guangxitufei Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 According to the description on the "Landscape Fixes For Grass Mods" page: "Load this mod after Verdant, Folkvanger, or other grass mods unless otherwise instructed. (Generally, it is best to manually move grass mods above this mod if LOOT has no rules for new grass mods and places them very low in your load order.)", should I place it after Freak's Floral Fields esp? By the way, is it feasible to use LOOT to categorize the esp mods on the right side based on the mod separators on the left side of MO2, and then sort them accordingly? Or is it better to sort them according to the installation order?

One mistake I would make is highlighting multiple mods at once and activating them all together. Mod Organizer sorts those mods on its own, I couldn't figure out why my load order was so far off from Aylis's. Used MO2 for years and never knew that it did that, so when I rebuild a mod list I install the mods in order then activate them one at a time in order and the load order ends up being the same as it is in the guide. Not sure if that's what you're running into but it threw me off for a while.

Because I don't use some mods, and some new mods have been added, and I'm a beginner and not very familiar with using SSEEdit to view ESP information, I'm wondering if it would be better to categorize them and then use the LOOT tool to sort the LOOTs within the categories. Also, when I checked the suggested LOOT order for Nexus mods, I found it was different from the installation order in the list. For example, "Landscape Fixes For Grass Mods should be placed after Grass Mods, and FormList-Patch-Collection_ITMs should be placed at the end."

LOOT only sorts plugins and only if those plugins are included in LOOT's masterlist. LOOT will not sort meshes or textures, because those are not plugins. These have to be done manually. For reference: plugin order =/= mod order. Those are two different things, but both have to be sorted correctly. LOOT will not do the latter at all, that is something you have to do in your mod manager. Plugin is the .esp/esl/esm file. "Mod" in this instance is every other file contained within the archive. Meshes, textures, scripts, sound files, animations, etc. In MO2 it is the overwrite order. In Vortex it is Deploy order. Edited December 13, 2025 by belegost 1
deff. Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 (edited) I'm trying to set up Community Shaders and got problem like in screenshot. Obviously, that I'm missing something...Could it be that I have installed PGPatcher and don't have any of PBR mods? Spoiler Edit: okay, it's not PGPatcher. This problem somehow connected with Community shaders. When I disabling all shaders in CS menu, everything is back to vanilla. After enabling shaders in CS menu everything is going back like in screenshot. Tried to turn off every shader, but without success... Edited December 21, 2025 by deff.

Is this a fresh install or was it working before and you updated?

Will see what happens Edit1: Found the "problem". In shader Light limit fix "Enable light visualisation" box was checked. Edited December 21, 2025 by deff. 1
FallFall Posted December 25, 2025 Posted December 25, 2025 The list seems to be missing a few mods and 2 mesh mods for bowls and chests that aren't available. The big ones are ENB, FNIS, SL Animation loader or nemesis. They are being used judging b the SL animations or normal animations and ENB related mods but the bases are no where to be found? Do we no longer need ENB to use the mods that need it? Does SL just load the animations now and animations are aaaaaa compiled* on their own?

I'm having problems in Falkreath. With Redbag's Falkreath, there's a wall separating the town and the graveyard. stepping through the gate in that wall I see this. The partial building is the House of the Dead: Reveal hidden contents Taking just a few steps forward, the scene changes to this. The building is missing. And then a few steps further on (3rd spoiler) it reappears. Reveal hidden contents Reveal hidden contents This is with all PBRs and LODs built and active. Any help is appreciated. If anyone is still struggling with this I finally had some time to track down the problem. Gods and Worship not working with Redbags Falkreath is the cause. The patch for Redbag's Falkreath + Gods and worship fix's the issue, but then Northern Road's breaks it again. There are patches for G&W + Northern Roads, and Redbag's + Northern Roads but nothing that combines all three fixes so all three can work together, at least not that I can see. So the options are to get rid of Redbag's Falkreath, Northern Roads, Or Gods and Worship. I did the latter. 1
Kamikatana Posted December 30, 2025 Posted December 30, 2025 Funny you wrote this Darkforce. I just had the same type of issue, but like belegost, I decided to dump Northern Roads instead. That thing has WAAYYYY too many patches. Thanks for the Redbad/G&W patch notice. I'll go check that... Thanks...

Otherwise it's a fucking nightmare to patch. I actually didn't touch Skyrim for nearly two months now, because of the bloody troubleshooting. I still haven't got around ACMOS. I can't get it to work on this mod list for some reason. It works perfectly on my old PC with a much leaner (by an order of magnitude) load order but it just doesn't generate proper map with this setup. I'm actually considering dumping the whole damn list and starting anew but only with choice cuts. Should've done it in the first place, instead of blindly following it. I I was too excited that I had a brand new machine that lets me use things I could only dream about previously and I wanted a fast and easy solution. The joke's on me. Been playing RDR2 and Manor Lords instead. Edited December 31, 2025 by belegost

Northern Roads looks too good for me to give up on. I never spent much time with Gods and Worship so it was easier for me to remove that one. Edited December 31, 2025 by DarkForce_256
Aylis Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Happy new year everyone. Mine didn't start too well. Looks like I'm bound to a wheelchair for the rest of my life. Lost a leg and nerve damage in my right shoulder and arm. The start of this year will definitely be 'interesting' for the next few months. 3
