. Could you post your load order? My game always crashes or doesn't run whenever I attempt to add it in. Thanks!

I was expecting 'laptop integrated graphics' good for a first attempt from Intel.

It's very good at what it does. The only minus is that you need another NPC with you to access Dress Up Lover and it takes a bit to get used to the menu.

@markvarley

I've seen it, but i think it will be problematic with our exterior Markarth overhaul as there's no patch for it.

Well, i simply hated Diablo III. Too colorful and reminded me a lot of WoW.

The new one looks really good. The world went back to its dirtier and bloodier roots (aka Diablo I and Diablo II combined) and now feels right. The armors and weapons look right and i havn't found anything (yet?) that i could complain about.

Spoiler

Rogue.png.ea3d7fa07006b05bdb948620cf659dba.png

Even with the standard textures it works quite well and you have to look for errors with them (those were rare). Gameplay is the usual ARPG, so no surprise there. Very impressive are the cutscenes you get. They really fit and some are more an extension of what you see and fluidly lead back into the game. Very well done!

The world itself is great. They actually managed to create a believable world. There are so many hidden places and the storytelling (as far as i could test) is great too. For someone who likes to explore its a wet dream. Two hours ago i finally finished to unhide the map we got in the Beta. The altars are tucked away and i only found eight so far (Yay! More to explore).

The big elephant in the room still is the monetization. What they told us so far seems to be fair. But it is not the first time someone claimed it to be 'cosmetics only' and then change it afterwards... With 'Diablo Immortal' around i'm not so sure if Blizzard can be fully trusted. But, on the other hand, the developers are doing their best to fix problems asap and a lot of the feedback from the community was already changed and is included in the game.

From what i've seen so far they seem to be on the right track. And, as i preordered my copy, i hope they stay on it.

I won't recommend the game (monetization is still somewhat unknown) but i had a lot of fun. But beware the (world)bosses are really tough. I managed, with a lot of other players, to kill Ashava (the worldboss in the Beta) but it was a very tough and close fight.

On the subject of carriages, I have been using Carriage Drivers Are Alive SE for some time. I don't actually use the carriages much, but I like the extra life this mod gives the game. I am not really using this guide now (yet) as I still have a very old, big, messy play thru, so I can't say if it works with all the other mods. I see the Detailed Carriages 2.0 page says it is compatible. Oh, I am using Carriages and Stables Dialogue Bundle, also.

Edit: I should note I have not been using either of the Detailed Carriages mods yet, though. I will look at them when I get a chance.

Ah, the OA got one. Then it should be fine...

I just installed Detailed Carriages 2.0 and it included a patch for Markarth Outskirts, I'll see how it is with the included one but I probably won't get to it today. I also had a patch for Ryn's Whiterun City Limits and I didn't see a patch for that...

EDIT: mod author mentioned in the comments that it should work fine without any patches (Ryn's Whiterun City Limits)

Not sure what I did, but OSA/Ostim now fades the entire game to blank. UI is still visible, but nothing else. When I quit to Main Menu and reload the save, the screen remains black. Quitting to Desktop restores functionality.

So far I have tried:

  1. Restoring default Ostim NG settings through the MCM.
  2. Checked for & run updates on everything in the 'Sex Mods' category, running FNIS & Nemesis afterwards.
  3. Uninstalled & reinstalled Ostim NG and OSL Aroused.
  4. Cleaned my save through Fallrim ReSaver.

If anyone else has run into this, I'd appreciate any help you can render.

I legit couldn't play WoW because the art style (cartoon-oversized stuff) was too ugly for me, then DIA3 came out and it crashed on my (at the time) perfectly ok pc.
tried later and i realized it looked more or less like wow, just a fine touches here and there, managed to finish the game with Hunter because i liked her gameplay style (Constant DPS)  but that was it, then diablo inmortal came out and while perfectly ok as a game.. its only a game for the first 25-30 levels, then its a slot machine simulator. Huge disappointment as there's basically no other game like it (besides torchlight)
For what i have seen of DIA4.. i trust 0 that its actually what they shown so far, not to mention blizzard now backpedals on their word (and even stuff that its already done) whenever they feel its going to hurt the slot machin.. i mean "engagement incentives" they have set up on almost all their modern games.
It could go the cosmetic route (but leaving the base game barren like OW2) or it could go the "being able to progress" route (Diablo immortal) either way its going to be bad.
As much flask as people give halo infinite it at least limit their stuff to cosmetics, at least they kept their word on that, on blizzard i cant literally trust anything they show, like nothing, at all, and i feel like DIA4 its going to be at best, mixed, and at worst a Warcraft 3; Refunded.
The hubworld of DIA4 alone gives me a bad impression. The balance (as far as i have seen) has been mediocre, and it feels more like a Diablo 3.5/remaster than an actual Diablo 4, but all of it is just my opinion, been rather dissapointent in gaming so far and i keep coming back to 2015-2020 games, besides the odd gem here and there (total warhammer, Elden Ring, Hyfi rush, etc)
At least the classics are there i guess
(goes back to halo MCC)

PD:  i think this statue would fit just fine in the mod list https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/91358
PD2: Dyndolod updated, i feel pain

Also, see this post DD SE Troubleshooting Post. I'm using the updated SE patch from there and the updated scripts from here (and an trying out the DAR patches).

Thank you so much! You are very kind.

I have gotten everything to run now, but I keep getting two pop up windows/errors, and I am not sure if they are reason for concern. The first being something regarding SOS. I have used the version given in the guide, the one without dll, and I have looked for solutions but I am struggling to find anything recent;

image.png.c526ab1bcbe9f44bf00336f8d7e2e4bc.png

The second error is regarding having too many animations for actors/character/defaultmale.hkx and defaultfemale.hkx. I have FNIS extended set up to allow up to 30,000 animations and I received no errors when running it as well as Nemesis, so I am wondering if these are false positives or not. Is there a fix for them?

Last but not least, does anyone know if AI Overhaul works with this guide/setup? I have been looking at it as of late and I am hoping to include it and Fluffworks (adds fur effect to animals/creatures) into my load order, but I was hoping to get some advice on the best way to do that first. I don't want to break or disrupt anything. Links to the mods can be found here:

Fluffworks

Thank you all so much!

I've seen that error before, but cannot remember now what caused it. But PapyrusUtil.dll is provided by by two mods in the list: PapyrusUtil AE and Sexlab, with the Sexlab version overwriting the PapyrusUtil version. So use MO2 conflicts tab for sexlab to see if you have sexlab losing any file conflicts related to PapyrusUtil.dll or pex.
For reference, this is my Sexlab winning file conflicts:

The second error is regarding having too many animations

The third part to animations, which can complain about to many animations, is DAR (Dynamic Animation Replacer), which has a16k limit for animations, and used to require a patched dll to overcome. Fortunately recent DAR versions come with an ini file you can use to change the upper limit of DARs animations without having to mess with finding a patched dll. Thats in the DAR mod: SKSE/Plugins/DynamicAnimationReplacer.ini
The value in there (0x4000 which is hex for 16384) can be increased, up to a maximum of 32768 but DAR will be extremely unstable at that level (when I had it set to 0x8000 I'd get random CTDs mid combat). So you need to set it to a value between 0x4000 and 0x8000. There is no perfect number, and it might take some trial and ctd to get right, depending on you exact modlist. For mine (and to give you a starting value) its 0x7e00 (thats not how many animations I have, its just the highest number I can put into DAR and not see random DAR-related CTDs). If you get random CTDs and crashlogger flagging DAR as a culprit, change the e to d, then c until things are stable.

Diablo III was when Blizzard left my 'just buy' list and joined Bioware on my 'maybe, if the reviews are still good a year after release, after checking it out in a lets play' list. 2012 was a bad year for my gaming.
For me it was 'how the hell have they made the graphics look worse than Diablo II?' rather than 'looks like WoW' (which I had stupid hours of time spent in - one of every race and one of every class, both factions, max level, at the time).
Of course, Diablo III came with the amazing launch - in 3 days I managed to be allowed to play for a whole 45 minutes (*slow clap* well done Blizzard, who could have predicted your latest game release would actually have people wanting to actually, you know, play it). Then I got invited to the Torchlight 2 beta, discovered that that one actually lets players play, rather than sit in a queue for hours and didn't go back to Diablo III until about a year later when I played through it just once, and never picked it up again.

Check if you activated 'Fade to Black' in the MCM. Don't know exactly where but i think that was an option.

I see we're on the same level here. Once they were 'just buy the game' now i'm quite sceptical when it comes to both companies.
