There are patches for G&W + Northern Roads, and Redbag's + Northern Roads but nothing that combines all three fixes so all three can work together, at least not that I can see. So the options are to get rid of Redbag's Falkreath, Northern Roads, Or Gods and Worship. I did the latter. 1

Otherwise it's a fucking nightmare to patch. I actually didn't touch Skyrim for nearly two months now, because of the bloody troubleshooting. I still haven't got around ACMOS. I can't get it to work on this mod list for some reason. It works perfectly on my old PC with a much leaner (by an order of magnitude) load order but it just doesn't generate proper map with this setup. I'm actually considering dumping the whole damn list and starting anew but only with choice cuts. Should've done it in the first place, instead of blindly following it. I I was too excited that I had a brand new machine that lets me use things I could only dream about previously and I wanted a fast and easy solution. The joke's on me. Thanks... Maybe some combo of the available patches would work, but I spent hours adjusting the load order and couldn't get them all to play well with each other. Northern Roads looks too good for me to give up on. I never spent much time with Gods and Worship so it was easier for me to remove that one. Edited December 31, 2025 by DarkForce_256

Lost a leg and nerve damage in my right shoulder and arm. The start of this year will definitely be 'interesting' for the next few months. 3

Should I just cut my losses here before i get too much deeper? I have an RTX 3060, i7 11700K, 32GB of RAM, and my game is installed on an ssd. I'm using all 2K versions of textures, no 4K.

Are you playing at 1080 or 1440 resolution? A 3060 should be decent enough if you don't use high resolution textures, but you would most likely be around 30FPS. You could try skipping ahead to the lighting and shader sections install those and see how your frame rates are then. After which you can make the decision if it is unplayable for you or not.

I'll probably follow your advice with the lighting mods and decide then... on that note, would you happen to know of another modding guide similar to this that's a bit smaller? if not that's alright, I can always figure it out myself of course.

I don't have experience with other mod lists sorry, maybe someone else around here does.

I downloaded the new PGPatcher and discovered (as was noted here a few months ago) that it now wants to be installed as an MO2 mod. Does it matter where in the load order I place it? Also, I noticed some posts about problems with it, but didn't understand whether they got resolved or not. Can I just reconfigure the executable in MO2 to make it point to the mod folder? Thanks.

I just installed it at the start. It works fine, if you follow the instructions and set the paths right. 1
